Ask the Community - Axe Monkeys Fort Hood

My company is looking for something fun to do when we are off. We would be looking at 12-person group during the week. I do not have dates and times yet. How hard is it to set up?

Not hard at all just give us a call during operating hours and we will help you get it set up!

Games to play indoors like darts and axe throwing. We came here to eat, did not participate in any games. Several TVs to watch a game and they will change the channel if requested. If you plan on ordering alcohol, you need to show your id at the front before being seated then they give you a wrist band. The beer wall is self serve with numerous choices. You have to provide a credit card then you swipe a beer card for every pour which charges you by the ounce. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Numerous people will check on you. The food was decent. Sandwiches are big and messy. Highly recommend the sweet potato fries which are crinkle cut. I ordered a French 75 cocktail, a simple classic - it was NOT good. It lacked bubbles and was missing the classic lemon twist. They need training from an experienced mixologist. Bathroom was big and nice but very dark in the stalls.

I split a burger and fries with the hubby for a ceremony after work, and honestly the food was ok. The employees were not bad. I didn't even get to play any games so im a little bummed. I hope they can find a new venue. But HH definitely needs more fun outing places like this

Fantastic customer service, well explained and no wait when we got here…read more Planned a date night for mg husband and myself on a Saturday at 6:15pm. We did rage room and added on axe throwing at check out. (Pro tip: if you add on an extra service you get 10% off and you can book it in advance, although we did it for same day.) Rage room was fun, it be great if the room had a little AC bc you will sweat! Also would be cool to listen to some music to help you blow steam. (We played "break stuff" - Limp Bizkit on our phone) Time went by a little faster than we thought since it was 30min when you book but we had a 15min timer. (Another tip if you want video clip of your experience ask for it before starting) Axe throwing was cool. We played Cricket. Definitely will be coming back. We received loyalty card with stamps. After 4 visits your 5th visit is free!

We had also brought our own TV and bottles to smash (which was ok). As we were walking in the door, my friend gets a text asking to push our reservation as we see people still in the rage room. They tell us to come back in 15-20 minutes so we decide we'll go to the bar that's walking distance. We grab and drink and come back, there's people suiting up, the people who had a reservation AFTER us. They did not call or text us letting us know to come since it was our turn to go. They tell us to wait so we did in our cars. After 15 minutes we go inside. A man named Sloan, apologized on his coworkers behalf and gave us some extra bottle to smash. They allocate 20 minutes per party on the website so the turn around is fast. If a party takes too long it throws off the whole schedule. Sloan was very nice and we had a great time once it was our time to go. We got to play our own music and since we brought extra things to smash we used up the whole 20 minutes.

We recently visited Lone Star Entertainment, formerly The Breaking Point, and decided to try out…read moretheir rage room where you break items. We selected the "smash therapy" option. It was $50 per person for 30 minutes, and initially I thought, 30 minutes? That's not enough time. Well, let me tell you, by the time those 30 minutes were up, I realized it was plenty of time! You get 36 items per person to smash, and everything is set up and ready to go when you arrive. The room can accommodate up to nine people. Full disclosure, there were four of us, and I felt like that was a good number. With nine people, I imagine it might be a bit of a tight fit, or at least you'd have to take turns smashing things. They provide crowbars if you opt to use them for smashing items to get the job done, or just throw the items if you choose as well (on the back designated wall) - you get suited up before all the fun begins. I must say, there is something incredibly cathartic and satisfying about breaking glass! The staff was really friendly, and I especially appreciate that this is a family-owned, mom-and-pop business. A couple of things to know before you go: arrive 10-15 minutes before your selected time slot you purchased online, so you can get checked in, suited up, and ready to start at your designated time. You also have to sign a waiver before your arrive, but it's a simple quick process. You can bring your own Bluetooth speaker and camera/phone to record the fun! PRO TIP - bring a tripod for your phone/camera to capture the adventure! We created a fun playlist, very fitting for the experience. It definitely added to the atmosphere. They also offer other activities, including a splatter room where you can throw paint as well as separate offering for axe throwing. I'd suggest checking out their website to see which experience best suits your interests and budget - as each experience they offer comes in a different flavor. Altogether, we had a really great time! Grab your friends or family and go break some stuff. It's a great way to let loose, laugh, and do something a little different. Would we return? Absolutely!

The guys in the front desk were very friendly, they let us connect to their speaker through Bluetooth and I played some hard rock music that I found fitting for the occasion. The session lasts 25 minutes. I added 2 TVs to smash, those are very hard to break since they only have metal bars and not sledgehammers as other rage rooms, I'd avoid purchasing them as extra next time. The guys were nice and gave me an extra computer monitor to break, it was fun! They also have 1 fridge and a broken washer that you can smash. Very therapeutic!
