I went there with a "copy" project that needed to be done. I had two things that needed to be enlarged on a copier and a set of plans that I needed to copies of. I was there on a Monday afternoon and was told that it would be ready on Wednesday. They said I could pay extra and have it done immediately, or wait for them to do it, which would make it ready on Wednesday. I didn't need them immediately so I said Wednesday would be fine. They said keep an eye on your email because if they're done early, will let you know. I didn't receive an email so I went there on Wednesday afternoon to pick them up at which time they told me they were not ready but I could come back at 7 PM and they would be ready. I decided not to go back that night at 7 PM, but I went the next morning around 8:30 AM and guess what they still were not done. In fact, they hadn't even been started yet. So I had to wait and the young lady behind the counter did the project for me. I asked to speak to the manager, whose name was Shawn. I explained the situation to him, and he proceeded to tell me that it was my fault for expecting them to be done at the last minute?? I told him I didn't understand because I came in on Monday and they told me I could pick them up on Wednesday not that I said I needed them by Wednesday. He told me there is never a set time when projects will be finished; you just have to watch for the email that says they are finished. I feel like if I waited for an email I would be waiting still to this day. That manager, Shawn was absolutely useless and had no customer service abilities. Mind you I wasn't asking for anything from him, just letting him know the situation. You can imagine, I will not be back to this location or probably any location for this kind of need. Moving forward I'll most likely find another place that can do the job in a timely manner. read more

RE: photo printing services About a third of the numerous pics I ordered came out whereby the images were cut ... either the tops were cut off, or a person or words were cut off on the sides, rendering them useless as prints. I am not a happy camper. I will say they offer good customer service at the Lacey location. But not sure I'd recommend them for photo printing. read more

I ordered a next-day-ready print job at this store. I called the store next day at 4 pm asking when my order was going to be ready for a pick up. I was told it would be ready by 9pm. Technically it is next day, but definitely outside of regular business hours. I went to pickup my order the following morning. Printing department had a really long line and only 1 employee working. Since I had a pick up only, I asked an employee that I saw in the store at the pick up location . She said she was busy doing something else, she'd come back to help me. She didn't. I waited in a line for 15 MINUTES. My pick up took literally 5 seconds. 3 stars for a clean store and a very nice and hard working lady at the Printing department. read more

Never ever well I go back to Office Depot. Their printing services have always been below average, very slow, long lines. I was told the "new corporate policy" is no more helping customers make copies. I just needed 5 color copies on nice paper. "No, go use the copy machine if you want" "But it doesn't have the paper I need" "Not my problem" read more

Website claimed a certain price online. Went to the store to pick it up, cashier scanned it and the price was double. When I told her the prices were different she scanned it again and the cheaper price pulled up on her screen. Told me it was a "National" price?! Is Office Depot getting away with overcharging customers? Their approach seems shady. Make sure to check online prices before you get ripped off. read more

Overall a good store with helpful staff, a good layout, nice selection, and clean but I would avoid the copy and printing department. Their machines have constant breakdowns and issues so there's often delays so you'll wind up waiting if you expected your order at a specific time. There's been a few times I've been told that I'd have to wait days longer than expected even for small orders. read more

Staff is very helpful and friendly. I am a small business owner so I come here often and I have always had excellent customer service. Yesterday I was in as I needed something done at their copy department. They were quite busy at that time and as I was standing there waiting I watched a young man at the counter assisting a customer with her copies. She was an older lady, had many many questions and he was very patient with her and that is why I decided to take the time to write this review. It's quite easy to figure out why the parking lot for this location is always empty. The inside of the store feels like it hasn't been updated or remodeled in at least a decade, and the customer service left much to be desired. As far as buying something goes... well let's just say I can have a pack of business card papers delivered overnight with Amazon Prime for less than what Office Depot charges. You want a guarantee your print job will turn out the way you'd like? I have confidence after my experience that, if you deal with the right people at this store, you'll get exactly what you need. Initially, I was completely unimpressed with the customer service provided when I picked up my online printing order. The final product was grainy and pixelated, and the pixelation had not been apparent in the online preview of my print job. When I picked up my very large, poster-sized print, I made it very, VERY clear that I was not satisfied with the final product, which was already paid for. The associate helping me, who was apparently the printing department manager, was NOT helpful and displayed a complete lack of understanding when it comes to customer service. She listened to me express (very politely) my frustrations with the product I was picking up, looked me in the eye while I told her I was dissatisfied, and LET ME LEAVE, having paid for the print job online the day prior, without offering any compensation or apologizing for anything. I told them I realized the file size may not have been as large as it needed to be; the issue may have been with my lack of understanding in the first place. My issue was not with their services per-se, but with the complete lack of customer service I initially received. That being said, after sending a comment/complaint to the Office Depot website, I received an email and a personal phone call from the store's General Manager, Kenneth Johnson. I have NOTHING BUT AMAZING THINGS to say about this man and his customer-service-centered mindset. He knows how to treat his customers and knows how to ensure they'll come back. He offered me a refund, and --more importantly to me--an apology. So, all-in-all, although my initial experience here was not what I had expected, this store's GM blew my socks off with his customer service skills. Seriously, take your business here and if your job or purchase requires any special attention, ask for Kenneth!! Although my experience at this Office Depot started out negatively, I am giving this business 5 stars because of the EXCELLENT customer service I received after expressing dissatisfaction with my initial experience. read more

My experience was terrific! I had unusual circumstance and both Christina Jones (Op.mgr) & Michael Capaula (store mgr.) were so very helpful & understanding. My step father suffers from dementia and went on a spending spree and was hospitalized shortly there after. Coming from out of state I reached out to OD and that were more that happy to assist in the return of a scanner, printer and computer that was unused but out of the box and longer than the 2 week return policy (more than 4 weeks). They were expecting me and so helpful in the transaction. When life throws a curb ball it great to have nice helpful people out there going above and beyond the call of duty. I never thought I would review an office supply store but this store's customer service is insanely impressive! I went there to print out my wedding programs and the gal at the print desk (I'm blanking on her name but I am pretty sure she was the manager) was amazing!! She helped me get things printed the most cost effective way and spent so much time helping me! She even found a coupon for me to use to help with the cost because I was printing a lot. I took my destroyed computer here to extract my files and have them saved to a flash drive on a Saturday morning. Was told it would be done by Saturday evening. Then was told it would be done Sunday afternoon. Then was told maybe it would be done Sunday evening. It ended up being the Monday afternoon when I finally got the files. Apparently, the employees are supposed to tell customers it can take up to 48 hours, but none of the employees seemed to know that. Instead, they over-promised and under-delivered. And I was in a time crunch with a deadline for one of my files. If they had said 48 hours from the start, I would have gone elsewhere to meet my deadline. Will not go back here for computer help. read more

The reps on the floor were very helpful by printing demos from the printers I was interested in. Didn't try to up sale me something I didn't need. They even helped me carry the printer to the car. I will definitely come here again. read more

I'm not very computer literate and I know I asked a million silly questions but he took his time and explained everything to me and helped me to pick out the best computer for my needs. PRINT REVIEW ONLY ::: I ordered 100 business cards - to be printed same day. Went to pick up - not done. Went back- still not done. Came back first thing next morning, and were picked up by my employee as I am heading out on business trip. Cards look like my 7 year old was cutting them out. None of them are consistent - order is completely botched. I worked in a print shop for 7 years- these should have gone in the garbage. Thanks for a huge waste of time OD. Somehow I expected this, so I was not really disappointed - just another thing I have to do all over again, with 3.5 hours of my work day wasted. Oh, and I still have to come back for my refund... This is a wonderful big box office supplies store. I run a small business and every month I visit this store to replenish supplies. The store is clean. Employees are friendly and they provide professional quality service. Prices for products and services are usually reasonable. My only complaint about this store is they do not mark the check out lanes very well. It seems like I have to go through a maze to find the register till. Overall this is an excellent store employed with good people. read more

Seriously send the copy center some help. I feel bad for the employees here. Always backed up. Can never answer their phones. At least forward their phone calls to the manager. Waited in line to be told that I'm third in line for a print job that was submitted at 10:30am. That's 7.5 hours from the time I sent it. So how do you prioritize Office Depot? If my order gets sent in before the person in line shouldn't my print job get sent to the printer next? Nope, because Office Depot Corporate gives their store zero labor hours to run that place. I ordered a banner from the copy department over the phone on a Thursday. I was told my order would be instore ready for pick up on Monday. After about 4pm on Monday I called to ask if my order came in and I was told rudely, "No, don't call us back we will call you when it's in." And basically hung up on. Tuesday comes and by 4pm I haven't heard anything, (I needed this banner for my work, we were doing an event and I was planning our station) so I called again and was told the copy center was swamped, the man took my name and went to look. He got back on the phone and told me it wasn't there. I expressed concern, I ordered a week in advance and I needed it by Thursday. He took my name and number and said somebody in that department would call me back. Wednesday morning comes and I still have not heard from anybody, I show up at 9:30am and ask about it it, the woman was rude and not helpful. She made some phone calls and found out that my order was delivered to their store yesterday but it was no where to be found. She took my number and said she would call me when she had some information. By 3pm another woman calls me to say they are shipping a new one overnight and it will be at the store at 8am Thursday and somebody would call to verify. By 9:30am Thursday I had heard nothing so I show up and guess what? No order. The same rude woman was working and finally she finds out it is on a delivery truck (she acts like I should be happy they overnighted my order UPS) and it is 30 minutes away. At this point I am late for a meeting and my event is in a matter of hours. I stand and wait. She finally gets it and brings it to me and says "It's all yours!" Like I should be grateful. I get to my meeting and open my banner to find out it is not at all what I thought it was going to be and on top of that they charged my debit card the full amount. I am so upset I wasted my time and money dealing with incompetent people. This will be the last time I shop there for personal or business reasons. I am so disappointed the copy manager or store manager did nothing to make this right. read more

Went to the store this morning to purchase a $300 computer. I knew which one I wanted and called to check to see if they had it. They did. After wandering the store for over 15 minutes trying to get the attention of of someone who did not want to make eye contact or offer assistance I took my money and left and will not return. read more

This Office Depot kind of reminds me of the Lowes in S. Lacey. The associates are friendly, but half the time can't provide you the correct information about their products. This is especially true in the computer department. The associates who usually work in this department during the beginning of the week are quite clueless when you start asking technical questions. There is one guy who yells instead of conversing in a normal conversation tone. I've heard that there is one associate who works Thursday through Sunday & is supposed to be technical but I wouldn't bank on it. It has been very frustrating working with them. I actually had to go back to the manufacturers for technical info on printers and monitors. read more
