About 14 years ago, the prong on my wedding ring broke (my husband bought my ring 29 years ago in…read moreLubbock from a nationally known jeweler) and the diamond fell. We took it to Bill French Jewelers and Bill not only fixed the prong, he was quite patient about finding the right sized stone for the ring (I wanted a slightly larger stone), and made sure it was as near to perfect as a stone can get. In the summer of 2016, I went in to look at some rings for our pre-teen daughter for her upcoming birthday. Bill noticed my ring needed cleaning, but more so, he took a look at the diamond cross I was wearing. This cross was a birthday gift to me from my Mom (who passed in 2009) when I turned 16. I wear this cross all the time and rarely do I take it off. Bill noticed the bale for the cross and the clasp on the chain were worn thin. It was worn so thin, the cross was about to fall from the chain any second. Since I had been wearing it since I was 16 years old, that's A LOT of wear! I hadn't even noticed it. Bill, with his expert jeweler's eye for such detail, caught it! I was happy to turn it over to him for fixing and bought a better, thicker chain that went well with the cross. Not only that, after examining the cross, Bill explained to me the cross was not silver, as I had thought, but white gold and pointed out the carat measure on the back. It was too small for me to read and I never thought much about it, only that it was a gift from my Mom! I would have been devastated if I had ever lost this cross, not because of the worth in gold and diamonds, but because it was a gift from my Mom. Thank you, Bill and the entire staff at Bill French Jewelers for all the work you have done for us over the years! Through the years, we have bought watches and other pieces of jewelry from Bill French. This Christmas my husband bought me a gorgeous watch. Before I shop anywhere for jewelry, we always stop in and see what Bill has first and foremost. We still need to get the ring for our daughter--if I can ever get her ring sized without her being suspicious! ;-)

I don't know of anybody that steps up to fix a problem on even a new gun, much less a used one. Any place I've ever purchased a firearm would just tell me to contact the manufacturer. But Mr.X gives a 30 day coverage, even on used. They took this revolver back and fixed it at no cost to me. The whole process was smooth and painless. That is customer service that is sooo rare these days. I might add, when I bought this gun, the price was excellent. Will certainly be a return customer.

Excellent customer service as far as I am concerned, originally I had bought ammo and a belt from…read morethem for EDC. The price of ammo these days just will never be what is was before I ever starting started shooting maybe someday soon that will change, however when it comes to firearms and knowledge to help you find the right weapon for your purposes these guys got your back. Eventually I decided to buy a rifle from this company on layaway, really was not sure what type I really wanted. It went somewhere along the lines I want a really accurate one, not understanding what that entails I decided to go with a $1,200 rifle with a stainless steel barrel brand new. Upon further research months late after putting down almost $700 on the new rifle I changed my mind and wanted a rifle built for more general purpose with a more standard barrel and life span over precision. I was unsure of what to expect telling an associate I would like to put a different weapon on layaway in place of what I was originally going to get, pleasantly surprised that a newer associate simply picked out a rifle that was perfectly what I wanted for just under a grand. Despite a minor hiccup at the time I paid off the rifle ( In the system It still had the new rifle on record instead what I decided to get months later ) I left very happy with my new purchase. Upon inspection of the weapon further at home I was very pleased with the parts used and condition of the rifle internally more than I could have expected otherwise. So impressed with this store that I brought them a new customer to buy their first rifle as well just like me, once again I think this place made another two gun owners very happy, the rifle they sold my friend is in great condition for the price, the only minor flaw is on the side of the manufacturer with M&P. The BCG is not on par with what I had gotten in my rifle although I did pay more for mine in the first place so that would generally be why. Nothing deal breaking about the weapon just a non mil-spec BCG that was in need of a new gasket ring, Considering an entirely new BCG is less than $200 it's not a big deal at all when the weapon already came with upgraded furniture in the first place and it works as is. Bravo, I only wish there could be a wider selection of upgrade parts for the Rifles in general. The walls are full of stuff and what you generally would want is there however you are unlikely to find a significant variety of furniture that would make your head spin mostly just the basics sold separately and none of it is particularly cheap generally the same price you would find anywhere else really, that includes ammunition while they do currently have a decent selection it's not any cheaper than anywhere else I have found and the cheapest of the cheap ammo seems to go fast anyways. Not a bad place for a first time gun buyer in my opinion it definitely helps to know what you want before you go and put money down though. I personally look forward to my next gun purchase from these guys at some point in the future.
