The selection, service and price have always been outstanding. They get crazy busy at times, and not all the budtenders are super friendly, but that's been my experience everywhere I've shopped. I've seen some pretty poor behavior by customers in pot shops (like blaming the budtender for Wa laws!), so I don't blame any of the budtenders for being a bit cranky. My regular pot shop was out of the CBD cart I use for pain so I called Forbidden Cannabis. The nice guy on the phone said yes, they have the brand I was looking for and was holding two similar strains behind the counter for me. I had left my drivers license at a shop in burien while visiting my son and while waiting for them to mail it back, I had been using a picture of my old license for all the things. Worked at the bank. Worked at the pharmacy. Worked at my regular pot shop, but not at Forbidden Cannabis. The door guy suggested I call a friend to come help me out and buy it for me since they wouldn't let me in. I asked for the manager to override the door guy and use common sense, that I was clearly of age, but he said no, explained the laws were very strict and I couldn't ask customers to buy it for me either. So I went back to my car and called a friend who said it would be a while but they could help me out. I backed my car away from the speaker playing horrid music in the parking lot and parked in the sun, in the neighboring massage business's gravel parking lot. I put my sun shade up, blocked the sun out and proceeded to catch up on my class webinar while I waited for my friend. She eventually showed up, I told her they were holding my CBD cart behind the counter and gave her the cash. She was accosted and accused at the door of doing something illegal, escorted by the bouncer and some other baby barracuda to the parking lot and then they came over to my car screaming that I'm doing something illegal! I explained I called a friend just like the dude suggested, I removed myself from their parking area while waiting and just wanted to get the CBD cart I called for for PAIN MANAGEMENT and they STILL screamed, "You're doing something illegal! I don't know what you're doing but it's illegal! You need to leave, while waving their arms up and down like maniacs. I explained again what the issue was and they could not hear logic, did not think rationally and acted like little programmed bulldogs incapable of higher reasoning. This is why there are managers, but either the first one went home or the teeny bopper screaming was elected to a job she is not mature enough for yet, if she was indeed the manager on duty. She looked barely old enough to work there, so I doubt it. So we left Forbidden Cannabis, never to return, as I was 86'd for following directions and trying to be a customer. While most businesses are accommodating and treat people like customers who keep them in business, Forbidden Cannabis treats customers like criminals before you even get in the door. A criminal doesn't call ahead. A criminal doesn't ask for the manager. A criminal doesn't wait patiently in the [neighbor's] parking lot to get one CBD cart. I mean, technically, the cash exchange (if that was a concern) wasn't even on their property. I do NOT RECOMMEND this sketchy place in Lacey. I mean, they should really be careful because people have followers nowadays... like THOUSANDS of followers. The old adage used to be: Satisfy a customer and they may tell one person. Treat a customer poorly and they will tell TEN people! Now it's thousands. I highly recommend Green Lady on Pacific. Nicer people, parking lot and pricing. read more

I walked in, wasn't talked to or greeted for ten minutes. then when i was finally acknowledged and asked for my license, it literally flipped upside down out of my hand and the girl said 'you made me feel uncomfortable' then grabbed a guy from the back and refused to come out. I have been loyal coming here for several years now and have never been treated to poorly and uncomfortable in my life. I had a migraine and lock jaw and the brunette women is rude, unprofessional and needs to have a discussion regarding her manners and basic customer service. Y'all's service becoming absolutely unprofessional. Management and one other budtender literally called my husband and told them to go to another store because his presence makes them uncomfortable. Grow up and run a business.. he did not steal anything, he did not buy weed for other people, he has never raised his voice in that store. But because he used to work for y'all and you can't get over yourselves you are denying customer service because your budtender feels uncomfortable. We have friends that work at this store that do not agree with this discriminatory decision. They help him out no problem and the other budtender is never involved! My husband is well loved in the community and works for homelessness services since being wrongfully pushed to quit from here because he made ONE EMPLOYEE uncomfortable over a misunderstanding. We order online literally just to make it even more civil so we can be in and out all the time and then when he made an online order today he gets a call from the manager to say he makes ONE PERSON uncomfortable??? And we now have to shop at the other location???? Have your budtender who is uncomfortable go on their break. Don't have them complete the order. We go to this location 1. It is way closer to us than to your second location and 2. Y'all have the weed we smoke! Y'all are the only dispo that carries our stains we like at a reasonable price! I stopped by here on my way up from Oregon, knowing that in WA they can sell more at a time. Their prices online were great compared to other locations nearby. I immediately showed them my ID and from the website, said exactly what I wanted. Jessie was a great help! She was fun and courteous in helping me out since I tend to only go to these places about once a year. She recommended edibles and was really able to guide me in what I wanted. First visit was pleasant. Good to talk with bud tender that was helpful. I was sold a solventless hash oil cart from what I was told is a reputable company. The product is garbage made from hydrocarbon trim and touts to be a flower only company with no trim. This location will not process an exchange for another product. Was picked up last night and attempted return within 12 hours. Really sad. Extremely poor business practice. read more

This is by far my favorite dispensary that I've been to! This includes their Lacey location as well, I go to whichever is closer, because they're both awesome. After I first came in for edible two or three years ago, I haven't gone to another dispo! The employees are always nice and super helpful with picking out new items for me to try. Honestly I'm thoroughly disgusted and disappointed in the blatant disrespect and shady-ness of the cashier I just dealt with. If you use debt there is a 3.50 fee that you get back in cash because of the system used for card purchases. When I tell you this person closet the drawer and told me I don't get it back because I used a discount I was like l... well that's a lie because I've used my medical on top of other discounts in the past and have always gotten this amount back no matter what. I put it in the tip jar every single time. This person looked me in my face and LIED! And I know it's only 3.50 that I was putting in the tip jar, but don't lie. read more

Disappointed in the customer service at this store. The woman in the purple sweater lacked professionalism and awareness of her surroundings. I will not be going back to this store. The lead did assist me after the woman was being rude and offered a discount in hopes to resolve but I feel that it is not worth my time and money to go into a store that does not value their customers time and money, especially when I'm there to spend well over $300. Bud Barn is where I will stay since their customer service is always great.
