I don't recommend waiting until the eleventh hour, and frankly, neither does the calendar. That said, the staff here took pity on my poor planning and were genuinely incredible about it. Store is clean, parking is easy, prices are fair, and the team is ridiculously accommodating. Don't be like me and push your luck, but if you do find yourself in a self-inflicted bind, this is definitely the spot. 5/5 stars, but I'm officially embarrassed.

I'm 57 so make up is important for me to feel good and look young. Ma ha in the Anastasia brand helped perfect my eyebrows with Gabby The sales were awesome 40 percent off perfume sets and 25 percent off make up at Lancome. Erica was great! Very helpful, said welcome as soon as we walked through the door…read more I am a 5.11 fan boy, I use a lot of their clothes, however... I feel like for the last few years they have been drifting away from who they are and who they claim to serve, trying to capitalize on fashion trends instead of actual useful tactical clothing. Example, skinny jeans, tight stretchy (tactical) shorts, obnoxious trendy colors etc. There are still a few articles for people that conceal carry, barely. A majority of the shorts for example seem designed to CAUSE a carry gun to "print". If you don't know what that means you shouldn't shop here. One pair of shorts I tried on with a SMALL 380 pistol in a sticky holster actually stuck OUT of the pocket... really.... The only 2 that were worth looking at were the Stryke $80, and the Pro tac $65. Neither were available in my size and or color. I also feel like the price is high, I don't have a "government department" to pay for my clothes, I have to do it myself. But hey, Erica was great!

I feel sorry for any artist who does participate in this store. Good luck on selling any of your items as they seem to target people and do not treat them with respect. My daughter-in-law and I visited Boot Barn in Temple, Texas, and from the moment we walked in, we…read morefelt so welcomed. Barney, who was behind the counter, greeted us warmly and let us know he was there if we needed anything. We headed straight to the hat section, trying on different styles as we prepared for an upcoming rodeo. When I put one on, I wasn't sure how it looked, but I felt cute, so I boldly asked Barney, "Well, how do I look?" With the calmest and coolest demeanor, he simply nodded and said, "That's a good one." That, plus my daughter-in-law loved it, so that sealed the deal--I knew that was my hat! Barney then came over and gave us an in-depth education on cowboy hats--explaining the different materials, how pricing changes based on quality, and even how round-top hats are just like traditional cowboy hats but need to be molded down. We were so captivated by his knowledge that I joked he must have felt like he was giving a TED Talk! Beyond hats, we had the best conversation. My husband and I were stationed in Hawaii, and Barney's son, who's in the Coast Guard, was also stationed there. He made a comment about how if we all took the time to understand each other a little more, we'd see one another in a different light. That moment was so heartfelt that I might have scared him when I asked for a hug--but he was just such a kind soul! I also have to give a shout-out to Misty, who was just as incredible. She gave us a thorough lesson on boots--how some stretch more than others, the unique characteristics of different brands, and how she could special-order anything if they didn't have my size. She was down-to-earth, knowledgeable, and made our shopping experience even better with her warm smile and great conversation. Though we didn't interact with Jared as much, he was just as kind. When he rang up our order, he made sure we acknowledged both Barney and Misty's excellent service. I've seen people remind customers to "mention their name in a review," but Jared wasn't about himself--he genuinely wanted his teammates to get the recognition they deserved. That spoke volumes about his character. My daughter-in-law, grandbaby, and son-in-law now call Texas home, while my husband and I live in North Carolina. But anytime we come back, Boot Barn in Temple is the only place I'll shop for hats, boots, or anything Western--and I'll be asking for Barney!
