After seven years of wearing a Fitbit I lost my latest one somewhere in Santa Fe. I decided it was time to explore an Apple Watch. Expected the store to be packed on a Saturday afternoon. The waits are usually long at this location. What a surprise, less than five minutes. The watch wasn't in stock but with free shipping will be here in two days. Verizon is an excellent stop to see all the latest products. However the competency of the staff is often lacking. Yes I am a 70 year old woman, but despite appearances I am fairly tech savvy. Some of these young kids have a lot to learn and most make the assumption you are clueless. It's an easy process to make a purchase and the store is more convenient to get to than the Apple store. read more

Horrible customer service from store manager Nicole Rendon. I asked about getting a landline for my home and she told me to make an appointment online. She refused to let me speak to her supervisor or call him on the phone for me. I drove to this store specifically because I got such bad customer service on the phone only to get a rude manager that needs to be trained on giving customers respect and dignity. This behavior is why I hate talking to CSR's on the phone or online. Corporate America has a long way to go in treating people like human beings and not just dollar $ign$. read more

I know salesmen want to make their commission and bonuses, but goodness don't be doing shady stuff to meet your goals. We have three phone lines, two on the original iphone 6's and one that was on the upgraded 6S. The salesman at this location took the newest phone, which we were still paying for and just added the new iphone7 to a phone number that he in no way was authorized to do the change on Now if I want to upgrade the phone I can't plus I'm now being charged for two pieces of equipment and only have one of them in my possession. VERIZON is no longer the GOD of cell phone service and actually they're now so big they drop the ball and don't care. I'm leaving them in December when our contract is up. If you had awesome customer service you wouldn't need to hold people hostage by putting them on contracts. read more

I ordered my iPhone7 online and picked it up at this store. Chris Hazlette greeted me and assisted me in setting up my line. First, he helped me transfer my line from another service provider. Then, he guided me through the differences between Android and Apple. The following weekend, my screen cracked and he helped me, once again, filing the claim with the insurance company. The whole staff was very helpful and nice but Chris really went above and beyond in helping me both times I went in the store. BEST experience with a mobile service provider! read more

Everytime I go into the store the wait is over an hour. I realize this is a busy location, so you would think they would consider hiring more staff to accommodate the long wait times. Approximately, 6 months ago when are the representatives gave me bad information which caused an overage on my bill of about $15 a month. When I was in the store a few days ago to talk to a representative about an anomaly on my bill relating data. I was referred to call the customer service line. So, that entire hour and 15 minute wait was a waste of time. I would also like to know Verizon is becoming very expensive. The positives about this location is the store is very clean and although the representative didn't resolve my issue he was very polite. read more

I went here to fix a problem I was having with my phone and after waiting almost an hour I was finally asked what was wrong, not by an associate but finally by the check in guy. He talked to the manager and the managers response was "we could probably fix that but technically we're not supposed to so I'm sorry, there's nothing to do" read more

Overall a decent experience. We waited for about 30 minutes though. They did not have enough employees working on Thursday afternoon, but there were people stocking the shelves and three managers walking around tapping on their iPads instead of helping customers. Store music is awful. Our sales rep didn't try to push all the upgrades and upsells once we said we weren't interested and wanted an affordable package. Phone works great. read more

I know how painful it can be to deal with Verizon. I was pleasantly suprised this time. I went to get my upgrade for a new phone.. was greeted promptly by Richard and he ended up taking of us. He was quick and efficient. I ran Into a snag with my iPhone and ended up having to leave so I could go home and call support. I went back later in the day and he was there and remembered me and helped me right a way. He saved the Info that he had already researched so it made it quicker. He got my phone all set up.. cover installed and screen protector on. I think we were in and out in less than a half an hour.. the store is remodeled and pretty nice inside. Lots of people working there. And they all were nice and polite. A pleasant change! Go see Richard. He will take good care of you! read more

The sales associates at this location are so rude, and inpatient. I tried to return a phone case I bought yesterday, and exchange it for another one. The sales associate I worked with needed to make sure I was an authorized user on my phone bill, to even turn it in... even though I purchased the phone case with my own credit card and didn't even do anything to my account. What should have been a five minute exchange turned into a 30 minute ordeal. Literally just to exchange a phone case... need to teach the sales associate to be a little more friendly! read more

I received excellent customer service from Phillip and Justin. Helpful, professional and courteous. Even though it was a very busy evening in the store, which was jam packed with customers on a waiting list, Phillip went out of his way with patience and ease, taking the time needed to resolve an issue. My I phone in an otter box defender broke when I dropped it once again.... probably about time, I dropped it at least 100 times over the four years I've had it. I received a warranty phone and had a few problems, went to the store waited and then had the misfortune of being connected with ESMERELDA. I like everyone, I'm nice, I seriously wanted to add my husband and have two questions answered. I own my own business successfully for 23 years I am not an idiot.... I actually left Verizon in tears and this girl just laughed. Then to top it off today we realized I'm paying much more on my bill since my visit.... apparently now I have ESPN, Apple music and some other things I never asked for and would not have ordered.... I must have missed the e mail confirming my order that I didn't order, but Esmerelda got me didn't she?! gal today removed all and credited me. My experience has always been great with Verizon this was my first with a person who should NEVER work with the public and perhaps needs some help! read more

My goal in going into the Broadway store was to have someone review my phone bill to see if there were any way to lower it. I have been to two other Verizon stores where the service was mediocre, so I was extremely pleased with everything that happened. I was greeted by a pleasant woman who took my name and told me I was second in line. Not even 5 minutes later, George Gomez, Solutions Specialist, greeted me and helped me understand my bill and various things I could do to lower the bill, possibly lower my internet bill that I currently have with another carrier. I find that often, we seniors are met with impatience because we are not as tech savvy as younger folks, but George was all about respect, good customer service and looking at the whole picture with me. No wonder they call him a Solutions Specialist. Although I had not planned to ask about anything else, he answered my questions so clearly, thoroughly and wrote down notes for me that I went on to ask about other devices such as a new reader and television accessories. Although not ready to purchase, I told George that I would be back to work with him on these items as I felt confident and comfortable that he would help me. He (representing the Broadway store) gets an A+ and I will tell all my anxious-about-new-technology friends to go see George Gomez at the Broadway store. read more

There have been a couple times I've gone in and after I left realized I'd made a mistake and could have saved money. I understand that partly falls on my responsibility as a consumer, but on both occasions the person who helped me in the store neither offered me options or brought it to my attention which means they are either incompetent in their jobs or purposely trying to sell you unnecessary items simply to make a buck. I have been a long time customer with perfect payment history. I decided to use the 'points' I had accumulated for the first time. I bid on an item which closed TODAY at 12:30 eastern time. I watched the bid like a hawk and was the leading bid to the very last minute. when the count down ended and the clock showed 12:30 eastern time, apparently Verizon decided to extend the closing of the bid. This is misleading and a complete waste of my time. Apparently Verizon does not believe in honoring the bid closing time / date. When I sent a message to Verizon, I was met with a generic response not addressing the issue at hand. This is not good customer service. I found nothing online indicating Verizon can choose to extend the close of bidding at any time. It is shameful to treat a good loyal customer with misleading business practices and as though their time, is not as important as the money paid out to them every month. My contact ends soon, and not feeling like a valued customer has now lead me to look for other providers. read more

Save your money, use a different provider. Verizon wifi Jet pack sucks. I have spent well over an hour with techs and the unit has been replaced once. Can't get service at home all the time and when I do it drops me shortly there after or goes dormant. I live by Sabino High . They tell me to live with it no refund after 30 days even though some of time was used trying to figure out the problem. A tech came by the street and tested signal strength and said it was poor. Still no refund or reduction in monthly cost.. So I am stuck for two years. Look elsewhere for service.. read more

The employees were extremely friendly and helpful. I went to the Verizon Wireless store at Broadway in Tucson, AZ and had Justin assist me. I needed a screen protector for my iPhone 5s to prevent it from shattering. He was very helpful and knowledgable about what I needed. He was so funny and friendly, and we had a great conversation. He is definitely the best employee I have ever met at any Verizon store (and I have been to plenty in the LA area and Tucson area). Justin definitely deserves praise and recognition for his outstanding customer service. Even though this Verizon store is not the closest to my house, I will definitely make the further drive just to have Justin assist me the next time I need help with my phone. The salesperson gave wrong information -- said that Verizon was no longer accepting large-employer discounts -- and quoted a pricing plan well above what I had investigated online. I have been dealing with Verizon for over a week. I went to an authorized retailer ( didn't know the difference) and I was helped and understand my issue. Unfortunately they don't have the powers to issue me receipts or refund me. I call another store not knowing there's two Verizon stores on Broadway. But she was able to help but again unfortunately it's into a corporate store. So the next day I go to corporate. The idiot there had this condescending attitude. Didn't go further into my issue. Basically made seem like a liar. He spoke to manager and he didn't help. I had receipts of order confirmation but it wasn't itemized. I cancelled my service (no access to my Verizon). I call customer service and after two hours of waiting and figuring out the issue (~1hr of waiting) I finally going to receive the itemized receipt. I highly not recommend not using Verizon but do not go to this store! read more

My initial impression of this Verizon store was lukewarm at best, as I found the reps to be a bit hyper on the up-sell. However, I have nothing but fantastic things to say about the store manager, Tyson. He was extremely helpful to me and my husband when problems arose and he did everything in his power to ensure that our concerns were taken care of. Wow all I can say is they need to do better. Been a 10 year customer with 5 phone household and IPad monthly. Think it matters ...nope. Went there because voicemail got dropped from my phone with no way to fix from home. Waited 45 mins to be helped and then they couldn't fix it so had me wait in the store on hold w customer service for another 45 mins.. Gets better...let them know this was not acceptable in which the had me wait yet again for the manager who never came out of the back room... Thinking of getting a new phone ? Think again before you go to this place. Verizon and if you do go make sure you talk to someone other than this guy, Aaron Schulefand. My friend and I have been with Verizon Wireless for years now, and we moved to Tucson about two years ago and met a young by the name of Arron Schulefand that I thought was a real stand up kind of guy until a few days ago, when I walk into Verizon for an up grade. I seen Aaron and asked if I could wait for him to take care me, and of course I was told yes, so I waiting my turn and talked to Aaron about my up grade. He told me that he would have to call my friend and make sure it was ok with him, since I wasn't on the account anymore, I said ok that's find because I had already talked to my friend about it . Aaron came bake a few minutes and ask me if I could wait until the 21st. because that was when the new 7note phones would be in, so I said ok I could wait, so he gave me a business card with his name on it and told me to text him be for I came into the store to make sure the phones were in, this was about a 5day to a week wait but I did just that. On the 21st. of September I sent Arron a text asking if the phones had came in, and he told me yes they were there, so I ask him how long he would be at work, because I wouldn't him to take care of me. He told me that he was not working today but there were a cupule of other gays there that could help me out that was just as good at helping as he was. So I wait till the 22nd. hoping that I could see Aaron and let him help me, But Arron was off that day too. That is when I met a young man by the name of Trey, I wasn't to sure about Trey at first be he turned out to be a GRAET Guy and helped me with my up grade. He pulled up the account and said this is not your account, I said yes I know that it's in my friends name and I was in here last week and talked to Aaron about my up grade and he told me that he would have to call and okay it with my friend. Than he told me that it was ok and to come back today Sep. 22 when the new phones were in so here I am. Long store short, Aaron was supposed to tell me that my friend DID NOT wont to do another 2year contract for my up grade, but he did not. Instead he lead me to believe that everything was alright with the up grade. So like I said I go in on the 22nd. talk to this nice young man name Trey, trade in my old phone and pay cash for the rest and go, all is good. Until the next day Sep. 23rd. I'm having lunch and my phone rang and it's Trey on the other end telling me WE have a problem, that my friend did not ok the up grade for me, and that my friend was there in the store making threats that he was going to lose his job, when I ask to speak to my friend, I was told he had already left the store so I need to bring the phone back. Well I tried calling my friend because he is a long distance truck driver to find out where he was and what was going on, and he was not and is not even in Arizona so that was when it all started, I HATE a lire. So I call Trey and proceed to chew him a new one for lying to me. But then I was told that when he came in to work that Aaron and his boss both chewed him out for letting me get a new phone. Well I don't believe that Trey was at fault at all, if Aaron would have been a REAL MAN and told me that my friend did not want to do the up grade then I would have done something else. Now I have this new phone and NO ONE singed any paperwork for it, they want me to return it are my friend to pay for anther 2 year contract. What do you think I/we should do? read more

I have been a customer of Verizon Wireless for over 8 years (maybe even more)! I used to be one of their biggest fans and would tell people they were the best cell company, around, bar none....up until this past year. I have had to replace my HTC Droid phone 3X because of software issues and this last time when they sent me a replacement they didn't notify me that I had to return the old phone. Long story short, they charged me over $400 for the equipment and it took more than 6 weeks to get them to send me a return label (I ended up going into a Verizon store and having them print one for me). I was told by every customer representive that I spoke to that this would not affect my service. Well they ended up suspending my service AFTER the equipment was already returned and they were going to charge me a reconnect fee. I had to request a supervisor, again, who waived the reconnect charge and reinstated the service but acted like was a deadbeat. I have always paid for my bills on time and spend over $250 a month with Verizon...that is a minimum of $3000 a year to be treated like a deadbeat? I am also sickened by the fact that since I am on a grandfathered plan, if I make any changes to my account I will lose my unlimited data plan. Is this any way to foster long-term business relationships by penalizing your loyal customers. Really? I am a business owner and firmly believe that customer service is the key to loyal customers. Verizon Wireless...you have gotten too big and forgotten that customers have other options. Signed, sickened and fed up with Verizon Wireless. Go to Sprint, AT & T, T-Mobile...there are options. read more

This has got to be one of the longest wait times I have ever had with a vendor. Try 1.5 hours with a toddler. What should have been half hour tops turned into a fiasco. My charger that I bought at this store stopped working. Promises of "buy our charger, it's better than the off brand, power boost and all." I had it less than 9 months and it kicked out on me. So now you think, simple replacement, right? No, wrong. They can't even locate my last phone charger purchase because their system is down or in and out or whatever. So I wait and wait and it's getting late...need food...need to get toddler home. Ok. So the rep spent more time looking up my purchase which he did not find than troubleshooting. In the end, I got a new charger without turbo boost because this guy said turbo boost was not compatible with my phone anyway. So the original store clerk who sold me turbo boost had no idea that my phone was not compatible with the charger anyway. Waste of time. Don't do it. You will wish you could gain those hours back. read more

Bought a phone 3 weeks ago and would not hold a charge. Went in this past Friday and talked with an employee (she had no idea what she was doing) and told us that we would be mailed another phone and it would arrive on Saturday. Well, it came today (Monday) and just the phone, no back or battery. We took it back to Verizon and asked to see a manager. Took awhile but a young man came over and asked us what our problem was. Without going into deep detail, he took the phone in the back and came back out with a "new" battery. Saying that it should work now to send the one back where it came from. The phone had one bar used and the phone was not used today and had a full charge when we took it in. I told him that the phone sent to us was dirty (dirt even in between the keys) and all scratched. Was told that they come that way not that they are all refurbished! We felt like we were just being pushed out the door because they couldn't make a sell with us. Such a shame to run a company like that, maybe they need to be train that the customer is to be treated with respect. Needless to say we are very unhappy with Verizon and if we hadn't been with them for years we would switch to another company. Although I have heard nightmares about them, too.
