On Feb. 11 my husband took his laptop in for repair, paid up front. As of today no laptop. Took 2 weeks for parts due to weather up north. 2 weeks ago took my grandsons I pods in for repair, paid upfront. 1 of the I pods was to replace screen. He never glued it on, had to take it back. The other he broke the screen replacing headphone jack. Still waiting for this to be done. Now my husband was dealing with him, because I have a short temper. He is in the hospital with stage 4 cancer. Police will be called so I can get our things returned. Don't go there. read more

Don't call because he never answers the phone. Dropped off a 65 inch TV and he said he could fix it and would order the part. After a month and 2 visits he said the part got returned because he wasn't in the shop due to a funeral and the part got returned. 4 more visits and almost 4 MORE months and nothing....he is still checking on it. Going today to pick it up and go somewhere else. We paid the deposit to have it fixed and I'm sure we won't see that again. Have replaced the TV but now its the principal of the thing. read more

The computer repair agent not only failed to call me for a status report; in addition, he had my computer for over a month. The best part is that he melted the inner components of my computer with a soldering iron, blew my motherboard and didn't have the decency to put my computer back together for me. I sent it to Geek Squad and they reported the damage to be not likely due to my usage, but the damage seemed to caused by someone ATTEMPTING to repair my computer. As soon as my report on the computer arrives, I plan on suing this company. This man was hardly ever open consistently, had my computer entirely far too long, reported false promises, damaged / destroyed my computer, refused to call me and explain why he had my computer for over a month. Most importantly, his overall lack of care and technical proficiency are completely appalling. This is the pinnacle of a "failing business" and must be avoided by all. read more

We have used this place before and never had trouble before. This last time we came here to get my daughter's Nintendo 3DS fixed and the ONLY thing that needed to be fixed was the card reader. He said he would call as soon as he got the part in and he never called once. I would call him and always get the machine even when leaving detailed messages. Finally, after about a month he called and said he tried three different card readers and nothing worked so he told me to come get it. I picked it up and the first thing I notice is that it is EXTREMELY dirty. Take it home and examine it and I notice that parts are missing, the back doesn't stay on right anymore, the touch screen no longer works, the main screen is black, and there's a crack on it. Don't know if it was from him dropping it or trying to take pieces apart to get to what he needed to. So, I went in for a hopefully simple card reader fix and came out with the whole thing not working. As a professional, wether or not the parts worked, when putting the original part/s back on I would think he would turn it on just to make sure everything was working properly. He said to bring it back in but with what happened the first time why would I want to bring it back? read more

There is definitely a reason this place is called "Crazy" Dad's. On Monday I took my ipad in to get the screen replaced. It was 100% functional when I brought it in. I needed to get the screen replaced in order to take it on an airplane on Thursday (to entertain my three year old). The guy (who says his name is Jack), assured me it would be done on Tuesday morning and that he would call me when it was done. Tuesday came and went. No phone call. On Wednesday I called to see if I could come pick it up. He said "oh, they didn't call you, did they?" (I still don't know who they are because I have only ever seen one person in the shop). I replied that no one had called me. He proceeded to tell me that the LCD had been broken (obviously by him, since it was working when I brought it in) and that I could expect it to be ready on Thursday or Friday morning. I explained to him, that I desperately needed it by Thursday morning so I could take it on the airplane. He said he would check with some other local shops and see if they had the part needed to fix it and that HE WOULD CALL ME BACK. Nope. No phone call. We called him back late Wednesday afternoon and he said he was still "waiting for some phone calls back", and that HE WOULD CALL US BACK later. Nope. Nada. We decided to postpone our trip since the idea of taking my daughter on the airplane without any entertainment sounded like a nightmare to me. So we waited patiently for him to call back. Thursday passed, Friday passed, NO PHONE CALL. On Saturday Morning (today) we called and he told us he didn't know when it would be ready. He hadn't "checked the mail yet". But that he would CALL US BACK when he had some more information. I asked him what kind of discount he was going to give us for this mishap (After all, the ipad was in working condition when we brought it in). I told him that 4 months earlier he had replaced the screen for $75 and now he was charging $125 for the exact same service. I suggested to him that he replace the screen and make the repairs to the damage he caused for $75, since he had very recently charged that amount and could obviously afford to do it for that amount. The phone went silent for a good 20 seconds. He (angrily) told me to come pick up my broken and unusable ipad and take it somewhere else. He would not fix it. At this point, I decided I really didn't want him touching my ipad any more, so I went in to pick it up. When I came in, he would not speak to me, just handed me the ipad. I asked him if he was going to apologize for the damage to my ipad and the inconvenience he had caused my family. He said he would not apologize. He told me to take it to Mobile geeks and that they would charge me more than $125 for the service. Yes, yes they will. But I am sure mobile geeks will return my phone calls and send me away with an ipad in worse condition than when I brought it in. I am usually very patient with errors. I didn't even get upset when he broke the ipad. I almost never write negative reviews, but this guy was unbelievably rude and unprofessional. Save your money and your sanity and go somewhere else. read more

I visited Crazy Dads game repair last Monday, March 9th. This was my first visit there. I had ordered an old game system through eBay and finally received it in the mail. I was so excited to get started and play this game and just my luck, the game system did not work. Before I went back to the seller on ebay for a refund I wanted some one will knowledge to look at it first. I would rather fix it than receive a refund anyway, because this game system is hard to find especially ones in great condition.Within 5 or 6 mins he had my game system working. It was just an old system and needed to be cleaned. He did not charge me for this, which was very generous and unexpected. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone for computers, phones and game systems. He seemed very smart and experienced in his line of work. I also like that his repairs have a flat rate and the pricing is automated over the phone, so you can call and get a quote before coming in.. I will definitely be back if I need any repairs done on my electronics!!! read more
