I've been a customer for Verizon 30 years. Verizon recently deleted two of my saved voicemails from my deceased father and mother in law. They said they have been deleted permanently. What???? I spent three weeks talking back and forth with Verizon and Apple. Neither one will take responsibility for deleting my voicemails. I'm so upset. If I could give zero stats I would. I'm Im writing this review as I wait on hold. This will be hour six over two days while I try to reactivate my account. I made the grievous error of switching to Visible, thinking I'd get the same 5G coverage - as advertised - at a lower monthly rate. I mistakenly believed that a Verizon company would be the best option for me since I'd been with the company literally since before they were Verizon. First, Visible is NOT the same. It's terrible. I had it for 18 hours and it constantly drained my phone battery and searched for service, despite being in a Verizon 5g service area. After 2 days, I decided to switch back to Verizon. My mistake was thinking it would be easy. This has been, hands down, the worst customer service experience of my life, including hospital billing departments and student loan servicers. I have been transferred from one department to another and back, only to have to start the entire process over again. Absolutely no one knows what they're doing. They just pass customers around. I have never had to beg a business to accept my money. It's absolutely insane that, with so much competition, a major corporation can be so incompetent. read more

My phone wasn't working and Apple tried to repair it for two days. I stopped by verizon to hopefully get a solution to my phone issues. As I am a business owner and absolutely can not go without commuting with employees and customers. When entering the business I was greeted by a confident and enjoyable Natasha. Natasha asked what she could help me with today. After i explained what little I knew, she worked through my phone issues making progress every step of the way. I left with my phone up and running with only a minimal fee of $40. If I have any cellular phone problems with my company's phones in the future, I will be requesting Natasha. This has got to be the worst customer service I have ever seen. I've been standing in this store for over 45 minutes and no one has even looked up and acknowledged me. There are 4 employees and 2 customers. Evidently their text messages, emails or what ever they are doing on the computer is way more important than me picking up a $1,200 phone. Maybe I'm getting old but if these people are our future, we are doomed. I would love to meet the manager it would be interesting. This is the LAST time I will ever walk in this "store" you people should be embarrassed your even collecting a pay check. *** Update*** now we've hit the hour mark. If I had not already paid for this phone online I would be outa here. **update at the 2 hour mark I finally was asked what I needed. I said I purchased a phone online and needed to pick it up. I was asked for a pin. Sorry I said I wasn't given a pin. I showed her the email from my purchase nope couldn't give me the phone I paid for without pin. Dominic was awesome!! He was the rep who helped us. We went in to replace my old phone as it was cracked. He gave me all the info to have it replaced but also shared with me an upgrade promotion which was an amazing deal. He was thorough and knew what he was talking about, shared all the info for fees that would be billed to us besides paying for fees, taxes, etc the day of purchase. He was knowledgeable in the phone and copying over all our data. Very helpful. Awesome customer service!!! Daniel was also there and he helped out a lot, while helping other customers, so that the whole process went smoother and quicker. They both were helping multiple clients at the same time, it was amazing. No mistakes, best experience we have ever had in that store. :) We love our new phones and are extremely pleased with the customer service!!! These young men deserve major promotions. :-) read more

This is barely a Verizon store they're an authorized retailer not corporate. If you buy anything directly from them they're going to charge you miscellaneous charges and charge you for stuff corporate wouldn't. The only thing I recommend them for is to pick up an online order. They can't do anything else in the store even though they have a Verizon sign on their window. Update, Returned the items at the exact same time a women was returning the same screen protector that was installed on my moms phone without her knowledge, (though hers wasn't opened or installed on her phone, but they sold it to her when she didn't need it.) How shocking that this store thinks it can get away with selling overpriced garbage in such a deceptive way. Salutations. I want to start off by saying this is the worst experience I've ever had with a phone service in my life. I started a $3000 credit line with this store to get 2 identical phones. I purchased 2 iPhone 14 plus. That were both supposed to have 256 gb when the purchase was done and I was handed the phones in the bags I was told they were identical. When I decided to open mine 3 days later I came to realize it wasn't 256 gb but 128. I then called to see if Verizon could do anything about it. They said I should be able to get a refund with no questions asked when I tried I was met with a trespass order and sherif escort from the building while on the phone with Verizon customer support. It's come to my knowledge that every phone call to support is recorded so if they deny it the records are there. All I want is a refund so I can take my business elsewhere but being that apparently this branch was an indirect vendor not a corporate store Verizon still can't do anything about it. But my point here is the disrespect rude and uncalled for behavior by the store employee during the time should be addressed because they do still represent the Verizon name and even if in the first to come out about this person now I won't be the last and all I really wanted was my full refund for a product that was literally put back In The box after opening not signed in to iCloud or anything. read more

So I bought my phone here. 2 iphone and a iPad. They tried to activate my phone and it literally took 5 hours then I had to come back the next day and it took another 3 hours. I was in the store for 8 hours total to get my iPhone activated. Not even exaggerating. Next the portable charger they sold me doesn't even charge my phones long enough for a full charge. Waste of money and they suggest it was the best one in the store. Next my phone internet is super stupid slow. It's been slow for 2 months. I've called customer support about 7 times now and I'm pretty sure the phone is defective after troubleshooting every possible fix. For some reason Verizon is trying not to give me a new phone and keeps giving me the runaround. I'm going to call for the 8th time tomorrow and im pretty much done with Verizon. Don't do Verizon guys. Not worth the pain. read more

I felt like a top priority the second I walked through those doors, each individual employee was friendly, humble, respectful and sweet. The new store manager Melanie was as driven and hard working as she was kind and good spirited. For a town such as Patterson quickly growing and expanding to be better than it was before, Verizon took a great step towards that same direction. The employees at this store are very unprofessional and lack common courtesy. The black lady who works at this store has an extremely foul mouth despite who is in the store, such as children. This black lady is very rude, argues with customers, and will actually ignore customers and make them wait while she talks to her coworkers about personal items. The store manager does not confront the rude behavior or language, And spends his time in the very back of the store no matter how many customers are waiting to be served. I will never step foot in the store again because of the employees I would rather drive to another town that handles Verizon. read more

This store tells you one thing to your face and then lets the fine print do the talking once the sale has been completed. They told me it would be one price and returnable within 14 days with a 35$ stocking fee and when I decided to return it I was hit with a 70.00$ plus a phantom 19.99$ fee that the company charges on top I guess..... so after my original payment of 60 bucks I owe them 30 bucks instead of receiving half of my money back. I guess I'd understand if they were up front but they weren't. They are shiesty and are looking to make an un honest buck. Stay away! read more

On May 5th, 2018, I had stopped at the Verizon store here in Patterson, California (store does not state "authorized retailer" anywhere) to set-up new lines of service; a line for myself, my wearable and for my Wife. Associate, Malcolm Hester, assisted us and was misleading from the start. He told us that if we did not purchase a screen protector and case for both iPhones, we will not be able to set-up new service with Verizon. I was put-off by this. We decide to leave. As we were walking out, Malcom says: "Hang on. Let me call my Manager". Malcolm calls his manager. Malcolm then said: "my manager approved me to sell you the phones without the screen protectors and cases". We decided to stay. I was very detailed with the account set-up and made sure I was aware of all charges. Malcolm mentioned I'd be paying taxes for the two phones (I brought my own wearable) plus $20. I said: "Sure, what is the $20 for"? He replies: "for activation". I said: "okay". My total came out to $187.55. Now, when I checked the receipt the very next day, the receipt reflected that I was charged $20 for each new line under "set-up & go"! I never agreed to pay an additional $60 on-top of Verizon's separate activation fees for all 3 lines! I called the store shortly thereafter to speak with the Store Manager. I informed him what had happened. We were also charged $810 instead of $799 for each iPhone 8 Plus. The Store Manager had said: "this is not how we do business" and he'll forward my claim to his superiors then get back to me within a couple days. That was over a weak ago and I have yet to hear back from him. I submitted a complaint to Verizon. They said they will be investigating the incident. I also filed a claim with my bank, Chase, since I have not received a response from the Store Manager. I am writing this to inform you that this Verizon store here in Patterson is operating fraudulently and is a 3rd party retailer, not an official Verizon store. There have been similar reported incidents of the same on Yelp. Please hold the people involved at this store accountable for their false/misleading actions! read more

Manager comes across really sweet,but the staff are not knowledgeable about the products .They didnt even know how to refund my insurance.I had to return since I was told that this was new for them. never informed of the $70 charge to return the product, then the store manager lied and said he had informed me. Asked to speak to the district manager ,was told they did not have a number for customers with complaints.I left my number and never recieved a follow up call. If you want good service,go to Turlock! worth the drive.At least they have a professional staff. I had to talk to several people in Verizon to be told what my problem with my bill was to find out one of the workers added my full balance as if i wanted to buy out when not once did i say that. This place was awesome! Sarah and Alex made it very simple, easy and we're extremely helpful. What I enjoyed most was I didn't feel as though I was forced to speak with used car sales men. Another important observation I made is that these two ladies were friendly, approachable and listened to what I needed and recommended the best option. They also walked me thru the entire process of the phone as well as a detailed explanation as to what to expect in the future regarding my bill and future contracts. That step is extremely important. As a sales associate it is important to educate the consumer so there are no surprises, applause to them both! Although I live inSan Francisco, I will definitely be back to this Verizon for any future needs I may have with my newly purchased phone. The store was clean and well kept. read more

I went in with the intention of getting one phone line. However, the customer service rep working that day offered me two phones and two Galaxy watches, they had a BOGO on all Samsung products, plus for switching from T-Mobile, we would get a $250 gift card. My monthly bill for unlimited was going to be around $200 (including device payments). My bills were coming for over $500/month. When I called, they said after three months the promos kicked in. Two months later, (now month #4), my bill was still over $500/month. I called the store, spoke to the clerk and the manager, she assured me I could call corporate and they would apply the discounts. After calling corporate once a month every month, since the Store Manager Frankie and the customer service rep (I cannot for the life of me think of her name right now) will no longer take my calls, (now 7 months into my account), I was informed the customer service rep admitted to lying about the promotion and I am stuck with the $500/month bills. My devices alone were about $2000, plus the watches $800. I have paid well over $4200. And I am stuck in a two-year contract and have yet to receive my $250 gift card.I wish I would have stayed with T-Mobile! read more

As a mother of 3 small children, I can use all of the help that I can get. There was no need that I had while in the store that was not taken care of promptly and with kindness. Verizon you've done a great job by hiring Gregory, Stephen, Sarah and Alex. They are each doing their part to make sure that Verizon remains to be a good name with great customer service.
