I was convinced to upgrade my surround sound, Internet, and connected devices. I turned in my old router/modem for an upgraded one with an extender. However, the extender didn't work with the one they ordered me. On a Monday, the technician came in but couldn't connect my service. After disconnecting it, he couldn't reconnect me, leaving me without service for all my devices, which are over 30 in my home. This company uses call centers to service customers, and they're nothing but liars. They promised to make up for everything that happened and make it right. The technician came in on Friday and connected the SAME equipment that was here on Monday. I was down for about five days without service to my cameras and all my devices in my home, including my surround sound, TV, and more. I had cut the cord years ago and went wireless, so I thought everything was fine (my call initially was to figure out how to speed up the reaction of my)until I was convinced to upgrade I was told that what I had did not cover the amount of devices I had in the house. The solution Center they used were too busy to sell me more things that I didn't show interest in because they weren't fixing my problem or getting me connected. Just like the big outage that was read about, my outage was just as bad, but it was just my home. The technicians who couldn't service me lied because they know you can't trace them and they want you off the phone. They're in call centers in foreign countries with my card numbers and personal information. Who knows who's behind the phone? It could be a technician or our salesman, and they act as both and can't figure out how to get the systems up and running and you connected as a customer they guess they lie and want you off the phone and again it's a language barrier. I have nothing to say about this company regarding its services and its ability to service customers satisfactorily. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Look at their stocks and their decline in customer service. Their Board of Directors must be scratching their heads as their wealthy owners wonder what's going on with their company. They need to start listening to customers more. It doesn't have to be "the customer is always right," but Verizon is no longer the big dog on the block. Just like AT&T used to be the big dog in town, Verizon isn't what it used to be, and that's a fact. I see them going down, merging, being bought out, or just folding. They promised me twice that they would adjust my monthly bill this last month, but nothing has changed. There are a bunch of liars who don't keep their word to their customers, and there was no making up for the loss of my services monetarily. They still wanted my monthly payment though. If you're looking for an Internet provider I would look elsewhere there are better companies those that can service you hear on shore not offshore. Oh and good luck to you. read more

I have had service with Verizon over 30 years and would highly recommend them. I just went when they opened the store and taken care of immediately. My cell was getting filled with ads and they were able to control it to a normal amount. They always very patient and listen to my issues. I have left my review two weeks ago but it seems to have disappeared so here it is again. A One star is too good for Verizon at El Con Mall in Tucson. Many problems with service, billing and account control. I had to go in every week for my first two months of "service " with Verizon because of problems with TV streaming and a phantom "credit card" that Michael at the constant behest of his manager to offer me this $200 "credit card" that I never received now six months late. This Happened on my initial visit which after I was told to go home and finish setting my account i remembered I wasn't given the "credit card" to which Michael told me it usually takes two to three billing cycles before I would get it. I never got it. Later I was told it could only be used to purchase Verizon products anyway. If I would have been informed of that in beginning, I probably wouldn't have signed up ! So now I hate my cell phone provider and on weekends my streaming is so slow I can't watch it. Don't sing up here please ! read more

I bought my phone here in 2022. I added insurance to the phone and apparently they applied it to the wrong phone on our plan. Imagine my surprise when my screen broke and I tried to file a claim! Even though we have the welcome to Verizon Protection plan email the day after I bought the phone they say it is our fault for not raking over the bill to ensure my phone has the coverage. Daniel: Amazing customer service! I've put off getting my phone upgraded because working with Verizon on the phone is a pain. I wanted to talk to someone, have them advise what the best plan and options would be, transfer the data, and have it all done. This store didn't get great reviews for their service but I wanted to avoid going to an authorized retailer, so I ventured in. Daniel greeted me as I walked in. I didn't need to make an appointment. I told him what I wanted to do and walked out very happy with a new phone and iPad. He was very knowledgeable, professionally friendly, and thorough in explaining the different plans/promos and I trust I signed up for the best for me! This is absolutely my preferred store. I have had multiple positive experiences coming to this store. I worked with Justis to get a new phone and he was patient and explained each step of the process and made the process seamless and had a positive attitude and was an absolute delight to work with. I got to work with Brenda at a later time to get my boyfriend transferred to my phone plan and she was willing to go above and beyond to make sure the obstacles we were facing (which were many) were dealt with and was so helpful and she maintained a positive attitude the entire time. read more

Went to this Verizon store at Park Place Mall in order to exchange a Google Pixel 7 phone for an iphone. A nice young man named Taylor helped us and was so patient and understanding. He did not high pressure my sister into anything she didn't want and listened to her intently as she explained her problem with the phone. He did the transfer for her and also set up her voicemail while we went to the food court. It was done in about 40 minutes and done well. You rock Taylor! Thank you so much!! read more

August 18, 2018- UPDATE. so although the customer service at the store was great, the actual cell phone service is horrible. We have one of the premium plans where your data doesn't get throttled until after 22GB our service is slow!!!! Nothing loads when using data! Currently we're in the heart of Tucson at Famous Dave's and have one bar of service. This is the norm anytime we go indoors. Don't switch to Verizon the new unlimited plans are a sham! Will be switching back to ATT as soon as our phones are paid off!! Never had that problem with ATT. Check out the photo with the one bar of service and I'm seated next to a window! The wife and I have spent time here over the past two weekends, and not for bad reasons. The deals this week have been incredible! If you stop in you definitely have to ask for Mari! She provides great customer service and is very personable. She went the extra mile to get us the lowest prices and as many rebates as possible. Buying a new phone much less several new phones is worse than buying a new car these days. The store itself is immaculate, my only complaint is they don't have a public bathroom! What's with that Verizon? I had several reasons for switching, their military plan was priced better than the plan I had with AT&T and the Cell phone service has been much, much better. I would leave zero stars if I could. My phone was stolen last Friday. I called Verizon customer service on Saturday to figure out what was wrong with the phone and to transfer the cellular data on my watch from my old number that was suspended. I was on the phone for three and a half hours because the first guy reported both my new phone and watch as stolen. The second was trying to fix everything and made it worse. I was out of a phone for two days. I suffer from multiple illnesses and needed my phone to call all my doctors and update them on my new number. So Saturday we go to this location because the second guy I spoke to decided to transfer me to a department that was closed who was supposed to help get my phone working. We walk into this location and an associate Taylor was extremely nice and helpful. He's the reason for the one star and I will write his review at the location we had to meet him at. Taylor couldn't do anything Saturday so he asked to come in on Monday and he would help us get everything straightened out. Monday comes and we show up. The manager here was unprofessional, rude, had an attitude, and discriminatory against handicaps. She refused to give us her name and corporates number. Which I believe by law she has to at least give us that information. We walk in and tell her we are waiting for Taylor and that we will wait here. She goes "can you guys just come back when he gets here at 12:30?" Then proceeds to say she has to lock the store cause she's in a "meeting" and we can't hear the information. I have a medical condition where I can't be out in the heat too long. We tell her we need to wait inside. She continues to basically kick us out. We sit outside at the chipotle for 15 minutes. It's 12:30 and Taylor messaged us saying he was on his way. We go back inside to find a customer leaving and the door never was actually locked. We were just sitting there and she goes "you know we have to charge you for what he's going to do" my mom and I both tried to explain the situation but she kept cutting us off and saying "I'm the manager I can do what I want and I'm not waiving the fee for you" It gets into a heated argument where she's calling us names that I can't write in a review. By the way, my mom and I both use to work in customer service and the way we were treated would have gotten us fired, hence she should be fired for what she did. So then she tries to kick us out when we were told to be here and had an appointment with the associate. She was just plain mean and rude. She ends up threatening to call the police then actually calls the police saying we were being rude and to come there. I am handicap and said something and she goes "Don't victimize yourself" in a very nasty tone. To me that's discrimination against the disabled. You never ever say that to someone who's handicap. We didn't leave because we had an appointment with someone else and they told us they were almost there. 45 mins later and the police don't show up but I had a two and a half hour infusion at 1:30 so we ended up leaving. Taylor told us to come to his home store and so we did. We will be contacting corporate as well about everything we had to go through. Oh it also turns out we didn't have to pay anything so we have no idea why she would have said anything to try and start something with customers. It's like she said what she said to get into a fight with a customer, to instigate us. First she tells us we have to leave and come back, then she says "you know we have to charge you, I'm the manager I choose what to do" I've never encountered a manager that waves their privileges in a customers face. So we will never ever come to this location again and stick with the location at Park Place where they are nice and helpful. read more

Stay away from this store!!! Had the misfortune of working with Esmeralda - rude as well as absolutely incompetent. We were trying to re-port a number tied to a phone ( had been suspended because phone software was not supported any longer - old phone). She said the number is "just gone" when we asked to purchase a new phone and have the old phone re-ported to new phone. Wrong of course. So we challenged her and said "no" it just needs to re-ported to new equipment (kind of like what happens anytime you get a new phone) but it's not "gone." She persisted and said no "it's gone" and finally, rudely proclaimed "I will not do business with you." I guess by disagreeing with her we blew her mind and made her get combative. Very weird indeed. When I asked if I could speak with her manager - she refused to provide that persons name (gee I wonder why). So we left - called corporate and drafted a long complaint about her and guess what? Problem solved in 2 minutes and new phone purchased from Oracle store (awesome people btw). I only wish we had gone there first. If you've never been to Verizon before, you will check in when you get there, basically the same as "taking a number." These stores are busy, so it may be a wait until you are served. The people here are knowledgeable. They can take care of you and know how to solve problems. They will try to sell you accessories. That's their job. Just say no. (If you want.) They do have some pretty good sales on accessories now and then, competitive with or better than what you can find elsewhere or on Amazon. Signing up with my own Verizon iPhone 5 was really easy. Even though I will be paying more, why did I switch to Verizon? You get what you pay for. I wasn't satisfied with the coverage of the T-Mobile network. In the week that I've been using Verizon, I'm already happier. In the last four days and 2000 miles alone, I've been on some pretty desolate roads but still had coverage and most of the time had 4G access! So upgrade time is here and went to the Verizon store by Park Mall. Had a GREAT experience. Met with Jessica, who talked me through all the pros and cons of iPhone versus Samsung. I took up a lot of her time but she was more than patient with the multitude of inane questions I asked. She even walked me through all the phone cases and accessories available (I've made some poor choices in the past - both with phone cases and boyfriends). My sister and I bogo'd some phones 2 years ago. As a result we had an account with both of us on it which the contract being over on the phones we wanted to split into two accounts. So we went to the store.The first thing was that they can't split the accounts at the store you have to call the special number. So we sat in the car and called the number and frankly the person who helped us was quite good. But I wanted to look at some phones so I went back into the store. I wasn't here for a big issue. I honestly just needed to activate a line. After speaking to a representative over the phone; he suggested that I go to a Verizon Store to be assisted properly. After looking online, this was the closest to my home on the East Side. This store is in the same parking lot as Peter Piper Pizza. I needed to activate a phone line and was told by the Verizon 1800 Customer Service Representative that I needed to bring a photo ID, original copy of my Power of Attorney, and all 7 Hocruxes. Just kidding! Customer Service was great. I was asked why I was in their store immediately after entering. I waited less than 5 minutes and was out of there shortly afterwards. The employee that assisted me was friendly and helpful. She looked at my ID and turned ON the phone line. She didn't need to see any of the other stuff, go figure! read more

Horrible Service. I came to this location 4 weeks ago because I kept getting texts about trading my phone in. I came in and said I would only do it if my bill wasn't affected. I traded my phone in with Isaiah and was promised my bill would not be affected, he told me to ship my old phone within two weeks. I got my bill 4 weeks later and my bill went up... apparently my trade in only covered part of the cost of my new phone and now I'm stuck with an increased phone bill. I spent hours on the phone with customer service, they explained the trade in details which were NOT explained or shown to me originally and told me to go to the store for help. I wasted my time going back to the store, and explained that this wasn't what I signed up for and that the original sales man didn't explain any of this to me. I basically just got a "sorry" and they can't do anything about it. I was lied to, and the management here apparently thinks that's a fine way of doing business. I'm going home empty handed and very unhappy. I went into this store today to upgrade two phones on my account. The person that greeted us told us in a bored tone that it would be "over an hour". We asked if we could leave and come back. He said sure, as long as we got back before they close. We grabbed dinner and were back in under 30 minutes. The new person told us that they'd skipped us since we were gone. We said hey, we were told over an hour! She could obviously care less. Just shrugged and said "people left". Then she tried to get us to make an appointment for the next day. We declined and got put back on the bottom of the list... So, we waited over an hour, funny how they were accurate this time. Finally, another very bored guy came over to help us. I asked if they had the note 5 in black on display anywhere I wanted to see it. He said he didn't know.. What? Ok, whatever. We told him what we wanted. Well guess what, they don't have it. Wtf? Some vague apologies and we left. You know what the worst part was? This review isn't about the call quality Verizon provides. I have never had a problem with call quality, they have always exceeded my expectations. This is about customer service, or lack thereof. My husband and I came into the store and stood in the front of the store waiting for someone to greet us, since we know that someone has to take our name. When after 4 minutes no one came up, we went to the customer service clerk, who told us we needed to sign in. She led us back to the front, where a woman with a tablet told us we "snuck" past her. My husband told her its difficult to sneak past someone when you're standing still. Anyways, long story short...we waited for an HOUR on a monday night to speak with someone. After waiting, they told us they didn't do repairs in the store and offered us no other solution. Essentially, they're all pretty useless. In three visits to this store I spent 8 hours at their "mercy." This is not an exaggeration. At the end of one of my visits (05/16/2015) I decided to buy my fiance a gift, assured I would get two day shipping. Today is July 10th, 2015. I still haven't received my accessory. I still haven't received a refund. I am currently in my 67th minute on hold for a supervisor whom I was told was just finishing up with a customer. You might be asking yourself "Why would you stand to wait that long on the phone? Why don't you just hang up?!" The answer is that I have called 5 times before, each time being assured I would get a call back from a manager and that HAS NOT HAPPENED ONCE! Additionally, the national "customer service" line said they aren't able to help me because THIS was the store that took my money and they would be the ones to rectify the situation. The greater asks me if I had an appointment, which I replied no, I was not aware they were going by appointment only, he replied it's recommended but I could still be seen. Precedes to get my information, we are outside the store. Asked if I had a face mask, I committed that the Governor of AZ yesterday lifted the rules of having to wear one, in which he rudely replied this is Verizon, not AZ, in which I replied back...no this is a Verizon store in AZ.. I thought this was a extremely rude comment to say to a customer. Now if he had worded it as it's still a Verizon store policy that face mask's are required to be worn as they have that right to require it in their place of business, then I may have taken the comment differently and chose to do business there at that location, however I did not appreciate his cocky attitude. Your management needs to employ or retrain their employees on using tactful conversations. I left the store because I don't appreciate working with rude people. I work in the medical field and the customer in front of me in the line speaks up that she also is a Registered Nurse and the face masks do not protect people like the government chooses people to believe. My husband and I decided to switch to Verizon from AT&T when we realized that our calls were constantly dropping or not going through at all. I love a smartphone, but when it doesn't work as a PHONE, that's a problem. We checked the coverage map on the Verizon website, sucked up the ETF for AT&T, and headed to the Verizon store. When you step into the store, you're greeted by a person with a tablet, who takes your name and adds you to the queue, which is displayed on big monitors around the store. When our turn was up (and it didn't take us long at all on a busy Saturday), we chatted with the saleslady, let her know we'd done our research, and got all signed up for everything with no issues at all. Sure, there was the usual up-sell on accessories, but when we politely declined, that was it, no pressure or anything. It's nice to shop somewhere that doesn't hassle you when you know what you want already! The only bump in the road was the activation process. The store's system was swamped with all of the iPhone 5 activations, and it took 20-30 minutes to activate each of the two phones. Husband and I grabbed a bench, hung out for 45, and were on our merry way. So far, no trouble with the calls and data, and the package gives us way more stuff for a couple of bucks more than we used to spend. Overall, it seems like the swap was a good one, and the people at the Verizon store made it easy. read more
