Simply delicious. Service is fast, busy in a good way, relaxed atmosphere. Most importantly, the food will not disappoint.

Jam packed with people even during a pandemic! That's how great the food is. Walk in, wait on line, order food then get a number and pick a table, they'll deliver it to you. Portions are huge here! read more

Great place for a seriously great biscuit. Be warned they come out big and loaded. My go to fave is the vicious... chicken is cooked to perfection and the sweet items balance the heat so well. The biscuits and gravy (gravy train) is generous... and i have not manage to finish it yet. Come hungry! read more

Amazing food and service. Ordering then finding the seats was a cool technique to cut down chaos. Biscuits cooked to perfection. Butters were neat and clean in the area. read more

Vicious Biscuit - Old school breakfast with spinach in eggs and a vi'mosa - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Mount Pleasant, South Carolina

Although the place was packed, there was not a regular waffle on the menu so we ordered the chicken and sweet potato waffle dish. It was more like a mushy cinnamon donut that crumbled (not sure if maybe it was GF?) so neither of us cared for it too much. The fried chicken was ok and not too bad but I've certainly had better. The service was really great and I'm sure the other items were ok but just not 5 stars for me. read more

WOW!! From the moment walked in, we knew we were in for a great experience. Beginning with Nic at the counter taking orders to Laura with both being most welcoming. Nic was patient with our questions (visiting from Chicago) and took her time with us to answer all our questions, smiling all the way thru. Laura, making the rounds, delivering food and clearing tables, took the time with us when we inquired about the history of the business. Very sociable and informed, both Nic and Laura were always smiling in conversation and appears the management team has placed them perfectly in the "front of the house." Definitely know how to treat the customer. Great food and drink...HIGHLY recommended. read more

The man taking the orders was a happy dude and was friendly to everyone! They had a decent menu but you could customize it all. I loved their bacon it was done right! We loved the overall feel. read more

This is my favorite restaurant in the entire world. The vicious biscuit is nothing but perfection. The line is long for a reason and very worth the wait. The staff is always so friendly and attentive. They also have a butter and jam bar with really fun flavors like maple bourbon butter and blueberry ghost pepper jam. read more

YUM YUM YUM! we shared the bigger breakfast. The bacon was the best I've ever had. The biscuit was huge and moist, really good with the sausage gravy. The Bloody Mary was good as well. The only negative I have is our drinks (even water) came out halfway through our meal. We're from Florida so we'll be back when we visit again! read more

This place was recommended and I'm so glad we went! Everything is so good and the customer service was amazing too. The old school plate is what I got, my husband got the biscuits & gravy, and my friend did a make your own. read more

Used to be amazing but the food quality has really gone down - the chicken is soggy and chewey and it seems like the biscuits are different as well. Used to be worth waiting in line....not anymore. read more

An incredible waste of time. Took 45 minutes from arrival till food was on the table (table dirty and full of glassware and trash from previous customer) food was average at best (I am being generous) overly packed and poorly laid out causing crowds to gather in inopportune areas. Loud and essentially a fast food restaurant masquerading as something special. read more

The Cubano is so good and the biscuit had so much flavor. Delicious food and definitely recommend for tourists!

The food was really delicious and warm. When we arrived there was a line out the door. My group waited approximately 15 minutes before getting to the counter to open. The tables were wiped after each use. Once you ordered they provided a number to sit on the table stand and it was a 10-15 minute wait before the food arrived. The food looked presentable and was good portions. The food was amazing (see photos). We also had the mimosas which were made with fresh orange juice. read more

Amazing breakfast. Uniques breakfast options and good service. Get there early they get very busy

I walked in thinking I was going to get just a plain biscuit But while I was standing In line I saw all The plates go by and became undecided. It all looked so good! I ended up getting the vicious biscuit and let me tell you, it was awesome. It was a jalapeño and cheddar biscuit with fried chicken gravy and syrup. I didn't get the cowboy or comeback sauce (I don't remember the name) I was going to get the potatoes but the biscuit itself was way enough! GO! You won't regret it!!! read more

If you're visiting the Charleston area, or just craving an incredible breakfast, this place is ONE of a kind!!!! and AWESOME!!!! You have to come here! I highly recommend getting "the vicious biscuit", it's one of our favorites and we have come back again and again to get it, weekend after weekend. The hush puppies are also amazing, as well as the grits. You can't go wrong with ANY biscuit sandwich from vicious, they are large, beyond tasty, and so filling. This place is the best! Recommendations: since I've eaten here so many times; in this particular order: Vicious Biscuit, Fat Boy, Chicken and Waffles, Gravy Train, Sea Biscuit, Flame Thrower. Basically every biscuit sandwich is to die for. Must Have Sides: Hush puppies, Grits. PS the line moves quick and is beyond worth the wait. Enjoy! read more

Excellent biscuits and the pimento cheese is to die for! We made a pit stop here to start our drive back home after a cruise (in desperate need of a good southern biscuit ). I got the 'Mater and the boyfriend ordered the Gravy Train with a side of eggs. All amazing and way too much for one sitting (we had leftovers for the road). Very clean, friendly service, fairly priced, and they have a butter bar! I'm sure this would be a divine brunch location. Unfortunately we had a day of driving ahead of us so we didn't get to partake. read more

My husband got the full breakfast, he said OMG what a biscuit (big), and he really loved that you can get spicy added to whatever you order We were in South Carolina a week, we ate there 2 times and both times very pleased. Dirty outdoor tables, menus and flies. Won't go back there again. Staff were inattentive.

First Visit. Huge serving was shared with my partner and we still could not eat the whole thing!

I am not a biscuit person, but I kept hearing so much about this place. I pored over the online menu and thought, "I know what I'll get." I got there and changed my mind. All of the creations are so inventive. I decided on the Crab Benny! Wow. Such a generous amount of crab meat. I loved my sunny side up egg, but I will ask for it to be "harder" next time. Still, everything was delicious and the servers were so attentive. I may be back, despite my not being a biscuit person. lol read more

Ordered 5 different items to get a taste of everything. Everything was delicious. Shrimp and grits was a favorite.

I so badly wish I could be giving a good review but unfortunately, this past Saturday (1/27) was the WORST brunch experience I've had. This used to be my go to brunch place but not anymore. I went with two friends, we all ordered drinks and food. Once we got our drinks, my friend got her food after about 15min. However, it was lukewarm and the gravy was separated. Another half hour passes, though, and my other friend and I still hadn't received our food. It's like the waitstaff forgot about us... they were still walking around where we sat the whole time but never came over despite our number still being up. We finally went up to the register after we finished our drinks and our other friend had finished her food to inquire about our order. The girl seemed pretty confused as to why we hadn't received our food after 45 (!) minutes. Food is good but not worth that. 2 stars is only because the food was decent, although it wasn't as good as it usually is. read more
