The only reason it was obvious was because the screen was so dark she could not see to use her iPhone. It looked as if the lighting was on the lowest setting but even turning on the backlight didn't make a difference. They should've never charged her and if I was there, I would've called the police on them. They either stole her original screen or broke a piece inside the phone when they replaced the microphone. The associate said that he could replace the screen with a third party screen (which would make it look original and bright again) but she wanted her phone in the original state she brought it in (original Apple part) just with a fixed microphone. They still charged her over $100+ to fix the microphone and now she has to pay $200+ to get the screen fix that they ruined. My mother's iPhone screen was not cracked and brought in its original condition. I recommend everyone to take their Apple products directly to Apple for repair. She also should've known because on her way out, there was a gentleman who claimed he bought his phone from this company recently and it stopped working. There was another woman who was complaining that she recently bought an iPhone from this company and when she went to register it, she couldn't because it was a "stolen phone". These are all red flags and I don't recommend going to this business for iPhones or iPhone repairs. I'm disappointed for my mother because she is older and was taken advantage of. They should've never charged her and tried to lie and say her phone came in that way when it didn't. They are definitely scamming people and it's sad when it's older people who are not technology savvy.

Over the 7 years we have lived in Williamsburg, Chris has fixed two laptops and was honest enough to tell us it was not worth fixing a third. Recently, He came to our home and set up a whole house WiFi network that allows us to have WiFi cell phone conversations all over the house, garage, and in the backyard with no dropped calls. We live where there is virtually no Verizon Towers, so no service unless we have reliable WiFi. We highly recommend!
