My best friend and I stopped here during a recent road trip for a late breakfast. We were so impressed with the flavors of the food, the high quality service and the tasty drinks. I first want to say that I am not really a fan of biscuits and almost never ordered them or go out of my way to eat one. These were something special though. Put thoughts of those dense hockey pucks in a can out of your mind and picture something really fluffy, and the perfect vessel for a hunk of fried chicken and toppings. We ordered a fried chicken biscuit topped with pimento cheese, a side of breakfast, potatoes, and fried green tomatoes. The fried green tomatoes were also served with plenty of pimento cheese and some pickled okra (a personal fave). Big recommendation for this place if you're in the area.

I love biscuits. And I will tell you that you won't be disappointed in this place. This is the second location. The first is in fairlawn area. The staff is very friendly and helpful at all times. The flavors of the biscuits is beyond perfect. And they also have a jam bar as well. I have tried several different flavors here. And can't decide what is my favorite yet. Maybe you'll be able to choose. I think I need to try another three or more before I decide. lol.

Such an amazing breakfast spot. We want a location in ATL and every time we find ourselves under here near Cleveland we make a pit stop here. They have some of the best biscuits you can find outside of the SOUTH . I also enjoy their egg white omelet and perfectly fried chicken. We eat everything on our plates each time we visit. We also enjoy their array of jellies at the self-serve bar. The service is great and the food comes out hot and quick. Any issues with your food dishes are immediately resolved. Great customer service.

This is a fairly new restaurant in the northern part of Medina. It caught my eye because I love me a great biscuit sandwich. Stopped in here and tried the Animal Farm biscuit sandwich which included an egg cooked your way, white cheddar cheese, and vicious candied bacon. The sandwich was incredible but what puts this place even higher in my book is the Jam Bar. They have a variety of soft butters and flavorful jams including a bourbon butter that was my favorite. And they even have alcoholic beverages for those that want to imbibe a bit. My daughter had the Vicious biscuit which has jalapeno cheddar biscuit, fried chicken, jalapenos and maple sausage gravy. She really enjoyed hers as well. We will be back!

It's a neat concept. Food was plentiful. I was expecting more of a sit down service -but it was counter orders and that was ok.

We made a reservation and were seated immediately upon arrival, which made for a great start to the evening. One thing I really loved was the storefront area when you walk in where you can shop for local foods and craft beers. Such a unique touch that really adds to the farm-to-table experience. We also loved that Medina Brewing Co. is downstairs, so after dinner we headed down for live music and drinks, which made the night even more fun. I ordered the Pear Bleu Cheese Salad with fresh pears, bleu cheese, dried cranberries, candied walnuts, and blackberry balsamic dressing. It was fresh, flavorful, and the perfect balance of sweet and savory. My husband ordered the Southtown Burger with fries featuring a chuck, short rib, and sirloin blend topped with aged cheddar, caramelized onions, local lettuce, and dill pickles. He said it was juicy, packed with flavor, and cooked perfectly. Overall, such a great spot for a relaxed dinner, date night, or evening out with friends. We'll definitely be back!

The food is fantastic. Can't wait to try different things. The only thing keeping me from eating here more often is the 45-50 minute drive. The service is the only thing keeping this from being a 5 star. It was sufficient, but I wasn't wowed. Nonetheless, I will eat here again.

I got in my car and drove 20 miles to get to YT in Medina. This is the only west side one anywhere. I arrived 1217 - seated immediately, no lines - server instantly at the table and my diet Dr Pepper no ice was immediately delivered as well as a few seconds later my side bowl of chili. I opted to not order my usual and selected the cod entrée which is broiled and very diabetic healthy and the chili was one of my sides. I asked the server if the chili was hot she said no ---lived up to her answer and my expectations. It was not hot, hardly at all, and it was extremely meaty. I expected lots of beans, but the ratio was a lot of meat to a medium beans and it was very well presented in a bowl over a saucer with packets of crackers. I ordered the cod dinner which came with two sides one choice was the chili The other one is fresh fruit. I'm waiting for it to arrive. 12:41 my platter of cod over onions and spinach with fresh fruit just arrived. First thing I noticed was a fishy odor so I'm not excited about that but we shall see. their fresh fruit bowl had 8 different fruits --all fresh that's why I eat here. So I'm diving into very hot onions and spinach very tasty and the right temperature --tartar sauce accompanies this dish and has to be homemade as it has lots of chunks of pickles in it and it's rather tasty as well. Server JENN was very attentive and very pleasant throughout my visit offered me a diet Dr Pepper to go, presented my bill, didn't rush me and wished me a happy Fourth of July. There's not much more you can ask of a restaurant during lunch. I got it all. Everyone that I passed as I walked through the restaurant entering and exiting, spoke to me smiled at me and wished me a day of some sort you can't buy this kind of service. I haven't been to Medina except one other time this year so I'm gonna have to make some plans to return and so should you. Still a dynamite place to drive to, a nice drive if you're coming down from Cleveland or up from Akron and anything I've ever ordered at all the other YTs I visited over 20 years is always to die for and they make everything right, so you have a pleasant visit every single time. They know how to do it and their business plan is exceptional since they've been doing it so splendid for well over 40 years.

The eggs used in the omelet were not real eggs and they had a funny smell and taste. Actually even my dog won't eat them and he usually gobbles eggs. So when you go there avoid anything that could be used in this manner such as scrambled along with the omelets. Probably best to go with an sandwich, which as my guest stated, she'll get a burger if there is a next time.

They have very reasonable prices, great beer selections and an amazing assortment of burgers to choose from. Our waitress was super friendly and always there when we needed her. There were three of us in our party with two ordering the Safecracker loaded with macaroni and cheese, bacon and a garlic aioli sauce. I tried the Longmire burger with bbq sauce, thick bacon, smoked cheddar and an onion ring. We all had different sides. I had sweet potato fries and they had onion rings and regular fries. All were piled high and both of the burgers selections we had were right at the top of our list for best burger. They even had a nice special on cans of Narragansett beer. I believe you always have to see for yourself so I said sure let's do it. We had fun walking in looking around and checking out the old bank vault. When we first arrived there were people seated at the table in there but they left right after we were seated so we went in to get a closer look and take a couple pics. Our waitress came over right away and was friendly. She had just started working there a few weeks ago so she was honest when I asked her what her favorite menu item was. She pointed out a couple of sandwiches on their fall seasonal menu. I actually was considering a burger that was close to the Monster Mash burger that was on the seasonal menu so I went with it. I also substituted my fries for the fried pickle chips. (Great choice) It seemed to take a bit for the food to come out after we ordered but that gave us plenty of time to catch up. Our server kept our water glasses full and checked back in with us more than once. The food was hot. The burger was cooked as I had requested. It was a fun twist for the season. I liked that the black pepper aioli wasn't overpowering. The pepper jack cheese was a good choice with the grilled banana peppers. The pastrami with the burger was a good balance. The pickle chips were good. I like that they had a dill dip served with them instead of the ranch you typically get. It was a nice flavor compliment. My friend enjoyed her "it's gonna be good" burger. She said it was very cheesy which I was glad to hear since it's basically a grilled cheese sandwich with a burger added to it. Nothing worse than getting a non cheesy grilled cheese. All in all we enjoyed our lunch and I wouldn't see any reason not to return.
