Overpromise, underdeliver. I scheduled an appointment to have the screen repaired on my Fold 7. They called beforehand and told me they needed to order the part. Completely understandable. Tuesday, I got a call saying the part should arrive Wednesday. Cool. Thursday, they called and confirmed the part was in. Great. I scheduled the repair for Saturday. I showed up Saturday for my scheduled appointment, only to be told, "We sold the part to another customer. We'll need to order another one." Nope. Why schedule my repair and confirm the part is in if you're going to sell that same part to someone else before my appointment? I was patient while the part was ordered and waited several days for my scheduled repair. Selling the part that was supposed to be used for my appointment is just poor service and poor inventory management. Definitely an overpromise, underdeliver experience. read more

I took my cell there to get the screen fixed and indeed they fixed it and yes they were nice about it when speaking, however, I was quoted 4 hours and unfortunately, it was more, so I thought fine whatever. Later that day I got it back but I noticed the lighting was off and it flickered sometimes (It never did that before even while the screen was cracked for 3 months) so I took it back the next day before noon and they said they would open it back up to see what's up. I told them I needed back by today. I show up later and it turns out they fixed something else on my cell without notifying me first and they wanted me to pay for it! I told them I didn't have that money on me so they said that's ok we can hold it till I can pay it off even though I told them I needed my cell back that same day. about a month later I got a small black spot on my screen without any injury to my cell from me hmmm... my advice is don't take your cells their bu if you do make sure you tell them what your only willing to pay for upfront even though no one should have to smh (forced to give them a star) read more

Had my truck battery die on me - called, they had three different models and prices to pick from. Got the truck jump started, drove over and they installed the battery (free), and I was done within 30 minutes. Fast, efficient, and FRIENDLY service. There was an elderly lady with a cane in at the same time getting assistance on several watch batteries. They had gotten her a chair, and she was also being treated with respectful courtesy, not something you always see for our elders. She left with a big smile, profusely thanking the young man that assisted her. They have a comprehensive selection of light bulbs and Streamlight flashlights, in addition to batteries. Love that the staff is wearing masks and they are so helpful and friendly! I have been coming to this store even before they moved and have never had a problem, remember "patience is a virtue" too many young people are just too "me" involved to appreciate any customer service. I came here, for the first time earlier in the day, to get a battery for my alarm system & received great service. I chatted with the guy about how we both liked Kohl's & how he saved money this past weekend school shopping. He was very friendly, helpful & I'd knew I'd be back because of the friendly service I received. HOWEVER, I didn't realize it would be the same day. Later on that evening my car battery decided it didn't want to work any longer. Guess where I returned?! This review was initially positive. The guys fixed my screen and speaker on my IPhone 6s Plus that my baby had broken and it worked well. However, when I got back to work I immediately started having problems with the battery keeping a charge. I have never had battery issues with the phone. That evening I got it to charge to 82% after more than 4 hours on the charger, but the phone died overnight. Two days ago it could be on 2% when I went to bed and in the morning would still be alive. I called the store this morning to see if they would look at it and was told there was a battery recall a few months ago and they would fix it for $69.99. I seriously spent $175 yesterday to have the screen and speaker fixed, and can't get them to look at the battery and see if maybe something is going on from the repair yesterday? I've recommended that other employees take their phones here for their repairs and set up their appointments for them, but this has me rethinking our repair provider. read more

I needed a new car battery and two stores I called wouldn't touch my car because it's a Mercedes-Benz. Another store said they would sell me the battery but couldn't install. I called Batteries Plus Bulbs and they were awesome. They were working the Temple location to help out. ( Borrowed from Harker Height location) They had the battery and were able and willing to install the battery right after purchase. It took a half an hour and a few extra tools but they were courteous and polite the whole time. I tried to tip them but was told they couldn't take tips. It really meant a lot to me that they were so helpful in my time of me. I will Definitely spread the good news. read more

After I contacted the corporate office a second time, the Temple store contacted me, apologized for what had happened and offered to buy back the batteries, if I would remove my Yelp posting. I agreed that if they bought the batteries back, I would submit an update to Yelp, reporting on their efforts to resolve the problem. I was having a difficult time finding a specific battery I needed, and as a last ditch try I went here knowing that they would be a higher price. When I entered the store I looked around while waiting for help. One of the Reps asked me if I needed help, and I told him what I needed. He directed me to what I thought was the wrong item I needed. Then he started ranting rudely you don't have to buy it.
