After putting it off for several months, I was finally forced to replace my old phone (it stopped accepting/making calls). Milah was extremely helpful and patient, considering that setting up my new phone took a little longer than usual because of the state my old phone was in. Milah was fantastic and made my experience more like visiting an old friend! I had to visit the store a couple of times afterward (no issues) and Dom and Tyrell were also very friendly and helpful! Went to the store to work on my refund. Checked there were 5 people ahead of me. Two associates working the floor, one just checking you in and just sitting there. I have seen one gentleman come out from the back and help one customer and then disappear again to the back. I understand buying a phone takes a long time but the guy checking people in could be doing something to help customers out. Then another guy shows up helps a customer then disappears again to the back. Finally after 50 minutes an associate comes to help me. She gets on the phone and the representative tells me I will have to wait 15 more days till my check is cut. Not the answer I was looking for. I do not understand why it takes over a month to cut a refund check to their customers. read more

Just had a wonderful experience with Stephanie. Instead of paying for two phones at two different companies she suggested I just add a line for a much cheaper price than what I'm paying for AT&T. I live in an area in Temple, Texas that we hit by a F2 tornado. I went several days later to our Verizon store and got a new phone. The employees at our local Verizon were amazing. We did not have Wifi at our house. They let us sit in their office and transfer all of our information from our old phone to the new one. read more

My grandma and I went here to have her phone fixed the rep was very rude and short with us . We asked about the bill which is 3x what other competitors offer maybe cause outdated package. I would give them 0 stars but you have to give them at least one. I am a disabled veteran on a fixed income been with Verizon Ripoff service for several years now but with hidden fees and other things my bill is now $170 a month for one phone and a tablet most other places would charge $75-80 a month but no matter what whenever you decide to change services because they don't have contacts anymore you will always owe $350 on your phone and $250 on your tablet so either you pay $170 per month or you have to pay $600 to go to another company so my advice to anyone stay away from Verizon! read more

Easy to find, on the corner at the intersection of two major roads. Parking is reasonable, once you navigate past Cracker Barrel. I've been here twice and I've had an excellent experience both times. I have been with Verizon for many years. I use to think the Verizon store in Waco was bad but the Verizon in Temple has ever surpassed the Verizon in Waco. Temple Verizon at one time was the best Verizon in the US. The majority of staff have no clue to what they are doing. i only know a few there that are very good. Verizon itself is no longer the company that use to really work with the customers. The way it is now , the customer feels as if we are putting the verizon people in this store out by what we may need. if it is not getting them a commission then screw the customer. Very slow customer service. Normal wait time at least 1 hour. They need employees that help customers with new service and then they need the ones that do all the quick problems, like activating a new phone. Sometimes you will see employees walking around doing nothing with 10 people waiting for help. Either they are real short handed or don't really care and a lot of times they are shooting the bull with each other instead of helping people. One time we grabbed and employee that was walking around and talking to other employees, and he said "Oh I am on my lunch, you will have to get someone else to help you" It wouldn't hurt for your people to wait to go to lunch , especially if the waiting room is full. I have been at my job 32 years and if you are busy or I have someone in my office, I go to lunch when I am finished, not as scheduled. read more

After being on the phone for some time with Tech support to fix my grandmother's phone, I was instructed to go to a corporate store to have my phone inspected before I could be assisted with a warranty claim this past Thursday night. The tech on the phone called the store ahead of time, so they were aware of my arrival just before closing. Bailey assisted me in completing a warranty claim, even though it took her some extra time after the 8pm closing time, just to make sure I didn't have to go through any future hassle. I went to two verizon stores both were rude and crude. I have been a customer for 18 years and I moving to sprint since verizon no longer wants my business. At this store I waited for 2 hours and when my turn came up they skipped me and went to the five people behind me in line. when I complained they said they couldn't find me. I was sitting right in front of them at the front desk. They never called my name or anything other then saying I would have to be logged in again and weight. read more

Highly unprofessional, I upgraded a phone through Best Buy because they had the one I wanted in stock and Verizon didn't for a few weeks. I have upgraded at Best Buy before and never had an issue. I never received a return label to return my Verizon phone which needs to be returned due to the early upgrade after 12 months. Best Buy was having an issue and couldn't get the return label to work so they directed me to Verizon to get one since the phone goes back to Verizon anyways. I go into the Verizon store and explain this. The first gentleman clearly doesn't know much about his job and just stares at me lost and not understanding but goes back to talk to his manager. He comes back and tells me to go to Best Buy since they are the ones taking back the phone. I explain to him that this is not the case, the phone goes to Verizon and has to be arrived at the Verizon warehouse, and I just need the return label. He then tells me that I should have just upgraded with Verizon and not a third party and I wouldn't have this issue. So now enter the manager and this employee just disappears. The manager tells me the same thing that I shouldn't have upgraded at a third party and there is nothing Verizon can do for me. I once again explain to the gentleman, that Verizon, your company the one that your representing, needs the phone back, and that the phone goes back to the Verizon warehouse, therefore I just need a return label. He then proceeds to tell me that because it was done at a third party we won't even be able to see the order and process a return order. This is funny because sitting there I can see on the Verizon app the exact order number. I ended up getting it resolved in 30 second by calling the Verizon customer service who understood everything I said and sent me out a return box and label. She also informed me that the store could also do this for me, to which I told my story. She said that the manager is a complete liar and any corporate store can see the same things she can and can setup the return. This store clearly has no desire to help people with their Verizon account unless they can get a sale, otherwise they want nothing to do with you and will go out to punish you if you go through a third party like Best Buy, even when they can't even properly stock their merchandise in the first place. It's a shame to because I just upgraded my device and been with them for years and added three lines for my family. Hello, I recently visited this store to get a new phone. I have an unlimited data plan. Instead of helping me for what I asked, the first thing the girl Rachel and her friend did was click on the data tab on their tablet and tell me why I needed the "other plan". According to the order takers at this store, I lose my unlimited data plan when I upgrade to a new phone. The only way around this is to pay full price for one and keep the existing plan. I asked them to find the literature in the contract that specifically said this , which to no surprise they could not find? The result of my visit to the temple store was incompetence, poor service, and a lack of trust and loyalty I have for Verizon. Customers of Verizon beware, don't buy into their persuasion until you do you homework from other sources and especially beware of their employees who are told what to say. read more

Me and my families were treated very rudely and unprofessionally at the store. My mother in law moved from DC. She was tricked by Verizon at DC to enroll in a 16G data plan and charged over $300 a month for her internet fee. FYI she is a 70 years old lady who doesn't even use a computer very much. She never watches video or play video games. She doesn't listen to music nor Facebook online. So I don't know what the F* she needs a 16G for. Whatever, we decided to go to Verizon at Temple to fix this problem. There is a pregnant rude black woman, I don't remember her name anymore. I asked her whether we can find out how much we are going to pay for this billing cycle and her reply was "there is no way i can find it out." (Bullshit.) Whatever, so I rephrased my question to "how much data she used this month" and her reply was "I can't find it out." (Bullshit again.) I wasn't very happy at this point. Let's use common sense, please tell me how can a carrier "can't find out" how much data their customer used within one billing cycle. She was full of shit and she even knows she is full of shit. My mother-in-law already being mistreated previously and now this pregnant woman was trying to bullshit again. I can't stop but wondering how many elderly were being mistreated like this because they are not familiar with modern technology. I wasn't happy and confronted her. The only reason I even give them 1 star was because their manager came and politely answered our questions and helped us solve this issue. He reassures me his employee "wasn't intent to be rude". The point is first, how can he knows what that woman was thinking or intending to do. Second, what one intends to do is different than what one really did. If this 2 concepts can be treated the same, then all the murders can easily say "I wasn't mean to kill that person" and they will all get off the hook. Which is stupid and changing subjects. I feel like it takes good people skills and personality to work in customer service. If you don't like to work with people and help people, work at other industries. Personally I will never go back to this store. One last thing I want to point out is that please remember we will all get old one day. So please show some respect to the elderly. read more
