What an incredible dining experience at Delany's Tavern!…read more From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and professional, and the ambiance was the perfect blend of elegant and welcoming. We started with the She Crab Soup, which was rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. I then ordered the Dirty Rice Entrée, and wow--what an explosion of flavors! It reminded me of a New Orleans-style paella, loaded with perfectly seasoned dirty rice, andouille sausage, shrimp, and an incredible depth of flavor in every bite. My husband began with the French Vegetable Soup, which he described as magnificent, followed by the Short Rib Sliders, which were tender, flavorful, and expertly prepared. For dessert, we indulged in the Peach Cobbler à la Mode, topped with vanilla bean ice cream. It was decadent, comforting, and the perfect ending to the meal. To top it all off, we enjoyed a frothy cappuccino served with a rock candy sugar stick--a beautiful finishing touch. The food, presentation, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional. We can't say enough good things about our experience and look forward to returning. Highly recommended!

We sat at the bar which in my opinion looked like a better seating arrangement than most of the tables, so we were pretty happy. The drinks were outstanding and the food was pretty good too. The appetizer was probably the best salad we've ever had. I would like to try something else in the future to give them a fair shot, ordered something deep fried while that's not usually the type of food I go for. But it was still delicious. Waiters were nice and attentive and the place had a chill vibe.

For appetizers, we tried the brussel sprouts and the burrata. We all agreed that the brussel sprouts were the best we've ever had. They had a kimchi vinaigrette making them sweet, savory and salty. Each bite really hit all flavor profiles and they were also crispy. For our second appetizer, we ordered the burrata which was served with a tomato and strawberry gazpacho. It was really fresh and it was a nice pallet cleanser after the brussel sprouts. For my entree, I ordered the Alabama chicken. I was excited because my friend ordered this last time and I really liked it. I was underwhelmed this time. The chicken was a little dry and the fried Mac and cheese was really dry. For dessert, we ordered chocolate olive oil cake, which was very moist. We also ordered the hazelnut panna cotta, which was a special. It was good but compared to the cake, it wasn't very memorable. As for service, it was excellent. It's a very small dining room and you do need a reservation.

Great both for a date night or casual business and drinks. Food was splendid. We were only able to try two items but we're very much interested in coming back for more. However, I was surprised that the bar bites and appetizers were still fairly expensive, so the food specials didn't feel like much of a bargain. We started with the coconut shrimp, the short rib tacos, and the bread service, and all three were fantastic. The coconut shrimp was crispy and flavorful, the short rib tacos were packed with flavor, and the bread service was the perfect way to start the meal. Everything was off to such a great start that we had high expectations for our entrée. Unfortunately, the chicken-fried steak (which is actually made with beef despite the confusing name) was a huge disappointment. The meat was incredibly tough, to the point that it was difficult to chew, while the breading ended up being the most flavorful part of the dish. The broccoli tasted like plain steamed broccoli without any seasoning, and the mashed potatoes were just average and didn't add much to the plate. The entrée was disappointing enough that we asked for it to be taken back and chose not to have it remade. What made the experience more frustrating was how it was handled. Neither the owner nor a manager came by to ask what went wrong or gather any feedback. We were also offered dessert in a way that made it sound complimentary, but it ended up being added to our bill, which was confusing. One other thing that stood out was seeing the owner speak rather sharply to an employee over a white towel hanging from his pocket. It may have been a minor issue, but it could have been addressed more privately. On the other hand, every other staff member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and happy to answer questions or offer recommendations. The restaurant itself has a beautiful atmosphere and is definitely a nice spot for a date night. I can absolutely recommend stopping by for drinks and appetizers, especially during happy hour. Unfortunately, the entrée and the way the situation was handled kept the experience from living up to the expectations set by such a strong start. While I'm glad we gave it a try, I don't see myself returning.

The wine list is thoughtful and reasonably priced, and the food is split between sharing plates and individual items. We started with the baked brie, which was an unconventional but excellent presentation of four freshly baked sourdough baguette slices, toasted with a thin slice of brie and fruity toppings. I'm a sucker for the eclectic ambiance of the place, even though it's clear that it's an homage to the original location rather than actual antiques. It was a little loud inside the restaurant, they could honestly benefit from some noise absorption in such a stark space. We got the tacos al pastor special and the fig & brie burger with seasoned fries, as well as guac and chips. The homemade chips and the seasoned fries were both knockouts! Very uniquely flavored and crispy. I especially loved the toppings on the burger, the combination of apple, onions, and brie was fantastic. I'd recommend that and get it again in the future!

We ended up sitting at the bar. And I'm glad we did because the bartender was incredible. I had the most amazing espresso martini made with tequila. He definitely knew his way around the bar and cocktails. You just know when someone loves their job. We ordered the truffle fries with the four sauces. The sauces were all different and very good, but I have to say the truffle fries by themselves are the star. We also had the goat cheese croquettes, Maple Butternut Squash Puree, Truffle Honey. For dinner, we ended up sharing the Baharat Spiced Salmon, Red Quinoa, Sea Island Red Peas, Chickpeas, Crisp Local Greens, Orange Blossom Honey Mustard Dressing. However, as time has passed and some of the "new restaurant" kinks have been ironed out, my return experience has helped shift my view on this local spot. It is located in the business district of Downtown Orlando - which, for parking purposes, can get a little tricky depending on the time of day you visit. However, there is a nearby parking garage you can pay to park in if your street parking luck is low. The restaurant itself has ample seating options, indoors, outdoors, and at their bar. Bar seating is more limited, but it's enough. The staff are friendly, very informative about the menu, and will happily guide you on any of the cuisine and drink options being offered. When the weather is nice, I recommend sitting outdoors so that you can people watch with your meal. It is downtown after all, so you'll always get some kind of passerby showcase. The food, as I mentioned, has improved for me. On my most recent experience, I went for an impromptu Happy Hour and Bite30 experience with a few friends. I started with their Summer Chopped Salad, which consisted of Edgewood Farms Kale & Tender Greens, Cucumbers, Radish, Roasted Tomatoes, Feta, Garlic Chips, and Boquerones drizzled with Avocado Caesar Dressing. It was quite good. I paired it with their Black Angus Steak Frites (Aged Angus Beef Picanha and Hand-Cut Potatoes Frites with Sauce Bordelaise). This was also quite good. And I closed out my Bite30 experience with their Summer Passion & Key Lime Tart - which was pretty tasty. By this point, I was pretty stuffed, so I took home some of my Bite30 options and enjoyed them the following day for lunch. Overall, my Bite30 Experience was really good. I also got to enjoy a couple of their cocktails. All in all, it was truly a pleasant experience. I'd definitely visit again to try a bit more of their menu.

The steak frites are just as magnificent as my boyfriend and I remembered. Have you ever had a food memory? Years ago, my dad made the best steak I've ever had. He passed away when I was a kid, and two summers ago, when I took my first bite of the steak here, my mouth watered... but so did my eyes. It was one of the strangest, most beautiful experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. For a moment, it felt like Dad was sitting at the table with us. To taste something so familiar, something I hadn't experienced in over twenty years, was surreal. That's not a compliment I hand out lightly. So we each had that For this visit, we started with the rock shrimp tacos, and they absolutely did not disappoint. They packed a nice little kick without overwhelming the dish, and we practically inhaled them. Of course, we had to finish the meal the same way we did last time: with churros. Somehow they were even better than we remembered. Crispy, warm, perfectly sweet, exactly the kind of dessert that makes you argue over who gets the last bite. My boyfriend ordered two Old Fashioneds, and I had two Cosmos. Both were delicious and definitely generous on the pour. I was a little concerned when we arrived for our 8:00 p.m. reservation because the place was PACKED for a Thursday night. We ended up waiting a bit past our reservation time. The hostess suggested we grab a drink at the bar, but that area was just as crowded, so we hung out in the lobby instead. The wait ended up being completely worth it because we were seated at the exact table I was secretly hoping for: the most perfect little corner window booth, straight out of a movie scene. It was the ideal setting for our last night of vacation. And then there was our server, Anton. Anton could teach a master class on waiting tables. He was efficient, funny, attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without being pretentious, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what he was doing. In a world where great service sometimes feels like a lost art, Anton was an absolute delight. The Ravenous Pig delivered once again: phenomenal food, excellent cocktails, memorable service, and one of those meals you'll still be talking about long after you've gone home. We can't wait for our next trip to Orlando and our next visit back.

The snapper collar tacos were the star of the show. Easily enough to share between two people, with fresh fish and really good homemade corn tortillas. The fish of the day was also excellent and the fresh ciabatta with garlic butter was hard to stop eating. The cauliflower appetizer missed the mark a bit for me, the pieces were a little too big and came out slightly undercooked. The chicken salad was just alright, nothing bad but nothing memorable either. Parking can be a little tough in the area, but the complimentary valet makes it much easier. I love that they have a quicker option out back with the beer garden, you can't go wrong!
