In March 2026 Dillard's in Temple Texas had free bra fitting by experienced sales people. They had an event in the bra dept that sales of Wacoal bras some portion would go to breast cancer foundation. They decorated the dept in pink ribbons and had pink candy and pink slushy andballoons. This was the best experience i ever had inside a department store. Im 57..I bought 3 bras from Carrina R who patiently fitted me and didnt push any sales. I will be back to buy more soon i opened a dillards credit card that day. I got 10 percent off 1 day shopping pass i had fun shopping buying bras and Lancome perfume i bought absolue rose Lan come perfume .Dillards is elegant and classy i love going because i get treated well and excellent customer service Lancome dept i got perfume samples to help decide which rose perfume i would buy. Temple Dillards is the best and i been in Temple since 2013. Love that when you open credit card you get the 10 percent THAT DAY. Love you Dillards .​ read more

Rudeness! I left the killeen, texas mall after checking to see if they had a certain shoe was told the Dillard's in Temple, texas had them! Was really excited so I decided to take the trip! Got here and met Nothing but rudness! Sales person wouldn't even look me in my face and said whatever is out is all we have! I WAS a regular here at MAC and Freepeople among other high end items...I got a call today that my boyfriend was arrested here for stealing when he wasn't - he had an item in his hand and they accused him of stealing it and to make it even worse - when I came to get my keys and car the manager said that if I ever return she will have me arrested for trespassing....Now, I have never stolen from this store, nor do I EVER steal from anywhere - I have however spend hundreds of dollars here as a patron and to say the least I will never return here nor will I return to the mall to shop because it is so insulting to be treated like a theif when I am a professional who makes 90k/year. I understand not wanting my bf to return but I was not even with him at the time and have never been accused of stealing, and I cannot imagine that this is Dillard's company policy. The so called manager who said this had broken english and is probably a Russian spy from what Ive gathered...either way, this is NOT the way to keep the store and mall open when it is struggling for business. read more

One week before I left for a trip to Europe I purchased a dress from this store to wear for New Years Eve in Berlin. On New Years Eve I tried the dress on, it fit fine and I liked it but my boyfriend said he didn't really care for it (he tried to be polite about it) so I put the dress back in my bag with plans to return it once I got home and I proceeded to put on a different dress on instead. Fast forward a couple of weeks. Once I got home, I went to return the dress (something I almost never do) because I did not plan on wearing it since again my boyfriend did not think it was a winner. The customer service representative refused to return it because at some point the tag had fallen off (understandable since it was packed away but I was able to recover the tag from the suitcase). She further insisted that the dress had been worn after I tried to explain the above situation. Even after I told her that it was fine that she could not return it and that I would take it back she kept repeating that the dress had been worn as if I was lying. I am ok with someone refusing to return an item because the tag is not attached. I am not ok with being called a liar. By the way this was a manager and this all occurred in front of other customer service representatives. In my opinion it is completely unacceptable to treat your customers in such a manner and I find it disappointing that employees who look to managers for guidance are being taught that it is ok to act like this. I frequently shop at Dillards but after this experience I will no longer be shopping here. read more

I'm not a big Dillard's fan but I do occasionally come in here when they have big sales going on. This store is nice, good selection of make-up, perfume & accessories. The staff are usually attentive when not focused on each other. read more

I just want to be sure that Dillard's is aware of an outstanding employee name Karen B. She is one of the main reasons I shop at Dillard's, she works in the service department, and she is amazing. She is always so professional, courteous and a smile on her face no matter how stressful the area becomes. I have notice when waiting in line, she works very hard and puts her heart into her job to make sure each customer is treated like she wants to be treated and she goes the extra mile and then some. I observed she not only wraps gifts, but answer all calls to Dillard's, handle the cashiers for various reasons, page staff for other staff, handle all customers for returns and gift wrapping and purchases, and when some of them are so rude and unhappy to her for no fault by her, she fixes the situation, and they leave smiling and I am sure she is given numerous other duties during the day and usually by herself. Karen is truly multi-talented and exceptional, and over the years has made my shopping experience wonderful. Dillard's take good care of her for she is truly an outstanding asset to your store. read more

I just wanted to let the powers that be in the Dillard's hierarchy know how very helpful a young assistant manager at your Temple store was. Her name is Brittany, she was professional yet exuberant and so very kind. She was extremely helpful and made sure that I found everything I needed. Never once did she make me feel like I was a problem to solve. She was so delightful that when I left your store, I had a smile on my face. DO NOT EVER LET HER GO!!! Because truthfully, some of your other employees, assistant managers as well, walk around that store looking like they've lost all joy in life. And, they seem irritated when asked for help. Brittany was fashionably dressed in a beautiful romper with a blazer. It was so nice to see your employees dressed fashionably in things Dillard's sell instead of boring old black tunics and leggings. My father, age 79, is caregiving for my grandparents and went into the lingerie department because he needed help last fall. The employee measured my grandmother for a bra but then just directed my father to the limited stands that had bras it 'might' work for her. He's never bought a bra before and doesn't even know what a underwire means. This is definitely not the Dillards that I worked at in college and my friend worked at out of college in lingerie along time ago. After talking to my friend from college about this, I decided to call the store and ask for the manager and got an assistant manager who seemed very shocked by my father's bad experience. She told me somebody would called me. They never did so I could schedule a drive from Dallas for the purpose of getting this handled. Now, we have two bad experiences and fortunately I found a store called Sizes Unlimited that was incredibly helpful to me on the phone. The Dillard's that has moved into the old Macy's location in Temple Mall is now terrible! For one thing, the store now looks exactly like Macy's. Gee folks, that's the way to succeed, model yourselves after a store that just went out of business! For another, they are not carrying the clothing and styles I used to patronize their old store for. I primarily like Westbound Petites and Allison Daley, neither of which I can find in selections like in the old Dillard's. These two brands offer comfortable, stylish and reasonably priced clothing, which someone like me (a senior) looks good in and enjoys wearing. I took a first trip over to the new location today. While I was there, I encountered 5 or 6 other women like myself looking for the same thing. And all seemed just as disappointed and frustrated. The clerk I asked for help offered absolutely none. She led me over to a very small petite section, and even smaller displays of Daley and Westbound. I regularly buy Westbound Petites long and short sleeved shirts for winter and summer, 100 percent cotton and offered in a variety of colors and styles (turtleneck, scooped, v-neck etc). That wasn't seen anywhere in the new store. I will not be back to this location, and if I can't find what I need at the Killeen store, I will start ordering online - if they haven't ruined that too. I am extremely disappointed with Dillard's now. I have been a long term customer, and all I asked in return was pleasant, helpful sales people and the clothing I've grown to love. Obviously Dillard's no longer wants my business. Oh they now carry Ivanka Trump's line - for all you fellow former store shoppers in their 60's and 70's who might be interested - lol. Also the salesclerk told me about "The Bridge," the part of the store catering to "higher end." Just completely clueless. Shame on Dillard's! Try putting customers first and worry less about making obscene profits. read more
