Be alert when they show you your next bill ! They add extras into account and when you get the bill you're paying for add on service you didn't ask for like (100gb Hot Spot )$10 each line. Also changing your plan even though your cost of newer plan is less $$$ you pay extra for doing it if not on billing due date (like 1/2 way into billing cycle Paper Work That's what they said . Then you have to pay that bill (with add ons & extra fees and they will not remove those add ons until next bill Maybe in 3yrs I'll look into Cox since they'll beat Verizon prices and would also save money if using both Cox WiFi /cell plan (They all use the same cell towers ) read more

Verizon has gone down quickly. I had hoped to switch from them however that didn't go as hoped. I needed some paperwork from them but the attendant was very rude and wouldn't assist me, forcing me to have to return to Verizon again. I returned and signed in and after a while noticed the store attendant had removed my name and didn't bother to tell me, further wasting my time. Verizon is HORRIBLE! ... I applied for a phone in 2018, they asked a 500.00 deposit, so I decided against it. They went ahead and issued a phone number even though I never paid the deposit and have added it to my credit report. I contacted the review department after several attempts to dispute this on my credit. The first lady I spoke with reviewed it and said, "Oh you are correct, I can see where no calls and no activation were ever provided" She even agreed it should be removed but she had to send it to another person. Well, that person just called me and said no its a valid charge, would you like to set up a payment arrangement? I told her you will never get that money from me; I will not pay for something I never received ... I would HIGHLY recommend a different service provider, they are thieves!!! read more

Terrible Service. Went to get help for broken Verizon phone, was told the wait would be around 20-30 minutes. We then spent the next 45 minutes watching employees talk amongst them selves. When tired of waiting I went to talk to the employee who took my name down to wait and he was on a personal phone call and completely ignored me trying to get his attention. read more

I visited the Windsor Meade location this morning to buy a new phone. I was helped by a 20 something year old female with long blonde hair (she did not introduce herself to me) who was very impatient with me when explaining the differences in the phones. After selecting one she took me to pick out my accessories and insurance. When I said I didn't want any accessories or insurance her attitude became rude! I later found out they make a commission on accessories. We have bought many phones there in the past but I don't think we will be going back. read more

"Door greeting" female left a bad first impression - when we first got there we asked for her to help us check if the phone we wanted was in stock. (previously went to 2 stores who were out of stock) She was on her phone and said "yeah I don't think I'm going to be able to step away from the door" .... there was no one coming or newly parked clearly seen through the glass windows. It took her 20 seconds to open the drawer and tell us yes they had it and then went back to standing around. SO many people waiting for help. Staff lackadaisical and just chatting. Today I saw a phone on Amazon I would really like to have. I filled out all the forms to purchase. When I got to the chek out site that was were ran into problems. I won't go into detail, I will just say the ordering was not user friendly and the personal I dealt with was to say the least unprofessional and I spent too much time on on the phone. I got frustrated being tranfred from person to person and none could help. I gave up and closed the sale. My Wife said why don't you just call 611, Verizon? I explained to her I had started there and they always said make a appointment. I decided to call anyway. I waited for approx 6 min and a expert was on the line. Her name was Anna. Ana was great she listened to my previous problems and said she would be happy to help me if I would give her the chance and apologized for my past experiences. It took her 30 minutes to look over the promotion she had for the same phone. Not only was she knowledgeable about the product, but she saved me a great deal of time and money before it was over. She offered me twice as much for my trade on my new phone, she waved the update fee and activation fee since I had been a long time customer. She also found me a coupon for $100 more off. I paid half the price as other online chat sites would give me. This girl, I believed went beyond the normal service I expected. She did not waste my time transferring me around. She secured the sale and the other two sites list out. I would love to work withbothers that cared for their customers as Anna did. Last month, I visited the Verizon Wireless Store located in the Windsor Meade Shopping Center and received great customer service from Lori, one of the solution specialists. I was trying to determine how to resolve my elderly mother's telephone (landline) issues given her health problems and Lori spent at least 30 minutes with me suggesting various options. I found Lori to be very knowledgable regarding Verizon's product line and able to communicate clearly how the technology of each product would enhance my mother's long distance telephone experience. read more

I've been a Verizon customer for over 15 years and I just moved into the area. Had to go to the store for an upgrade. The place was packed but I only had to wait 20 minutes to get helped. The guy that helped me was friendly apologized for the wait. He was competent made some excellent suggestions and even helped me save money by changing my plan. He even transfered all my stuff to the new phone and put my tempered glass and case on. Excellent friendly staff and involved management. In fact the manager came back twice to ask if I was being treated OK and was satiaified. Well run ship. read more

ABSOLUTELY disappointed in the service we received at this store; not Verizon itself, just this store. We are military and switched two lines over from another carrier in order to take advantage of $400 in promotions. The gentlemen took my military I.D., updated something in my account setup, and told us to expect the prepaid mastercards in the mail in about 8 weeks. I'm kicking myself now because I trusted him, and now we're not getting the rebates. Apparently, I was supposed to input some promo code (which he didn't give to me) on Verizon's online rebate center. Also, we purchased two accessory packages (one for each phone) which consisted of a screen protector, case, and charging device. They were out of the higher quality screen protectors at the time, so they put the cheaper ones on our phones with the promise of swapping them for us when the quality ones came in. They didn't call us when they were in stock THREE times. I know this because each time we called to check on them, we were told they just sold out of them AGAIN. After being yelled at, another employee agreed to call when the next shipment came in. And he did...finally...2 months after we bought the phones. When I went into the store to pick up the screen protectors, he was going to charge me full price for them because we were "out of the 14-day exchange window." No kidding! It took you two months to call us! So, when all was said and done, we lost just over $500 in promotional rebates. If you must go to this store (and I never will agin), I strongly urge you to verify EVERYTHING they tell you. Don't be naive like I was. read more

Terrible store. I have left disappointed, frustrated, and angry each time I go in. I have always had a 30+ minute wait. There is rarely more than two staff members on the floor at a time. I even looked around and there were 10 people waiting and only one employee working while everyone was in the back. I was once skipped in line after waiting 35 minutes, then was told I'd have the next available person, which wasn't true..kept getting skipped over. I have ended up leaving dissatisfied many times. I finally learned that I need a new Verizon store. I highly recommend finding another Verizon in the area and save yourself from this one. read more

I went to this location because a friends phone broke and needed to be replaced. But today I had a terrific experience. I was approached promptly by Solutions Specialist, Nick B. who listened and promptly solved my issue related to a manufacturing glitch. He then quickly and efficiently reprogrammed my new phone and made certain I knew how to personalize all the settings. I wouldn't even give Verizon 1 star as I am Still with a broken phone. After spending countless hours, days, broken "call back" promises with multiple tech and service reps only this last time did I actually speak to someone who seemed like they knew what they were doing (this was over the phone with tech support). Basically no one in the Monticello store knows what's going on. The manager told me I didn't have enough credit on my phone so I wasn't entitled to the apple warranty. Rather than taking the time to explain to me what he meant he just kept repeating himself. Basically, when I started my contract in August the sales rep put that I paid in cash - yes, $600 for an iPhone - when in fact I participated In the "trade in" program as my contract with my other carrier ended. So, due to that HUGE Error I was constantly denied a replacement. When I was with AT&T and had to file a claim I was told I would be overnighted a brand new iPhone 4 instead, I received a refurbished one. I had not paid200$ for a Refurbished one. Since AT&T made a mistake -VERIZON TAKE NOTE - they overnighted me a brand new iPhone 5 which had just come out less than a month before. And, the manager personally apologized and told me I was getting the phone...on a SUNDAY. You see the difference? AT&T cares about their customers. I had to go through hell and still haven't received a phone. As it was Verizon who screwed up by "coding" me wrong, I asked them if they could give me a discount on my next bill, a Verizon gift card and they laughed. Thanks for being a money hungry, not so customer friendly but well acted conglomerate. After my first review I received an email from someone in corporate, dumb enough to think they care. I responded back.....but never heard back even after pleading with them for help. If I had the money to leave Verizon I would. I have been lied to by saying they cannot detect water damage in the store, only to find out you just need a paper clip to open the SIM card, I have been cheated out of money because I sell insurance and cannot use my phone since I cannot hear people and most of all deprived of good customer service. I've always been taught to fess up if I mess up. What's up Verizon? You send me a phone that is covered by what else.... Insurance. Nothing extra. Like it would cost them something to send me a newer iPhone 6. No thanks for your patience. No thanks for staying with us even after our sales rep messed your plan up, our service girl treated you like crap oh, and no apology from anyone for the way our managers explained my so called "credit" situation which turned out to be wrong. Had he been a little nicer and explained what he meant that night, 3 weeks ago, I would have had a new phone. Kudos to all the carriers who treat your clients the way they should be treated! The store was busy, but the ratio of staff members to customers seemed manageable. Yet, I waited nearly 10 minutes for somebody to sign me in, and that happened only after I watched staff members sign in other customers who arrived after me and after I followed one young man and asked whether there was a sign in process. A few minutes later, even though he signed me, the young man ask me what my name was and what I needed done. While he performed the data transfer that I needed, he talked to another staff person, which was fine, except the conversation was derogatory and about another customer. Unacceptable and unprofessional. I gave this store a second star only because the staff person was competent and performed the actual service promptly. read more

I got sucked in to buying a gizmo to reduce bills to $20 a month, but had to buy phone set to use....which meant replacing several phones in house. I do not like the new phone instruments. Bad and less features than my old phone. i.e, cannot switch from "talk" mode" tp speaker or vice versa without cutting off. Store said I could return for $175 fee. Free w/in 14 days. Unfortunately, I missed the 14 days. No one has been at all helpful and very condescending. read more

Kind of a zoo going in there. A bit confusing as to where you're supposed to go when you go in. There are two doors and two basic rooms. One has all of the latest and greatest phones to show off and entice you with. The other side is the customer service/repair side. If you are there for service and don't sign in on the computer then you'll never get waited on. I sat there and watched (someone else was tryign to help her) some lady try to sign in for about 5 minutes before actually getting the computer screen to take her info. My daughter's phone was broken so I brought it in there. She told me to come back in 10 minutes so she'd have a chance to charge it and try it. Once we established that it was in fact broken it took about 20 minutes for her to set up a new phone and transfer the numbers over as well. Service was ok but noone wandering around from behind the desk to tell people what they should be doing--where to go or sign in. read more

By far the WORST store you can go to. Their customer support is atrocious. We had to wait for over an hour. No one talked to us. No one asked what our issue was. We asked multiple times how much longer we had to wait. And finally when an agent comes to speak with us, they tell us "we can't help you. You need to call corporate. Can you say an awful day, I went there just wanting to pay my bill for my phone. The greeter was rude and not welcoming at all. I then tried to ask her for help with paying my bill, but she was too busy txting on her phone. I understand that you work in a phone store, but that doesnt give you the right to txt on your phone while working. So, I then tried to ask the manager for help, but, like the gurl. he was too busy talking on his phone and told me that i would have to use the self pay machines myself, the only problem was, I didnt have change for my 100.00 bill. I asked the manager for change and he didnt give it to me and told me that they didnt have change to give for a 100.00 bill. So, I then had to go to two different stores before getting change to be able to pay my bill. Then, I go back to the store and try to pay my bill and was not aware that the machines didnt give back change. So, I tried to talk to the manager, Of course he was on his phone again, so i talked to a rep, and became very frustrated. thats when the manager finally realized he needed to get off the phone and assist me, but, in the process he rolled his eyes, wasnt understanding at all. I told him my situation and he said that it says clearly on the machine it doesnt give change and that i should have read it. and that they wouldnt refund the extra 20.00 that was on my balance. I then left and went home upset, to then find my phone wasnt working. I call customer service to find out the payment was sent to the wrong phone. Luckily, she helped me and my phone is back on. but, 20.00 is still on my balance. Seems Customer Service works best on the phone and not in person. very very sad. hopefully, when i speak to the GM of that store they will be more understanding and return my money that belongs to me that i worked hard for. P.S.: I talked with the customer service rep and the store can refund money from ur balance. all they have to do is pick up the phone and talk to customer service, although, they dont want to do that, cuz they would rather be on there phones txting and talking to people while they are working. Slow, incompetent, deceitful and ridiculously condescending. I cannot say enough bad things about my experience here. My salesman Calvin was incredibly slow and took way too much time to do the simplest things and was extremely pushy and got me to buy a product that he claimed was "no additional cost" when it actually does have a monthly fee. And then when I went to return it in brand new condition they had me pay for the return, claiming that even the manager couldn't override the purchase. I will literally drive to a Verizon store in Wyoming if it means I never have to return here again. Or better yet, I'll switch to ATT. read more

We visited this Verizon store on in the late afternoon of Friday and were utterly disappointed in multiple aspects of the store. We waited over an hour to speak with a store representative about our questions despite the fact that multiple store employees were standing together and talking to each other that whole time. When we were finally helped, the associate misquoted prices multiple times and informed us that many advertised sales were in fact unavailable to us. We left no more satisfied than we entered having lost an hour of our lives. The only shining star in this constellation of apathy is Chance, who helped us a few days later when we came back. Chance was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and he was evidently interested in helping us solve our problems, not getting a sale and moving to the next customer. To whoever owns/manages this establishment: hire more people like Chance and give him a promotion. read more

I can see in this business why there may be dissatisfied customers. It's not always the service provided by the consultants ... it can sometimes be the difficulty in understanding the products. My husband is in his later 70's. He has never had a cell phone but through his research on line and talking with our grandson he has learned that there are other uses available to a cell phone owner. We visited this location 3 times to learn about what was available and discuss our needs and pricing with their counselor. At the point we finally decided on an IPhone 6S with Verizon service (we also looked at other sources to purchase the phone) the helpful advice and attitude continued. Tim Dawson a store manager really knows his stuff. One evening we were lucky to talk with he and his sales person Lauren. Lauren continued helping us with Tim checking in to reassure us of the services especially the total cost to us adding offers and their wise advice through their own experiences. Lauren even suggested we bundle my Ipad Mini to the phone so we could get an outstanding add-on saving money from another plan we will now drop. The wait ... well maybe planning off hours choices will help. Early morning when they first open if weekends are important for your schedule. We have gone after lunch hour during the week and drive time around 5p during the week. I know this can be difficult for you when you have other demands but maybe talking to someone at the store to see what they would suggest that may fit your schedule. Today when something is a good product with the best connecting service this can be difficult. My compliments to these folks at Verizon Williamsburg for providing us with something that we will continue to enjoy. read more

The staff at this Verizon store are unbelievably kind, and went out of their way to troubleshoot my phone, help me purchase a new one, and solve multiple issues along the way. Several staff members even stayed late to make sure that my phone was set up and I had everything I needed. I highly recommend this Verizon store- they will go above and beyond to help you out!
