I have been going in here for years and I have a hard time believing the one star reviews. After reading the petty comments, I decided to leave a fair and unbiased comment based on my years of experience doing business at this store. Just went in this morning. Practicing safe COVID protocols as required. The girl behind the counter was super helpful with my echo dot purchase. She let me plug it in and test it before I purchased it. I asked about a PS2 and she showed me right where it was and pointed out the games for it. When I have brought in games or consoles they have always given a fair price. (It isn't top dollar, but they do have to make a profit). Honestly their prices for merchandise are extremely good. Bottom line is this: come in and make your own decisions. I love the atmosphere and the employees don't breathe down your neck trying to get sales. They help you when you ask and try to help you the best they can, when they don't know they don't make shit up and actually look for the answer or ask another employee if they might know. The selections are great and they have a policy where if the game or system doesn't work no matter the reason they will replace it or give you the in store credit back! (No cash back, but I get it) I always go in and ask for horror movie recommendations from one of the female employees and leave satisfied every time. read more

I'm an avid gamer, I've been playing for over 20 years. I was pretty excited to see that we finally had a game store in town. Every single time I've been in there I've left empty handed because of the prices. A lot of the things they have even used are more than they are new elsewhere. Today I went in there and was going to buy a few of the Platinum Xbox 360 games. Even though they were 19.99 or more which is what they were new I decided to get them because not all of them are still for sale in the store and I didn't want to drive to Killeen to get them cheaper or order them online. I grabbed about 80$ in used games and waited in line. I stood there for a half hour waiting while the cashier chatted with a customer. This same customer was casually looking at games in the case and talking about other games just taking their time talking like no one was in the store. There were several other people in line behind me. The other cashier was counting his drawer. A half hour is way too long to wait in line (only 1 person was in front of me and we both waited the entire time!). No one bothered to say anything when myself or the other customers came in or while we stood there waiting. I finally had enough. I mean I could get the games cheaper but was going to give them a shot. I'm not going to give my business to a place that not only charges ridiculous prices but also treats the customers so rudely. I set my games on the counter next tot he cashiers and told my son to come on, I wasn't going to wait all day. The cashiers didn't even glance at us let alone apologize. Bottom line: Don't waste your time or money! Go somewhere that respects you and charges fair prices. read more
