Had the bag literally 2 days and it fell apart. Michael kors has acquired the brand and clearly quality is not longer part of Versace's good name. The new j c holding company who own the two brands clearly takes advantage of its clients. The customer service was horrific! Absolutely no resolution because I wasn't famous enough or rich enough to care about! That's ok you don't know how much is in my account nor do you know the businesses I own. Versace. Not for everyone, am I right? So loud, so crazy! But, there's no need to be head-to-toe Versace at the Glendale Galleria food court. A piece or two looks pretty cool. And who doesn't love that Medusa head? So here is my tale of Versace persistence. The moral of this review is, never give up. The Versace web site was promoting a huge sale and, as usual, I was a bit late to the party. But the time I got there, the sneakers I've long had my eye on, now marked down significantly, were no longer available in my size (12 US). After waiting a week or two to see if additional stock might materialize, I guessed that "unavailable" only meant unavailable on line. I gave a call to the Beverly Center Versace shop, where the salesperson was nice enough to take a look, scour the world's inventory, and find me the very last pair at the South Coast Plaza Versace. I called over there, the shoes were held, and off I went for a pandemic-friendly pick-up at their small shop. Half the fun is in the hunt. The shoes, pictured here, are not much more than Versace-inspired Vans. But the fit is excellent and the top is weather-resistant 100% leather which won't mess up like canvas as I'm always jumping around in the mud. Thank you, Gianni Versace. I was pretty appalled by the lack of knowledge of the sale associates, especially the one who claimed she's been with Versace for years and made me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about I was there to buy the Year of the Dragon zip up sweatshirt hoodie in XS. They only had a large and it was too big on me. She kept telling me that it looked great on me and I said "I'm swimming in it" Then I said ok. I'll just buy a shirt but I wanted to make sure it was made in Italy. The woman laughed and said all of our products are made in Italy. I said, no, not all. When my Fiancé and I stepped into the Versace Store in South Coast Plaza, saw a tall guy seems like a manager with no greetings at all. Afterwards, I saw him checking my fiancé out from top to bottom with a gross stare. I was saying to myself, what a horrible host. We were shopping for a jacket because my Fiancé loves Versace. Mitra was the sales associate that helped us. She was a good helper then and we ended up buying a jacket at Versace. When we purchased the jacket, the tag price was $1,495. However, when we checked out, the price + tax was around $1,800 ish. When we returned home, my fiancé noticed the price on receipt was not $1,495 but $1,695. At first, we thought there was a mistake. When I called the store the same day, Mitra said there was no mistake. The jacket's price was simply raised and they refer to the price of what the computer gives. She said we could return it if we like, I said to her over the phone no no I was just wondering why. When I told my Fiancé about it, he did not like this as he felt like he was cheated. Consumers shop by price tags and how can they up charged? If the price was different, the tag should've been changed or we should've been notified during checkout. We went back to the store two days after to return the jacket and Mitra, the same sales associate that helped us wouldn't give us a refund but exchange or store credit. My fiancé was upset about the fact and tried to explain more but Mitra had an instant attitude changed and said I already told your Fiancée over the phone and she said no no. I hated the fact that she used me as an excuse and tried to reason to my fiancé that we missed the window of some sort. By now, I am just so upset by the attitude we received. Moreover, if Versace doesn't allow return at all, they should've notified us at check out. Who knew a high end boutique shop does not allow return but only exchange and store credit. Mitra then went to the back and asked the store manager, Leslie. Leslie printed out the price for the jacket from online and said she can refund us the difference or give us exchange or store credit. She showed us that the price online is $1695. We tried to reason to her if that was the case, how come the price tag's price isn't changed? No fault was admitted by Leslie and her attitude wasn't sincere at all nor was she standing in our situation. If this was a $20 jacket, I could care less. But today we're buying a jacket close to $2,000 and the customer service we received is not equivalent. After more talking, Leslie was still standing her ground. She did not care to call the corporate or speak to higher management to help us resolve our issue. My fiancé was super upset and was pretty angry by now. He then called the corporate in the store. While he was on the phone with corporate, mall security came into the store. I am beyond speechless by now. Either the store associate called security or the manager. While my fiancé was on the phone with corporate, he said over the phone that the store called security and he is terrified by this act of the store. I was standing right next to Mitra and she made a huge sound " Ummm" and she had the nastiest look on her face. I cannot believe this. This is not a boutique shop but a crappy ghetto shop from elsewhere. Gross customer service. We're sincere consumers and we were reasonable at all time. When we left the store, the security was still standing by the front door area. I approached him and asked, did the store call security on us? He was like, oh no, a guest notified us someone was being aggressive in the Versace store. If anyone was aggressive, that was definitely not us. The attitude we received was not friendly at all and the vibe is just very negative. We were literally being bullied and given shit faces. Literally, we were the only ones in the store. Cheaters and Liars......! If anything, I could've knocked off all of the cloth to the floor for the attitude we received. Would that be called aggressive as well? We didn't because we have class. Still cannot believed the fact that we were treated like peasant. Unbelievable experience from a high end store. Never was I treated this way from LV, Chanel .... even Nordstrom!!! Versace is my brand when it comes to high end fashion. I been to this location twice this year. 1st I went to buy a belt bag it was Sunday and I didn't know they close early. I knocked to the closed mirror door since I can still see the staff inside. They told me to Come back the next day but I asked nicely if they could let me in real quick since I already know the bag I'm going to buy. And guess what? They open the door for me. I showed the picture on their website which bag I'm interested and to my surprised they don't have one on display. The lady went to their stock room and looked for it. And she found it. (Normally if it's not on display they would just say they don't have it or out of stock). She let me check the bag and tried it on without rushing me. 2nd I went today to buy a the Achilles sneakers. Kien was very nice and very helpful, I asked a lot of questions about the other items I'm interested in and he is very knowledgeable about their product. He gave me time that I needed before paying. Again, this a high end clothing fashion store and they made me feel comfortable and at home. Not being intimidated. Great staff and very friendly. I will definitely recommend this store. My husband and I came here to browse and were instantly greeted by Mi Mi who showed me some of their men's bags. My husband then spotted the Versace Pallazo Weekend Holdall and we were both impressed! We talked with Mi Mi about the material, the durability and the look and we compared it to a smaller nylon version of the bag. Since we were still looking around, we thanked her for her time and went to shop around the mall - throughout the whole time, she was very friendly and understanding. 4-hours later...we decided to go back to Versace and purchase the bag after all. Right when I walked in I waved to her and she greeted me with a huge smile and asked "Which one you like" as if she already knew why we came back lol! I told her the leather carryall one and she was very pleased and I went ahead and purchased it. One of the other SA's went to the backroom and was able to find me a brand new one (instead of just taking the display one) which was of course in flawless condition! The price, $1890 I felt was pretty good considering the materials used, structure and inside room available in the bag. There is also an inside zip pocket that is detachable and can be used as a convenient hand carry-pouch. The transaction went smoothly and we were all happy with the experience. I just wish that they had a store bag that was large enough to accommodate the carryall bag, but we still managed. Overall, excellent first and second impression on Mi Mi and the store as a whole. I may be back in the future to get the Men's Large Pallazo Leather bag...time to save up! read more

While the boutique was on the smaller size compared with other locations they did have a nice array of Mainline pieces with a smattering of Collection items mixed in. This is a very strange Versace location. I bought a men's tank top from their recent collection. First, it was not anywhere to be found in the showroom and I had to pull up a picture of it online that showed they had it in stock. The saleswoman recommended I try on an XXS since it ran large. Normally, I wear a Medium. This seemed odd. I asked for the XS and ended up getting a Small. My item was placed in a weird plastic zip bag with a tag on it that said 'Women's Brief' but in Italian. I speak Spanish so I was able to translate the label. It's as if they have random items laying around and they throw them together in packaging they don't belong in. I'm surprised that this level of customer service would be at this location. Very poor customer service and unknowledgeable staff. Better off buying online. read more

I was in the market for a new bag and after visiting all (yes, ALL) of the higher end stores at SCP, I decided I really liked one of the bags at Versace. I actually hadn't been considering Versace at all as I'm not usually a fan of their designs, but the Virtus line caught my eye. Last night, we walked into the shop and there was only one other person in there, sitting on the little sofa texting away on her phone. I had a few questions about the different bags, so I waited for a sales associate, but no one appeared. I looked around the front of the store for a good five minutes before the woman texting on the couch came hurrying up apologizing for not coming sooner. I honestly thought she was another customer the way she was sitting so comfortably on that sofa, glued to her phone! I thought her attitude was off for a sales associate, and at a high end store at that, but she probably didn't notice us walk in with her eyes on her phone like that. Honestly, I didn't really mind.. just found it strange. She asked if we had any questions so I asked to see a few items, inquired about prices, etc. THIS is when it started getting irritating. After she pulled out the items I wanted to see, she pulled out her cellphone again and started texting. Usually, no matter what store you're in, a sales associate pays attention to the customer viewing an item to see if you need help or just to push you to buy the item. This woman was so deeply engrossed in her texting that she didn't even look up when I asked her questions. I had to repeat myself SEVERAL times for her to even look up and LISTEN. She COMPLETELY ignored me the first few times I asked my questions and would only notice I was talking to her after the third or fourth time I asked any question. No joke. I must have had four questions max. yet I asked those same four questions a good sixteen times to get her to answer. She would ignore the first few attempts, look up briefly to answer once she realized I was in fact speaking to her, then go back to her phone. I tend to be very understanding of poor customer service, but it was wild how lacking Versace's customer service was. INSANELY WILD. I should have walked out and gone to a different store, but I really liked the bag and wanted to walk out with it then. So even after the ridiculously non-existent "service," I told her I would take the bag. She didn't respond. I told her again I would take it. She didn't look up from texting. I actually laughed at that point and my sister raised her voice to say we wanted the bag. I had to actually tap on the glass display to get her attention after that. She FINALLY looked up and said she would go get a new item. After another ten minutes or so, she finally brought it out, I paid, then left. It hadn't crossed my mind to look up Yelp reviews for SCP Versace before heading in so shame on me. One search would have turned up tons of bad reviews for their customer service, but again, my bad. But maybe it's people like me who put up with that kind of behavior and still spend money there that tells them it's okay to treat their customers that way. Like so many reviewers have already stated, no other stores have treated me this way. YSL, Gucci, LV.. not a single shop I went into yesterday made me feel less than welcome. I love my bag, but I will NOT be stepping foot into this Versace location again. read more

Something happened and I just could not turn it down. I walked in the store and was greeted by Mimi, she was so sweet and offered to show me some clothing that are still doing promotion. I tried on a few things but did not really like how it looks on me but I really liked this one sweater that I tried on and also a pair of their classic sneakers. She understood that I am a student and did not pressure me to buy the items right away. She was patient with me throughout the whole process. I came in today to purchase an item with my husband after calling to place them on hold, because all other places that carried that particular product were sold out. I spoke with two different women over the phone earlier that day, both with heavy accents. One was a short Asian woman, whom I'm guessing is Mimi by the reviews, and another a middle eastern woman. Both were extremely short on the phone so I expected nothing less in person. When I got to the store, Mimi was extremely rude and often rolled her eyes. She slammed the item I wished to purchase next to the register and didn't bother smiling or greeting us when we first walked into store. There was also a male salesperson who does not even make eye contact when he speaks to you. I don't understand...do you instantly become snobby because you think you are marked by a logo???? I don't know who hires these types of people to work at high end boutique stores. You are dealing with customers that have the money to spend on the brand. They have a name to uphold. Not to mention these three do NOT get along, as it seems like the middle eastern saleswoman and salesman were arguing about what bags to feature on display at the store. I gave her a call regarding whether or not they received shipment for the men's belt we liked. She checked her system, and gave me a call back within the next hour. Since she had new arrivals, she even went ahead and took pictures of the new line of belts plus the original we looked at, and had sent them to me through text! Rudest sales people I've ever met! I came in to get a Versace handbag repaired. After telling me they were going to "help as soon as they were done with a guest" I saw them help new guest after new guests without helping me. When the lady finally got to me, she said they can't fix the bag without even asking the repair shop if it was possible. I told her to ask them. The lady handed me a business card and told me to call them myself! I was at the Versace store in Vegas and they totally said the opposite! I specially described the bag and damage to them and they said they will have the repair guy look at it. I live in LA so wanted it fixed locally. On same shopping trip I dropped a handbag off at Channel for repair also and got incredible service. No issues at Channel at all. Not this crap. I will go to Vegas and get better service! read more

Versace to me is timeless and edgy. I feel it has lasted well beyond the tragedy of his death. I have a few things I had purchased from forever ago and it still does it for me. I came here last night and was looking at belts. The service was good, really liked Ute as she was low key but knew her merchandise and the history. Could not help but drool a little over some of their fabulous pieces. Gorgeous, over priced but well worth having. The store is fairly minimalistic but they have outstanding pieces and accessories, the store window just draws you in. There was a lady that was purchasing the sexiest patent leather top with a lycra bottom to it that I would have loved in a heartbeat. Now that is something you will not find anywhere because Versace is always a head of it's time. I will always find Donatella one to admire for keeping on with her brothers' vision.
