History

Established in 2021.

Spending quality time with our family has always been a priority. Our fondest memories were of throwing a regular old frisbee back and forth in the front yard. Disc Golf was introduced to us by a close friend in 2014. During that time, we played on occasion just to have fun together as a family with our friends. We were not aware of the differences between a driver or a putter. Later that same year, our friend passed away and so did our desire to learn the sport. Seven years later, we were reintroduced to disc golf by another dear friend. He taught us in depth how to play, took us to local courses, and advocated growth of the sport. We became more involved, registered for our PDGA numbers and recruited anyone we came across. We became addicted to the sport and collection of rare stamped discs. Our collection began to grow into several rooms of our house until someone teasingly told us we were "Disc Aholics", which later inspired the name of our Disc Golf Store, DiscaHolics!
