We had the most wonderful time renting with Summjt Motorsports! The team was so kind and incredibly communicative. We opted for a two hour no guide ride and felt completely safe and confident after the safety training and using the gps features on the machines. The two hours was plenty for us to head up to mile 12 hop off to take in the views and make it back down. If you want more time to play recommend booking the 4 hours. We spend our summers in Bozeman, Montana, and this year discovered Summit All Terrain Rentals. It truly enhanced our Montana experience and created wonderful multi-generational memories. Each mile was incredibly scenic, with our favorite stretch between mile markers 10 and 11. We packed a cooler and sandwiches for picnics during our four-hour rental rides. Hands down an amazing experience for our early March trip!! It was an unguided trip to the top, 15 miles each way. The path was freshly plowed and markings were very clear. 4 hours was plenty The staff??? Above helpful, educated and FUN!! Before booking, I had called several snow mobile companies in the area that didn't answer questions and/or didn't appear to want our business. Summit staff answered all my emailed questions within 30 minutes!! Everyone was so friendly!!! And at the last minute, my husband had to cancel due to a vertigo spell and even though we were past our cancellation timing, they refunded us his portion. I mean talk about customer service!!!!! AWESOME! Our family of four (wife, myself and two teenage girls) come skiing in Big Sky every year. We always like one day in the middle of the ski week to do something 'not skiing'. We've done it all, including Yellowstone (both Old Faithful and the Grand Canyon) by snowmobiles, snowcat rides, the horse drawn sleigh rides to dinner at Lone Mountain Ranch (which is awesome BTW) and were looking for something different this year. We also tend to vacation a little on the 'adventure' side of things - by example last year we took the kids on a week long rafting trip down the Salmon river, sleeping in tents along the way. You just never know what you're gonna get but this was really an awesome day in the mountains. The sleds were 2023 Polaris units in EXCELLENT condition. Awesome sleds. We rode two-up since our kids aren't old enough yet and the sleds had way more power and handling than we would ever need. I think the best part about this adventure is that there is no guide or escort. They program the GPS monitors that are on the sleds and you just following the path. Super easy, super fun, and we got to spend a day as a family without a stranger watching over us. The trail was great and takes you above 9000ft with amazing vista views in all directions. We packed a lunch and ate while parked in a giant powder bowl at the turnaround point. If you like powersports, adventure-type experiences, DO THIS. read more

We rented a 4 seater Polaris at storm castle park. The atv was a lot of fun and powerful. The only problem was the turn ratio was huge. A lot of the park was for 2 seaters and the 4 seater wouldn't fit in the paths. The next time we go we will rent 2 seater to have better access to all the parts of the park. If I could give 10 stars I would! Ashley and her dad Mike are top shelf! Ashley graciously answered all my questions (on my multiple calls) and had empathy for my concerns with advance booking due to the fact that we are airline employees and would be flying in on standby. Once I was sure we would get on I called the day prior and the side by side (we had a choice of several quality products and chose the Polaris Razor) was loaded on their trailer and ready for Mike to lead us to the drop off point where we parked our rental car. This is a great set up they have as you are free to leave at your leisure, just give them a courtesy call and let them know so they can come collect the ATV. They take you to a great mountain with some of the smoothest trails I've seen (compared to what we are accustomed to in southern CO) with awesome views. Mike is so interesting and grew up in the area we could have talked to him all day. We will be back! read more

Summit MotorSports ATR provided our family with a great day of snowmobiling. We rented snowmobile gear and it was a very seamless process in finding a good fit for all of us. We rented two 2-seaters and were given ample instruction on their use. It was a little bit more difficult terrain than we expected and the weather conditions provided for very low visibility. We went off trail twice and buried our sleds. Tanner was on it immediately and came out and rescued us and got us back on the path. Every staff person was friendly and courteous and made sure we had a great time! We would definitely recommend them in Big Sky country. read more

Had such a great time today after renting several side-by-sides and ATV's today. Ashley and Mike helped us prior to coming in to making sure we had a great time in the trails. I contacted Ashley over a week ago to make plans for my family vacation and wanting to ha e a great day planned for my wife, 3 of my kids and my daughter in law. Ashley answered all of my questions ahead of time and was there to meet us at there store along with Mike. Such nice people! Everything we wanted and then some. We had a large group and reserved ten machines for the Big Sky trail. We had to make several changes leading up to the event, and at the last minute one of our group couldn't attend. No worries. They let us rent one less machine - even though they had brought it with them - and invited us to try their Corral Bar and Grill at the trailhead afterwards. What a great find that was! Do you need/want a guide? Summit is not a licensed outfitter with Forest Service Permits allowing them to provide guided snowmobile trips on Forest Service Land, i.e., where you would be riding. Summit was recently cited for illegally guiding snowmobile trips. The only licensed outfitter in Big Sky with Forest Service Permits for guiding snowmobile trips is Canyon Adventures. If your group wants a guide, I advise going to Canyon Adventures. If your group does not need a guide, Canyon Adventures rents snowmobiles for self-guided trips. read more

We rode trails in the morning to visit the Ringing Rocks and then headed to Delmoe Lake for a wonderful lunch on the beach! We had a fantastic time. The equipment performed flawlessly. Everything was perfect from start to finish! We were greeted by Kelly and another gentlemen, who provided us with helmets and explained where to pick up the ATV, which was a short drive from the facility. The facility was extremely clean and our time there was brief, but informative, so we could get right to the mountain and ride.
