I had to call my current carrier to ask them to release my number. Bring some water in case you get thirsty. They didn't install the Sim card in my phone just sent me on my way without clear instructions about when to install it. The rep also did not tell me no refunds on a prepaid service if my number failed to port. They didn't even tell me that when I was handed a receipt there is no refund. Not impressed with their vague customer service. Not impressed with T mobile. There is definitely room for improvement.

Came here the other day with my elderly friend who didn't know how to set up his voicemail. An employee got him set up and we were out the door in seven minutes. While I was waiting for him, I had two employees check in on me to make sure I was being served. That's excellent customer service!

As the rep was transferring info from her old phone to new phone, another rep took the company ipad to assist another customer. After a few more minutes, I overhear conversation between that rep and new customer. Rep having trouble explaining to customer that what customer claims does not match account. They went over the items on the account and costs. I soon realized these two were viewing MY account and discussing terms of what my account consists of. Obviously, the rep had not verified account info with the new customer nor had he cleared the ipad and accessed that customer's account. Brainless! To top it off, once I got home to review my account, I saw that the rep at the store had added a service plan for wife's new phone--we did not request that. Each encounter with this T-Mobile store (5122 Yelm Hwy SE Suite A, Lacey, WA 98503) is a freakin' nightmare.

This place…read morecompletely ruined my phone plans and were "unable to help" fix the mistakes that their employee JASPER made right in front of the store manager Cory. AT&T overall has terrible customer service hence the poor reviews. Jasper did the fast talking salesman pitch that I stupidly fell for. I had an Elite plan that included HBO max (a plan they no longer offer) that Jasper point blank told me that they no longer partner with HBO so I would be losing HBO in the near future anyway so I should go with a cheaper plan to save money. His first lie. He then proceeded to tell me that it would be cheaper or the same cost to add a business line. Second lie. When all was said and done I confirmed multiple times if the only changes that were made were to my phone line. He said yes. Third lie. The only reason I found out that I had made a major mistake is because afterwards I confirmed everything with a friend who works at another AT&T store. Not only did Jasper DOWNGRADE my other phone line plans to account for the "cheaper monthly bill", he made me lose out on the HBO services that I would've continued to have if he had not touched my account and when I went back to return the phone I had traded my old phone in for, they did not reverse the purchase and now I'm stuck not being able to upgrade my phone because their absolutely flawed system thinks I still have the new phone. Apparently this isn't the first time this store has swindled people by committing fraud in order to bump up their sales. This is a KNOWN fact that was shared with me by a corporate location when I went to undo Jasper's many mistakes. I was never given receipts that would itemize everything that he did to my account. Now I know why. It took me 5 days to reach someone from Consumer Loyalty and even they didn't fix the situation completely.

We had to spend 45 minutes on the phone with AT&T corporate to get it all fixed. AT&T corporate informed us that these "authorized stores" often make false promises and add things to your account that you never authorized. Steer clear from this place.! We were promised a monthly bill of $149 but our bill was a staggering $398..... AT&T corporate now has this issue corrected. I will take my business to the capital mall AT&T location next time.

They may be Timberline marketing interns... not sure. If you have the time, go to the Tacoma mall location, the reps there can give you more product and plan information. I went in to get the trade in offer (add a line and trade in a device and get up to $830 credit). I asked to receive a quote for three phones. The iPhone 12, 12PRO, and 12PROMAX which he quoted $140 a month. They did not have the color I wanted, so he recommended me get it delivered via UPS 2day shipping. If I did this I would not see my new reflected bill till everything is sent. I look on my T-MOBILE account the next day and see that TWO lines were added (a one time $60 fee) AND my monthly bill was now $164. I call Art to ask what's going on and he told me he couldn't help me. I had to call 611. And that he didn't even know he added two lines to y account..... Hooray. I was greeted with a smile from the two employees, Adolfo and Hannah, and knew from there, they were gonna help me to the best of their ability. After I told them what device I was looking for and that I was on a budget, they got me on a leasing plan for only $88 dollars down! They explained the plan very well and saved me from having to spend a thousand dollars. Several months have passed now and i was greeted with the same hello, by the two same people! I came home with some new airpods and the visit was just as great! So in short, if you are looking for a electronics, and a good time with some great people, The Phone Guys will help make you laugh and get you the Item that you need!

    Don't let them refer you to Federal Way for a battery replacement for an IPad and they lie to you…read more They said that Federal Way techs are the only ones in the area who replaces batteries. That is not true. I found a different, honest person today at a company in Olympia because my battery inside the IPad had disconnected. The new tech opened the IPad up and found that the battery was not even installed with the screws or adhesive, which is standard installation. The clear film was not taken off. It was just floating around and The Phone Guys also bent some of the contacts inside of the case. Also, I had to wait for 4 hours for them to complete the job. The Phone Guys in Lacey lied, and the Phone Guys in Federal Way did not know what they were doing, and did a terrible job. Don't go there if you want an honest interaction and don't go there if you want a job done right.
