Do not get involved with there prepaid service. If you change carriers Verizon will keep any money left on the account and will not refund it I am very curious how much money Verizon steals monthly from people that change carriers. How there theft works is, say you pre pay $120 on your pay in advance account and your monthly bill is $60. You change carriers and there is $60 still pre paid on your account. They do not refund the $60 back to the original payment method, they keep it. Verizon acts so unaware this is happening. read more

I went down to the Capitol Mall to talk to someone about my bill . They only open at 12:00 on Sunday so we were looking for other stores of Verizon , since we live in Tumwater we went to the Cellular Sales store in Tumwater, What I loved about this store and the staff they were NOT CAR SALES MEN. We were met at the door by a young lady by the name of Lindsey Lampman what a real pleasure to meet someone who was not selling us something or trying to force something down our throats. She made us comfortable just walking in , we sat with her (keeping our distance from her and the counter).We spoke to her and told her how we were charged so much even after cancelling many lines she got on the computer verified everything, called the people set up every thing for us, the other employees were ready to help if she had a question. She told us that she would call us the next day to see if everything is good on our bill .I called her since it was her day off and she got back to me. This store is worth every minute of your time because you will leave with the peace of mind and feeling good about your self . I have had the worst experience every time I have visited this store. Inexperienced, no follow through their customer service is awesome if they think they are going to get a commission out of you. Several years ago I upgraded a phone the sales associate wasn't willing to complete the transaction because the store was closing and my transaction went longer then expected he sent me on my way with a half activated phone told me it would be no problem to finish by myself. So I skipped the next upgrade with them and took it to a real verizon store. I should have gone with my instinct has been the worst experience upgraded three phones the sales associate completely disregarded everything I said during the transaction and processed the transaction she thought best. I tried numerous times to correct it and was told I needed to wait several billing cycles now amazingly enough they have waited too long to see what promotions I was eligible for and won't correct their mistake and my bill has increased 50-60 a month. I have gotten the run around promised follow up and disregarded by management and customer service. I would not ever recommend this store read more

I had to trade in an old phone and open up a new line through Verizon. I went to 2 Verizon stores that couldn't help me until i landed at this one. My customer service agent was Nevon Aikens and he was WONDERFUL! He was professional and easy to understand and walked me through the entire process or transferring over all my data, picking a plan, all that Jazz. He even helped me pick out a phone case! I am calm and collected when writing this, keep that in mind. I came in today, hoping to get a new phone as my iPhone 7 doesn't work anymore. My families last name is all the same instead of it being the actual real name. Regardless of me showing the agent I am the account manager they still refused to even life a literal finger and try to verify me. They were instantly dismissive after that. I didn't get the agents name but he's a massive blueberry in there you can't miss. He was very rude, oddly like he was just upset with himself. I left and contacted customer support on my mobile app, had it changed but the system there was giving errors when they tried changing it on support side. They put a note instead with my real last name so I could properly order the phone with "zero inconvenience" So I waited in line for 30mins (yes real number) and then was told they don't know answers and seemingly can't help me any further. I tried asking questions but got no answers. It was a very embarrassing waste of my time when I was trying to work so hard to get this done. Remind you this employee wouldn't even MOVE any of his fingers to simply verify I am the account manager. Do NOT go here, I've never received such off service and made a Yelp account just to make this. I'm baffled I lost so much time and met such weird humans with no foundation in the workplace. I went to Verizon today thinking I'd have to replace my phone. It had stopped charging. Instead, Steve checked out my i6 and said it was probably lint in my charging port. We had a pleasant conversation while he cleaned my phone. This took about twenty minutes and when I asked him much I owed, his answear; a handshake. Great service! Don't waste your time here. I was traveling and stayed at the hotel nearby. My S8+ charger died. I came into this store and the guy told me that they did have a charger in stock but he couldn't sell me one since I didn't buy my phone there and he wouldn't get commission on the sale. He sent me to the Verizon Store at Capital Mall. Avoid this authorized retailer and just go straight to the mall. read more

I was contacted by company complaints manager within a day of posting about my experience. He gave me assurances they do not condone any of the behavior of the store manager and the clerk. The complaints manager gave me his direct phone number and told me to call with any questions, concerns, needs, etc. It was very satisfying and I believe they meant to take actions to change things in the store. I haven't gone back in but I was pleased that the company was concerned enough to get in touch with me and try to repair the damage. read more

I had a different experience from some of the others who have posted here. I have worked with two reps, Perry and Jacob, to transfer my phone service to Verizon, and add two lines over the past year. I have found these Verizon reps to be very knowledgable, professional, honest, patient and service oriented. I have been very happy with Verizon as a carrier, and have received excellent customer service from Perry and Jacob. Terms of service and promotions can get very complicated. I felt every detail was clearly communicated, and the best possible deal for my situation was found. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Perry, Jacob and the Tumwater Verizon store. read more

My husband and I have gone in twice, both times we were never greeted when we walked through the door. It took a few mins before any of the employees said anything. Finally someone looked up from their personal cell phone and helped us. The first time was okay. The second time the woman that was helping us transfer a phone to our phone line would occasionally cuss. She was frustrated because the phone line wasn't transferring and she couldn't figure out why. She continued to pick up her own cell phone while helping us as well, she mentioned she was making sure her daughter was being picked up on time but still you are at work with a customer in front of you. As she was helping us an older woman came in and again she wasn't greeted, I could tell she looked confused as to why no one was saying "welcome" or "someone will be with you in a moment" nothing. In the end we left empty handed. I think this location could benefit from a few customer service training classes. I'd rather drive a little further to receive better service than to one that's closer to my home. read more

My 66 year old mom came in requesting assistance in getting her pictures from the Droid onto the Verizon Cloud. She had purchased the Droid at this store. The employee took the phone from her, pretended to transfer her pictures to the Cloud for one min and then gave her the phone back. My sister and I found out a few weeks later that the Cloud account was never even set up. Every time my family comes in with a question about their phones, the employee always takes the phone and "fixes" it but doesn't show them how to do it themselves. read more

My wife and I went in this morning to get with with switching phones. There were three associates and they were already helping people. One gentlemen was there waiting to be helped. In the 25 mins, we were there no one that worked there said anything to us, AT ALL. We saw other two other couples come in and they left within 10 mins of being there. I went in to upgrade to a iPhone 6 Plus and we asked them for the cheapest plan and it still was a bit to much so i told them id be back. I called up Verizon and talked to someone else and they ended up giving me a much cheaper plan and told us that the guys at the store gave us the most expensive plan. Overall they were unfriendly, greedy, and not people i would trust with my money. I wouldn't even give a star if i had the option too. read more
