Sunday morning Very Busy. I decided to try this establishment on the wrong day/ time Must be well liked tho to be this busy. I called ahead and ordered pickup because they had the online option turned off due to the volume of business, but in general they don't take call ins. The restaurant was clean and bright somewhat pirate themed. I guess the way it works is you order at the counter and they bring to your table? Or maybe this was only because it was so busy? Anyway the chicken and waffle... really called Bord and Belgian was pretty good. I loved the fried chicken, waffle a little soggy.

Don't let the line out the door during busy times scare you - this place is an experience. After waiting around 35 minutes during the Sunday brunch rush, and getting some directions on how the line works, my group was at the checkout counter. Michael, the manager, entertained our line while also helping out the store, even being willing to clean tables. This is the 11th location and the original in South Carolina often has a 3 hour wait. Wowza! Basically you get a menu in the line to get an idea of what you want. Items are marked with symbols for spicy, fan favorite, and/of gluten free option available. There's fresh pressed OJ ($6, no ice as to not water it down, which I love), the machine is right behind the counter. While in line, an employee will ask how many are in your party and find you a table. He will put a number on it and come back to tell you what table you'll be at. Once you're at the counter, you order, pay, and provide your table number. Food is brought to your table. Water and silverware are self-service. There's also a jam bar with strawberry, wildberry, and blackberry jams, sweet potato, maple bourbon, and whipped honey butters, and apple butter. The food came out pretty quickly. I got the crab benny ($14), which was excellent, especially with the acidity from the fried green tomato. My husband got the flame thrower ($14). We got a plain original biscuit and cheddar jalapeño biscuit ($3.50/ea) to share, as well as the pimento grits, which are excellent grits with a scoop of pimento cheese on top. We liked everything but had to share with friends because you get STUFFED quickly on the food here. The staff was all great, not just Michael but our cashier Natalia, too. Just genuinely kind humans, excited about their jobs, which is not easy to stumble upon. Suggestion while they're busy: this isn't the place to stay for a long time due to the crowds and trying to get people in. We were not rushed out but were aware our table was needed so we didn't overstay our welcome, that's more what less busy places and coffee shops are for. Recommendations: prices aren't on the printed menu and this location isn't on the website yet so decided what all I wanted was tricky without prices (they're on the screens above the cash registers). I wish I knew sooner when to get a table and if someone isn't at the door, some people tried to walk in and accidentally cut, which was awkward. Maybe some signs? Also, more savory toppings for the savory cheddar jalapeño biscuit (which isn't spicy btw) at the jam bar. Overall a great place, great staff, okay pricing, funny sayings on the walls, okay parking if you use what's in the area, no waiting area (umbrellas available when it's raining, if you are okay waiting outside), and delicious (heavy, hearty, southern) food. We will be back but look forward to a few possible tweaks.

Cute little place. Lots of natural light and seating space. I grabbed my food to go... remote work life. Sooooo... okay, listen. I'm used to stuff being overhyped. This was a little overhyped for me. Don't fight me. It's fine. The biscuit is really nice. So you're good there. Nice flavor. Nice texture. For what it is, it is good! No complaints at all. It just didn't wow me. I got the Fat Boy, blueberry fritters, and the fresh squeeze orange juice. Again, all good. My order was ready on time. They didn't forget my napkins or straw. Though, they did forget the drizzle on my blueberry fritters (and it wasn't on the side). Solid 4*. It only gets a 5 from me if I do a little dance. And I did not.

Be prepared to wait. I know it's new and the weekend, just plan ahead. We waited in line for 30ish minutes. The menu was pretty extensive. Staff was very friendly and even helped me narrow down my choices while we were waiting. Food was very good. Biscuits especially, which makes sense with it being a biscuit place! The bacon on my biscuit was very good. Wish I would have ordered a side of that to go. We liked everything we ordered. Just beware that you will be asked to give up your table as soon as your done eating, so don't meet friends to catch up if it's the weekend. We were seated for less than an hour, even after waiting in line for half an hour and another twenty minutes of waiting for our food. New restaurant, long lines. I'm not mentioning this as a complaint, I completely understand the reason, just a heads-up!

As my first experience at Vicious Biscuit, they went over the top! We chose to go on a weekday morning so avoid having a line out of the store, but I can see why this happens on weekends! Our biscuits were all delicious! My only complaint is they were out of gluten-free, so my husband didn't get to try one, but we'll be back and hopefully these will be available for us to try! The butter and jam bar is a delicious addition. Our service was fantastic and each waiter appeared to really love their job and helping people enjoy their mornings!

A bunch spot that closes ~2:30. We had the Shrimp & Grits + the Hen Solo ( plain fried chicken) both were REALLY good. FILLING. Service was friendly and quick. They have a good range of toppings / butters. ( Sweet potato butter ) While I'm not a fan of how much food costs nowadays ( pretty much anything you get will run you at least $13 after tax / top ). I was full / content for the next several HOURS with just the biscuit +chicken ....which is quite a feat. Definitely worth it.

Cute spot. Loud inside. 2 registers. About 5 parties in front of me but moved fast. Seemed busy on this Tuesday brunch time. I was excited to try this place. We don't have many biscuit spots around here. I ordered the skully bowl. It was fine and at the $10 price point compared to everything else I wondered what made it cost less. Maybe because it's a bowl and people go for the biscuits. The bowl was fine. They have hot sauces to add. My only complaint was that it wasn't hot. It wasn't even warm. My cheese never melted. It comes with fried potatoes, fried chicken, and eggs. I could see the cheese sitting there at the bottom. There was hardly any chicken, maybe a tender worth. Good if you're not that hungry. I got the iced latte with white chocolate which was good. They charge .70 for flavors. They do have a sugar free vanilla flavor.

Omelette - I removed the jalapeños.

This place was busy on Sunday! I can see why. You order at the counter and then get a seat. I had the omelette and sausage patties but I tried the biscuit from my friend's order. The toppings bar for the biscuits is a cool concept. The omelette was nice in size and had great flavor. Sausage patties were a little small for the price but had good flavor. You can refill your coffee as much as you want! The employees were very friendly and welcoming. My friend ordered from the gluten free menu and was very happy with the GF biscuit!

These guys know how to make gluten friendly biscuits taste like the real thing! When you walk in, you are directed into a line queue. once in the line queue, you wait to place your order at the counter. The wait time can be fairly significant. The plus side to this, is that you have enough time to look over the menu to decide what you want. Once you place your order, you take a number and find a table. While you sit and wait for your food, you can take in the surroundings...which includes a modern vibe complete with funny sayings on the wall and on signs. The food...u ordered a GF biscuit sandwich that had hit honey and pimento spread on top of a grilled strip of chicken. It was quite tasty! Overall, I'd recommend this place...just be prepared to wait a spell.

There's a new biscuit boss in town--and they're serving top-notch service to go with their Vicious biscuits. I just tried Vicious Biscuit, located off 106th near the roundabout by I-69, and it's one of the newest spots in that growing development. They've only been open a short time, and the buzz is real--the line was winding all over the place. That said, the experience started strong. The greeter was calm, professional, and immediately offered us free coffee while we waited (major win). We were quoted about 25 minutes to reach the counter and another 15 for food--and I'll just say this now: 100% worth it. Honestly, you need that line time just to decide what to order. The menu is stacked with creative biscuit options, legit brunch cocktails, and the beignets were calling our name. My wife went with the Animal House biscuit--a fluffy biscuit loaded with egg, candied bacon, and white cheddar--and she loved it. I went with the Vicious Biscuit jalapeño cheddar biscuit: perfectly crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside, topped with hot chicken, a bit of sausage gravy, candied jalapeños, and white cheddar. I'm getting hungry again just thinking about it. I love a good biscuit, but when biscuits are the main feature, they can sometimes be too big or too heavy. Vicious Biscuit has absolutely mastered the technique. Buttery, crispy outside, soft inside, and sturdy enough to pick up and eat without falling apart (depending on your sandwich--which is exactly how it should be). And yes... the beignets. They're not your classic light-and-airy New Orleans style. These are a little more dense and filled--but rich, cinnamon-forward, and the perfect excuse to indulge in their strawberry jam. The staff deserves a shoutout too--Chick-fil-A-level polish with genuine "my pleasure" energy. It felt welcoming, intentional, and well-trained across the board. All in all, I'm hoping this South Carolina-based restaurant makes itself right at home here in Indiana--because if this first visit is any indication, they're already off to a viciously good start!

Gravy train with 2 eggs over easy
    Mark E.

Chain from south, first store in Indy area. Definitely worth the stop. We arrived at 8 am on a Sunday they open at 7. We had no wait. I'm glad we were there early, by the time we left, there was a line of at least 30 people. The restaurant has a fast food feel. You order your food and drinks as you enter, then go find your table, they bring your food and drinks to you. The dining area is spacious. They also have a butter/jam bar; I will definitely try next time. Lots of biscuit choices on the menu. I had coffee, it was so strong it diluted with hot water. I commented to someone working there the coffee was really strong, I was told that's how they like it in the south. I ordered the gravy train biscuit& gravy and two eggs. The biscuit was so big, the eggs were not needed to give me a full meal. I enjoyed the sausage gravy, but the biscuit was definitely the star. It is easily the best biscuit I've had at a restaurant. That is why next, I'll have my coffee and a biscuit. The staff circulate thru the restaurants so tables are cleared as you finish an item. They were very friendly.

    Loaded Mimosa.

I was excited to try this place! There was a 30 minute wait in line to order, but it was Saturday grand opening week so that was expected. The staff was organized and everyone seemed to do their jobs efficiently. The eating area was clean and tables were turned over quickly. The menu had several good options. I chose the Vicious and it was delicious. I did get the cowboy candy on the side because I generally don't like pickled anything. The loaded mimosa was also delicious, but the OJ kinda overtook the rest of the flavors. Overall very happy with the experience and will be back!

VB has been on my list since it opened and I finally made it. Met my party of 3 around 1115ish on a Sunday. There was a small line outside of the building. We were greeted and offered menus while we waited. Soon we were ushered in to another line that curved around. A line is good sign that the food is good and worth the wait to me. This line moved fairly quickly and we arrived at the counter to order in no time. We placed our orders, got our drinks, waited for the food to roll in. For my entree, I tried The Vicious Biscuit. It's a jalapeño biscuit with chicken and gravy. It was very good. We topped our meals off with a carafe of mimosas that were very refreshing. We also tried the beignets and fried green tomatoes. We really liked all of our dishes. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was bright and clean. I look forward to returning to try other items on the menu.
