I make a point of supporting local businesses in the Village. I take that seriously. My experience at Village Mill Antiques on Thursday, May 7th was the exception that tests the rule. The employee I dealt with was condescending from the first exchange -- not in a single moment, but consistently, as though it were policy. I left without completing my purchase. There are other local businesses in this area that earn the loyalty they ask for. This one did not. I won't return, and I can't recommend it. read more

Exploring all of the antique shops in the area and this was by far our favorite! It was spacious enough inside to not be overwhelmed by all of the unique pieces and able to appreciate them nicely. read more

We came here after a few of the other local antique malls were closed for the day. This is a long store and there are several stalls of items. There were a few things I liked but this was not the best location for things like 80s toys and the like. Parking was ok and the staff was friendly. read more

I have been to Village Mill Antiques twice now. Their mall is neat and clean with very well organized booths. I was just a browser during my first visit and found a pitcher and glasses in my Tiara pattern, but did not purchase them because I thought I might be able to find it cheaper somewhere else. I was wrong! Luckily, I returned one month later, hoping the items were still there, and they were... as well as a cake plate I missed the first time, mistaking it for the brandy decanter and goblet tray. They also had one napkin holder I decided to pass... maybe later. The lovely ladies took great care in wrapping and packing my glassware and directed me to the cake plate I had mistaken for the tray. They were extremely friendly and helpful and I cannot wait to visit their establishment in the future. They also added my glass and China patterns to their registry for future notifications. I began my Tiara glass collection with a few pieces given to me by my Grandmother when I was about twelve, but it has grown quite extensive in just a few short years through diligent antiquity scavenger hunts. read more

Love, love, love this antique mall! Be ready to spend at least an hour to take in all they have to offer. I have to watch myself here and practice restraint! Corning and Pyrex galore, by several vendors (the one with tags "PCA" is a favorite of mine). Attentive ladies are happy to answer questions and provide service with a smile. So glad I stopped in today. This was my first time in town and the only antique shop I made it to due to the time. I wish I got the name of the woman who helped me with rings. She was so kind and genuine in her opinion of which ring I should buy. I was really drawn to the one pictured here and almost changed my mind, but she brought me back to it and I'm so glad she did. Dees had a ton of really nice stuff. I like a lot of stuff in here and there were several things I would have bought. However one of the ladies working there was a little creepy and was all up in our business. We found this huge Disney binder full of collectable patches. There were a few in the back of the book not actually in a page protector and didn't seem part of the book. There was one we really wanted to buy so we asked the lady if we could buy it separately since the rest of the book was incomplete. She basically told us she wouldn't sell any of them separately because it was a set although it was obvious that parts were missing. She wasn't very nice either and acted really suspicious of us like we were going to steal it or something. Then she said we need to check eBay for those things because they sell for 8 dollars. We checked and they weren't there... Oh well, could have had a sale. I was ready to pay 20 bucks just for that one patch, but she ruined it. She would make a lot more money if she was willing to sell things... There were several other buildings in the back, they were actually really really nice and had a huge selection of pretty much everything. Plus the guy tending them is super friendly and the prices are very fair. Overall the place is nice just a few hiccups. read more
