Came in today for a issue with my upper carrier group ,Dave and gage were extremely helpful and I'm thankful they were there.

It's a good range, only problem why I'm not giving it 5 stars is that yeah. They don't let you shoot your rifle and your gun in the same lane, you're supposed to pack up your rifle, go out. And shoot in the other area. Seems like a waste of time in my opinion Range is clean, The 2 older looking white dudes with beards are always with an attitude, like they don't want to be there, last time I went the dude didn't even acknowledge that I was there for a few minutes. The only friendly staff they got is a black dude who's super chill, and I've had 2 lady's help me and they were always helpful and nice. But yeah those 2 older white dudes....... New to Texas but $22 for a box of 9mm is an insane up charge. People walking around waving guns around flagging people in the lobby.

I want to start off with saying that I myself am an FFL holder. Mistakes happen I shipped a wrong Firearm to the wrong FFL big deal it happens. I had called right away to the gun range. I asked for the manager Sam was being very rude and not making the process easy. I've never been inside. I don't know anybody there personally. I called again out of anger. I spoke to Greg. Greg was very patient and said yeah. I'm sorry. I understand. I will help you and take care of it. I called back again. Sam said no Greg is nobody he cannot take care of it. He spoke negative of Greg. I had an argument over the phone with Sam. I told him ship that gun back me. Sam said later I need all this details picture of the custom gun you made your name your FFL address. Where are you from? Who are you? I need to confirm you which I already did three times and more than enough I called back again. I spoke to Dave. Dave escalated the situation. He's like I will take care of it. He relayed the message to another manager and he guaranteed me the firearm will be shipped back to the correct address tomorrow. Whoever the owner is, I suggest you put sam on a short leash to teach him proper manners. Another message to the owner. You are very fortunate to have workers like Greg and Dave to Be trying to do the correct thing and putting our fires where YOUR manager should be doing that instead. read more

Cancelled my membership a month ago and they still took out a payment for this month. I see more people have had the same problem so clearly stay away from becomming a member. I'll be reporting these guys to the BBB and won't stop there because I'm not the only one and as a veteran owned business they are not taking care of their own people and should be ashamed of themselves. Customer service depends on who you get but the last gentleman was disgusting and carried an attitude with him for literally no reason as we were just going to use the range for a bit. I'll be finding out his name before submitting my complaint form as well. read more

Good prices for FFL and storage but horrible customer service. The Gun Range has pretty reasonable prices for FFL and storage...and that's about it for sustains. Their selection is pretty slim. You can find a better stock pretty much anywhere else at better prices though their main selling point is their FFL fee. The ranges are your standard indoor ranges just at a higher price. It's better to drive 10-15 minutes outside of Killeen and find a cheaper firearm club. Customer service is horrible. It's actually impressive how bad they are. Email? Yeah they don't check that. Phone? They'll answer, but they won't do anything. If you want anything done you have to go there in person to get them to take action. Great if you're in Killeen still, bad if you're in Killeen under quarantine or deployed or PCSed. I was going to renew my membership when I redeployed but don't worry, they renewed it for me automatically after telling me it would expire in November 2019. Now it's May and despite a half dozen emails (they actually responded to one, great job guys!) my membership rolls on and in... 1/5, 1 Star for FFL and storage prices. It's always something at this range. We went one time and rifle lanes were not available, only pistol. I've visited other ranges where you can shoot both on same lane. Then on a different visit, most of the lanes were closed for maintenance and only four lanes were open. What's the problem you may ask. Well, I called ahead of time to check on the hours and if lanes would be open, but they didn't mention that only 4 total lanes were open. Do not get their subscription. It is overpriced and it is a pain to try to get it canceled. I had to call 8 times over 3 months to ensure my account was canceled properly and to ensure that I was refunded for the month that they mistakenly charged me. Over the 3 months, I was told that they will follow up with me which never happened. I am irritated by the lack of customer service and the amount of time I wasted with them. Customer service is awful!! I took my friend for her birthday, & we were treated as if we were 2nd class citizens. The moment we entered there was not a greeting. We were asked what do you what do want to do with an attitude. I stated I have never used their range and I have a weapon on me. So may I have the rules & regulations. The young man snatched the weapon out of my hand which was cleared & magazine free, & he was aware of that. He said how about you keep it in the holster. I asked for oil, he said with a sigh I don't what we have. He was very condescending throughout our entire encounter. & the young lady sat in that chair rolling her eye as if she doesn't want to be bother. So I am reading the reviews and I don't understand why some people are so negative. It is a gun range. It serves its purpose. The staff is very nice. The owner Kristina is a wonderful woman and a veteran. I even took my LTC course there and the Instructor Bill was very professional and informative. I wonder if the people leaving bad reviews are just jerks or all round unhappy people. The range is clean, nice and has a nice selection of guns for rental. If you are complaining about not enough guns for sale you should look at what the sign on the outside of the building says. THE GUN RANGE what that means is it is a place to shoot guns not necessarily to buy guns. They have a very limited selection as do most gun ranges. I suggest you go up the street about a mile and you fill find a nice gun store. If you purchase a gun there you will have a hard time shooting it there. You will be able to complain on yelp about that. read more

Very overpriced and if you subscribe, they have a clause in their contract that allows them to continue to charge you after your year membership is complete and, in my case, when asked within the range if I were renewing my membership i answered "no" they waited a years' worth of accumulated debt with no notification then hit me with a large bill through a debt collection agency. So, if you sign any contracts with this business make sure you have written confirmation of cancelation and keep is for at least a year if not longer. There are several other gun ranges in the area that will treat you better and not conduct questionable practices. read more

Great place for gun storage. They offer the service for a reasonable price without any unnecessary hassle.

The price is outrageous for hourly rate. Save your money, drive a few more miles down the road and shoot ALL DAY for the same price as their hourly rate. They have also been on the news for amount of lead exposure in facility. read more

Came here one weekend with my wife for her first time shooting , they charged us a great rate and we had a great time , came back a second time and they tried to charge us an extra $15 fee for my wife shooting with me. After explaining to the manager the confusion on their pricing, he just said that there was some miscommunication and his employees messed up previously , not to mention charging crazy rates for amp targets and etc. this place would be great if it wasn't so over priced read more

I cancelled my membership to The Gun Range in December from lack of use due to Covid regulations. The facility said I missed the cut off for the 30 day cancellation notice so I would be charged for membership in January. It's now March, soon to be April, and I'm still being charged. I have called countless times in regards to the cancellation not being processed and asked for a refund for both February and March. I gave the manager this last week to refund me both months. I was told that it was my bank denying the refund and that they weren't sure why I was still being charged. The manager said that a point I may have to contact my bank. So I did. They've put a stop payment on the account from billing me anything further, but now I'm out bank fees because of it. The bank also made it clear that the refund process is started at the business not with the bank. I find the explanations of why this still hasn't been rectified a little absurd and feel there is a sort of "reluctance" to even refund me, though I am in the right about this situation. I have yet to be made whole and have decided that the best course of action for me is to spread this information as far out as I possibly can. Though I am only one person I can reach many and I guarantee the next person who reads this will reach many more. read more

I greatly enjoyed shooting at this range. It's the cleanest range I think I've ever been to and the staff are super friendly and helpful. I've been shooting for a long time and Garrett was still able to give me some good pointers. If you haven't been, I'd definitely recommend it - great for beginners up to more experienced shooters trying to escape the Texas heat. My one recommendation would be to have clear distance markers on the rifle range for zeroing. read more

So i went to the Gun range today " when someone shows you who they are .... believe them " i went in today to inquire about range time it seemed the 3 three people at the counter has no interest at all one young man seemed to be struggling with a computer and the other two were more involved in their own conversation . when i finally got someones attention to inquire about range time i got a very cold " $30.00 for and hour and theres memberships to which he turned his back and moved on to someone else who had just approached the counter. very disappointing. needless to say i won't be returning. My hope is management won't dismiss this as someone who is just disgruntled and use it as a tool to retrain their staff. so hopefully the next new guest won't feel as disheartened as i am. read more

A great place to shoot. If you shoot a lot, I would recommend purchasing a membership as it will save you money and you get some perks along with it. It's clean and comfortable, it has restrooms and even a small snack bar. The staff are knowledgeable and have been willing to answer questions each time I've asked. read more

They WILL take your money. They WILL tip you off. If you buy a membership, please read the fine print. If you pay for the gold. You will have a a small amount of weapons to actually rent from. You will pay for the ammo. You only get 5-10 gun rentals a year. It is not worth it. You cannot buy out of their contract. If you want to cancel your membership. Do NOT do it on the phone. You have to walk in and sign paperwork. Get a copy of your paperwork and if necessary and cancel your card that's on file if so they won't charge you after you decide not to renew your account. I have met 1-2 really nice guys there, most of them are prior or currently in the military I believe. Just please spend your money wisely. $100/month is absolutely not worth it. I called several times and texted to try and get my money back that they charged me for wrongfully. They never refunded me the extra month. I could never reach the owner to deal with this. They WILL put the situation off to the side until you stop bugging them. They are really only in this for your money. Terrible customer service. Please beware. read more
