It's not like I can go into any department store and find the same wall art everywhere I go. I found a flower bunch that was $26 ALONE at Walmart... but at hobby lobby, I was able to create my own, and the flowers look almost exactly the same as the bunch I had seen earlier for only $1.50 a flower and $3.50 for the pot at hobby lobby, I spent $9.50 total per flower pot arrangement!!! Over the last 2 months, one Hispanic young employee with red hair has made every visit extremely unpleasant with rude behavior and a terrible attitude. Today, she was also constantly staring at us in a very judgmental way and making us feel extremely uncomfortable the entire time we were shopping. No customer should feel watched or judged just for being in the store. The older cashier with glasses at the register was also openly looking us up and down and came across as very judgmental and unwelcoming. Customers should not feel uncomfortable or judged while simply trying to shop. It's disappointing because this used to be one of my favorite stores, but the customer service lately has been awful. I really wish management would hire kinder, more professional employees instead of people with constant attitudes toward customers.

So the first thing you need to know is that Ross had great deals on clothing, housewares and more. They have a little bit of everything except major appliances and electronics. Second thing to know is about Ross is that it is almost always packed. It is doggy dog in there. Every man for himself kinda deal. Third thing to know is that you have these ridiculous shopping carts with some sort of antenna on it. I haven't figured out what it is for. Fourth thing is that there are racks and racks of clothes to sort through. I've not been that adventurous but I have seen how serious people get. Ross is a gem when it comes to finding holiday items. I'm a horrible shopper and do it at the last minute. Ross has had all decorative items to please my fancy for the holidays at a reasonable price. I have come to love Ross and plan on returning to stock up on my next holiday decorative binge.

I noticed it didn't seem like they had a lot of workers out in the day time neither hence why it was probably messy as well but either way. More workers started showing up once the line got super long, they had everyone "man," the registers. Again, I've been told that business' in this area isn't always the best due to the area being impoverished. I guess, that could be the case and I find that a little infuriating because I feel that it's very stereotypical. The lines are long and the service isn't always the greatest but it's retail and for me, that's expected (a wait, sometimes bad service). I have experienced better but maybe I was here on a bad day. Definitely, going to try again. I will say, the DD's right next to this Ross is really nice. Maybe they just need more workers at the Ross?

I recently relocated to Texas and decided to start fresh as far as furniture. Due to Covid-19 I have not been eager to look for furniture and I also didn't want to rush an online purchase I would come to regret; money is also tight. Today, with my mask in place, I made a stop to Furniture Row, I was hesitant to do so, mainly because of the mixed reviews. I'm happy I went in. My only goal today was to find a sofa. I was greeted by staff when I entered. The sales specialist to provide assistance was Roy. Roy gave a warm welcome and asked if I needed specific help, but then left me to my business; high pressure sales would have had me about face. As I wandered he checked on me once more. I found a few items I was considering, but was not quite set on. Roy noticed I had spent some time with a particular set. Lucky enough it was in stock, but the pricing out of budget. Roy helped negotiate a reasonable price and arrange for delivery for only about a week out. This young man is only 20, but incredibly respectful, knowledgeable and enjoyable to work with. I'm am pleased with the whole process. This store is lucky to have found him. All the employees were friendly. Overall the store has a decent selection. The floor/showroom offers a glimpse at many styles and budgets. I selected items that were in the store so I could set up my living room ASAP. I can't yet vouch for the delivery and set up process, but I'm hopeful it will all go as smooth as my initial experience. Thank you all for being awesome during these stressful times.
