Excellent customer service as far as I am concerned, originally I had bought ammo and a belt from them for EDC. The price of ammo these days just will never be what is was before I ever starting started shooting maybe someday soon that will change, however when it comes to firearms and knowledge to help you find the right weapon for your purposes these guys got your back. Eventually I decided to buy a rifle from this company on layaway, really was not sure what type I really wanted. It went somewhere along the lines I want a really accurate one, not understanding what that entails I decided to go with a $1,200 rifle with a stainless steel barrel brand new. Upon further research months late after putting down almost $700 on the new rifle I changed my mind and wanted a rifle built for more general purpose with a more standard barrel and life span over precision. I was unsure of what to expect telling an associate I would like to put a different weapon on layaway in place of what I was originally going to get, pleasantly surprised that a newer associate simply picked out a rifle that was perfectly what I wanted for just under a grand. Despite a minor hiccup at the time I paid off the rifle ( In the system It still had the new rifle on record instead what I decided to get months later ) I left very happy with my new purchase. Upon inspection of the weapon further at home I was very pleased with the parts used and condition of the rifle internally more than I could have expected otherwise. So impressed with this store that I brought them a new customer to buy their first rifle as well just like me, once again I think this place made another two gun owners very happy, the rifle they sold my friend is in great condition for the price, the only minor flaw is on the side of the manufacturer with M&P. The BCG is not on par with what I had gotten in my rifle although I did pay more for mine in the first place so that would generally be why. Nothing deal breaking about the weapon just a non mil-spec BCG that was in need of a new gasket ring, Considering an entirely new BCG is less than $200 it's not a big deal at all when the weapon already came with upgraded furniture in the first place and it works as is. Bravo, I only wish there could be a wider selection of upgrade parts for the Rifles in general. The walls are full of stuff and what you generally would want is there however you are unlikely to find a significant variety of furniture that would make your head spin mostly just the basics sold separately and none of it is particularly cheap generally the same price you would find anywhere else really, that includes ammunition while they do currently have a decent selection it's not any cheaper than anywhere else I have found and the cheapest of the cheap ammo seems to go fast anyways. Not a bad place for a first time gun buyer in my opinion it definitely helps to know what you want before you go and put money down though. I personally look forward to my next gun purchase from these guys at some point in the future. read more

We asked for some help from Kyle and you could tell he didn't want to be at work, had an attitude, something because he gave off rude vibes and tried to get smart with us and speak to us like we were stupid. i'm not really a fan of this place. The employees walk around like their poop don't stink... if you get my drift. They're kind of cocky and rude and then when I look at stuff I feel peer pressured. I brought a firearm in one time for trading purposes, and I was offered way way way less than other local shops had offered me... I also noticed some of the firearms are marked up $100 more than what you would find them at academy. I like to go in and look but I don't recommend doing business with them. read more

Don't even bother going into this place, it's a waste of time. They charge $75 to $100 more than anybody else, for the same items. I hate to blanket describe all people, but "gun bunnies" usually don't know half of what they think they know. Went there today to sell my brand new Glock 19, never used, paid $426 for it. The person behind the counter just saw a Hispanic female, stereotyped me and offer me a whole $150 to 200 for my brand new gun. They would have sold it for three times that. I wanted $300, which was extremely reasonable. I'll never set foot at that place again. read more

Called in for information on a couple guns, one person was friendly and helpful. The other was just today, and he came across as obviously annoyed that I disturbed him. I know you guys are probably busy and get several phone calls a day, but I'm trying to purchase a rifle and a pistol and would like to keep business local. However, when someone talks to me like I'm a huge imposition for bothering them by asking for them to do their job, it justifies why I should just order everything online. A side note, I tried running an inquiry through your website that "promises to get back to you within 24 hours", well that was a few days ago and nothing. I apologize for disrupting your nap or whatever, maybe don't even answer the phone if you're too busy to handle your customers. At least your competitors will enjoy your attitude. read more

I doubt these workers even care about their jobs. I've transferred firearms through this establishment multiple times and each time they take days to get to it. I've called a day after the firearm was delivered and the worker (Brandon) said, "whenever my boss gets to it". These guys are slow, talk down to you, and in store all of their items are overpriced. I said ok cool I'm coming back soon. 4 days later I came back ask where is it the old white guy said this store don't have that m16 style lower receiver. I told him check again and he found it but said this is customer ordered. He can't sell it to me. I'm really disappointed the way they treat me like that. 40 bucks 2 ways Uber trip worth fucking nothing. I cost totally 80 bucks Uber ride because of someone lied to me. These guys are amazing! They are very knowledgeable and friendly, but what impressed me the most is that they took the time to make sure I had the perfect firearm for my concealed carry. They didn't try to pressure sell me anything. In addition, they made sure to call me the moment they had more 9mm ammo in stock, which has been very difficult to find lately. My roommate recently moved to Texas but forgot his firearm in the house we shared so he walked into this establishment and asked if I could ship his firearm. Regrettably he didn't get the representative's name but the representative he talked to assured him that I could send the firearm to the store and after a background check he'd be able to retrieve it. This Wednesday I shipped the gun via FedEx. Today I got a call from a representative for Marksman Firearms saying he would not accept the gun. The representative was hostile and lacked customer service. This individual tried to scare me by saying I could get in trouble for sending them the firearm. After being belittled over the phone and told he would return the firearm to me I solved the issue with FedEx , whom was given the package back and was able to hold it until my ex roommate picked it up. The lack of accurate communication and the hostility I dealt with made my family and friends think twice about ever doing business with this establishment. read more

Recently moved to TX and looking for my new favorite toy store. Talked to Josh, hit him up with a ton of questions. He had all the answers ranging from CCL to what ranges shot at what distances. From what I gather the store is still somewhat new, so used selection is ok. If there was something new I wanted they were more then willing to order, holsters guns whatever. Gunsmith on site for all of your from coatings to mods. Lots of reloading supply's. They only thing they are lacking is onsite range. read more

Great selection with great prices for military! I was impressed with the sheer number of guns for a shop that was open for a week! Lots of unusual guns that you will be interested in. They buy, sell, and trade, however, they base the trade values on the availability and cost so inquire! Went into this location several times. Staff is very arrogant, dont really want to answer your questions. When you do have a question, is seems that they talk down to you, unless your talking to them and thier buddys about big guns and big rifles. Not friendly at all. Prices are alot higher than other shops. Really bad expereince and will not go back. Seems like they just want to intimdate you, especailly if you have questions. My experience with the staff at Marksmen Firearms to be professional and upfront. I see a lot of these reviews and see that people get upset because they seem to sound like they talk down to you, but if you know anything about the gun industry it's suppose to be a vigilant and yet still maintain their professionalism. That's hard to do. I've seen people that don't know what they're talking about and want to hold a weapon they have no business holding. Yet they keep their composure and answer all of the questions these dummies ask. I really don't know how the staff does it! I've purchased a few thing from them and not only will they explain, but go beyond the customer service point to make sure you're satisfied with your purchase. Great job and keep it up. read more
