    DISH is moving more and more channels to streaming services. We decided to cut the plug. When…read moretrying to cancel service, my wife was told, we had multiple credits on our account. Funny, these credits never appeared on a billing statement. She was also told she could lower our bill from $160 a month to $120 a month for the same service. Why weren't we proactively informed of these 'credits' and the offer of a lower price. What douchebags these people are. And now, they offer cellular service. In my world, you take care of your faithful customers first. This man and his wife should be shunned. No, I am not Amish, but it seems appropriate here. I feel sorry for others who don't have strong streaming services. Our deal with Verizon will save us about $200/month. If you can, dump Dish. They are definitely not on your side. As a final kicker, they will charge us $25 for a shipping box to get their equipment back. And, no, we cannot use the account credits to offset those charges. DISH SUCKS.

First technician to my house was so stoned he could hardly function. The last one arrived with his butt crack showing, left his trash at my house and complained that the 'lady down the street' gave him a bad review! I thought the service follow up interviews were confidential!! Service where I lived before was excellent. This area contractor has left me completely disillusioned with DISH and highly regretting my unbreakable contract!

    They charged me for an additional 2+ weeks after I cancelled, despite me specifically saying I…read morewanted it cancelled that day because "it's their policy" to run through entire billing cycles (something no other tv, internet, phone service, etc. does, just these thieves). I had NO contract. It took 3 calls (during which the "documented" and did nothing) to even get my billing dates (I had e-pay so never saw my bills). I sent a prorated check which they cashed on the same day as my FOURTh call at which point someone finally opened a case, promising a call in 7-10 days. Nope. Instead they sent the full amount to collections. FIFTH call and they are sending my case to the back office, whatever that means. Almost 20 years as a customer with no complaints despite always losing service when it rains and the blood suckers want their extra 2 weeks of my money for a service I cancelled.

Their customer service is a joke. I spent 50 minutes online and on the phone trying to simply cancel my service. I kept being told I had to speak with a supervisor, although I would thinking cancelling service should be something any agent should be capable of handling. The first supervisor I spoke with hung up or disconnected the phone call immediately after I stated what I wanted to do. The final supervisor that I managed to speak with was an online chat. He was incredibly rude and smug. Do yourself a big favor and NEVER deal with this company!
