I like this new PX and the variety of stores they have inside the building. MAC, GNC and even Chipotle. The vendors inside have a lot of cool stuff for sale. Inside the PX it has a large electronics department and plenty of stuff to see. They definitely have a lot of things in here and plenty of gift ideas. If you like to shop with plenty of space to push your cart around, I would suggest that you come when it is dead. I came on a Saturday afternoon and it was so packed. Came to the food court at the exchange at 1:20 in the afternoon on a Sunday. Ordered my food and then tried to find a place to sit while I waited for it to be prepared. Except that I couldn't find a clean seat. When I asked for cleaner at one of the food establishments, I was denied but told they could get someone to work on cleaning the tables. I stood to wait for my food, and when I finally got it, no one was cleaning tables. I finally found one table that didn't have someone else's food on it and ate my meal. When I left, about 15 minutes later, there was still no one cleaning them. For a food court on a military installation, they fell far below par. It was just gross. The food was good though so no one star review today. read more

Came for the grand opening of the new Clear Creek Main Exchange store and mall on Fort Hood Army Base. Very nice design of the building and the mall area is outstanding. They added several new stores for the new mall area including a MAC cosmetic store and a number of other shops. They have a great clips hair cut location on site but did not see the regular barber shop here. They now have a Starbucks, Arby's, Subway, and Japanese in the food court. They still have Chinese food and Charlie's Philly steak sandwich in the food court. Did not see a Burger King so I guess that is gone. The Exchange store itself is huge and are stocked full of good products. I love the Nike Shop and display here. They carry all kinds of athletic gear including all of your favorite sports teams apparel. Ladies will love the array of designer purses and footwear here. Men's and Women's clothing are plentiful regarding the various brand name choices available. The electronics is very nice and the displays are very cool. Good selection of video game consoles and games. Plenty of computers here including Apple and PC products. Good selection of fine jewelry and fragrances here. Too many items to list out here so you must come if you or a family member is in the military. All the clothing products sold here are $12-18 off of regular civilian retail stores like Nordstrom or Dillard's . I got a nice North Face jacket at a good price compared to outside! I was totally impressed with this store and it is a definite upgrade from the old location across the street. So I highly recommend this new PX/BX store to anyone that has not been here yet. You will be impressed because I was!! Remember, Military ID is required to access the base and to make purchases. read more

I came here a few times while visiting my son and his family and I really did like the store. I was able to get a lot of souvenirs for my family back in Chicago. They had a variety of prices starting at about $1 which is great if you have a lot of people you want to buy something for. It was huge and I didn't even walk all the way through it but from what I did see it is a good store and I can see why my family raved about it so much. I do have to say if you are getting keychains make sure you check them out because I bought a bear and didn't realize he was missing his legs until we went back and I saw the same keychain not broken. If my son is still based here when I comeback I will be back at the Exchange and hopefully I can walk through it more. As always folks... Enjoy!!! read more

This new PX is absolutely amazing in comparison to the old one. It has a variety of different stores before you even get to walk into the main building which is great since the area doesn't have a good mall. The only downside I have for this place is the food court. The only thing it's lacking is variety. I feel like all of the options are really simple and not something that people would like to grab for lunch. The best thing there is the Smoothie King but everything else is pretty average and feels like there's not much choice in food. However, that's such a small detail in comparison to this store that it really doesn't matter. The store itself has everything you're looking for and a giant athletic wear section for pretty cheap places in comparison to other places I've visited. Definitely a go to place to "visit" if you're not from the area as they offer very typical Texas souvenirs that your family from out-of-state are bound to love! read more

Whenever the flight attendent pushes his/her cart on those overseas flights talking about duty free this and that, I think to myself... "You have no idea." This PX rocks! The amount of "STUFF" in this place rivals a midget mall and is by far on my top three lists of tax free shopping centers. You want a Coach purse? Lancome face cream? DKNY scentsy? Michael Kors wedges or Air Jordans? Ralph Lauren summer dress? Got it - even down to Crest toothpaste. What I really love about post exchanges is all you really have to do is wait a bit and things will start to go on sale. First comes the sticker for 25% off. Give it time my friend. Then comes 50%. Have more patience, my dear. 75% red sticker. Then go for the kill. Forget Wally World, Dillards, Target or anything else. Come here. Wow! I wish every base had a bx like this. Actually a mini mall, you can get just about anything you want here, and then pick from a multitude of places to eat. The bx is huge, like Walmart size, and good prices. Get what you want and then step out into the mall to see a variety of specialty shops. Ready to eat? Arby's, subway, Chinese, Japanese, Starbucks, and a few others. A great addition to the base, and our service men deserve it. read more

For 14 years my mother would come and visit and take us shopping to buy clothes etc. at the PX. This last visit the teenage cashier told us that my mom couldn't use her credit card to make the purchases for me. After 14 years and I'm told this has been a policy for several years now, so why have we been able to do this for 14 years already? Then the one manager said we could use cash which who carries large amounts ya of cash these days. Then another manager said we can't use card or cash from a civilian. No wonder why they all work at the PX because they couldn't get a good paying decent job elsewhere. read more

The exchange doesn't really impress me much. For being the largest military installation its not very big. The employees for most part are good. There are still some attitude problems. Over all not impressed. Its just business as usual with a newer building. read more

This not my idea of a Post exchange at all, It is a designer shopping mall. I don't know who they think is going to shop in this place. My husband is an E6 retiree we do not have the kind of money that it will take to shop in this place. I will continue to support my local stores in the community and forget about supporting the post. I spent fifteen minutes on the phone just now with two TV sales clerks and one customer service rep. I just wanted to know if it was possible to buy a large TV there and have it mounted on the wall. Sales Clerk #1 wasn't sure, but spent a while asking everyone around him. He finally transferred me to customer service. I was disconnected, so I called back. Customer service listened to about half of what I wanted to say, asked me to whom I'd spoken, then transferred me back to the "Power Zone." Sales Clerk #2 said maybe I could call Sears? i bought a firearm there and it took them over a hour to ring me out after they had to redo the paperword due to it being incorrect, then one week later i get a phone call from someone names cookie or pookie not real clear voice saying their paper work is incorrect can i come correct it...AGAIN she left a cb number but again her voice was very unclear with the number so i called the main px and never got anyone to answer the phone so this is still not resolved. read more
