    The overall rating for the store (3.6 at the time of this review) has been manipulated by Verizon or its tech buddies at Google I'm sure. If you read the one star reviews, they present as technically accurate and numerous. The associates/representatives in this store are the worst. They despise customer service. A healthy racist attitude permeates the environment--just churns through the place. I almost felt hated the moment I opened the door, nodded and smiled at the associate--only to receive a grunt in return. He might have rolled his eyes. After extending him grace and trying to maintain an upbeat attitude, I eventually called for the manager as he was impossible to deal with. So unpleasant. I mentioned that I objected to his attitude, and he literally squared up on me and told me to leave. The manager, standing right there, accepted his behavior instead of terminating him immediately. She said she would deal with him. I'm sure he's still there, greeting customers to this day. I've complained about service before in my lifetime, but never seen a reaction like that--one tolerated by the manager, who ended up being equally awful. So, get this, Verizon sent a letter complaining of my behavior in the store, alluding to my being a racist. This is called projection. In psychology, when you are guilty of a behavior, you tend to accuse others of that same behavior as a defensive measure. I challenge Verizon to post the video from the store indicating that I am a racist. As a footnote, I hate racism and the disparate racist treatment that results from it, and that's precisely why I reacted against the behavior in the store. If we stand for treating people poorly because of their looks, we as a country are doomed. Since I'm born, we've definitely moved backwards on matters or race, and racism is as alive and well as ever, but the roles have reversed. It is now taught in some schools and colleges that the new racism is warranted--reparations of a sort for past transgressions. I dissent.

We were able to get the content transferred easily from his backup, but then it was time to get it set up with Verizon. We wanted to be sure we weren't messing up the cellular switch in the process, especially since we were already exhausted by the all-consuming multi-day quest that brought us to this moment. Since we were just down the street from the Apple Store, we decided to just go directly to Verizon. Upon arriving, we saw many signs inside noting that this Verizon store is a third-party approved carrier under the name Russell Cellular. As long as they could help us with the process, that sounded fine to us. Since all the employees were helping customers when we arrived, we wrote our name on the clipboard list and then took a seat. A couple minutes later, Josue welcomed us and we explained our situation. He made sure that we knew from the beginning that there would be a small fee ($40) to complete the full switchover and testing, but it was worth it to us to put this ordeal behind us. He got everything updated in the system and tested the phone to be sure the number transferred correctly. Josue asked helpful questions along the way and made sure we got everything we needed without trying to upsell us or drag out the process. It was the most pleasant experience I've ever had with Verizon! Since going to the other local location can be a mess, I would definitely want to return to this store if I ever need help with Verizon products in the future.

Sometime, I had to switch to another provider, went through a lot of hassle to set up and restart everything. Five year ago, I switched to Xfinity, the agent told me, after 2 years, the price increased as normal (yearly price increased $10 to $20). Just like what they said, not a big price jump, I continued my plan. What surprised me with all these 5 years, I never had a single problem, everything was running smoothly with Xfinity provided services. Sometimes, I had questions, and went to the store, the store is spacious, peaceful and clean. Greetings by the friendly frontdesk person and led me to the proper agent. 5 months ago, my computer was running a little slow, I decided to change my old router to the store router for a $15 router monthly rental fee. Agent Sebastion is very knowledgeable, took his time and found the best plan for me, not only no increase in price like rental router fee, and my plan will last another 5 more years without a big jump in price. My computer is running like a charm, I'll be their loyal customer!
