Drew was super nice ! And apparently we are really good at axe throwing (who knew I would be?) we played a couple games, then got to throw some more challenging items (damn you, shovel). One of the games involved giant jenga and it was fun! Nice atmosphere, friendly folk, pretty decently priced. Definitely going back. read more

What a great place. We had an appt on a weekend morning and the 3 of us first-timers had a blast. They sell bottled beer, cheap... some snacks and sodas. The place is small, but well maintained. One of the staff mentored us along the way. The coolest part is the other objects they let you throw near the end of your appt. Not gonna spoil it for anyone by posting what those objects are. read more

I didn't know what to expect at Waco Axe Company after hearing we were going there to celebrate my daughters birthday. We are Californians and rarely handle such weapons. We were presently surprised when we walked in. I was thinking big burly men drinking beers and axes flying everywhere. We were welcomed by the crew and Kelvon as we had a reservation for a 2 hour session. Kelvon who was our assigned Axe throwing guru was welcoming, professional, and very patient with us. He got us throwing axes like like pros in no time. It was great experience and the axe throwing games were great. Thanks Kelvon and Waco Axe! read more

Went to Waco axe throwing to celebrate graduation from Baylor. A better time could not be found. The whole family loved it! Our instructor name was Charlie, he was absolutely awesome, polite and patient. He facilitated fun games with the family and ensured we all had a great and safe time. Thank you Charlie! My husband and I decided to try this place out for a fun date night. We were definitely not disappointed. After some coaching from the incredible staff we were able to really enjoy our time there. We scheduled a hour a it really flew by because we were having fun and getting competitive. I will also mention the impressive drink prices because we didn't expect drinks to be that affordable since they are usually very expensive everywhere else. Next date night, we will definitely be back. read more

We had driven by Waco Axe company many times and were intrigued. So to celebrate my son's birthday, our family of 4 decided to try something new and different. I'm so glad we did! We had a blast! Thomas and Bwefa were patient and encouraging as they taught us how to throw our axes. We played a variety of fun games and had some friendly competitions. Our teenagers had as much (or more) fun than we did. We also had the chance to throw knives, ninja stars and shovels. As dangerous as it sounds, it's in a very controlled and safe environment. I'm so glad we got out of our comfort zone and tried something new. We all can't wait to go back! read more

Great place to go for a date or with a group of friends! Neither I nor my date had ever been axe throwing so we didn't really know what to expect. Travis was incredible and trained us on how to properly throw an axe over handed, one handed, and even underhanded! We even got to throw two axes at once! After we were sticking the axes in the board pretty consistently, he asked if we wanted to play a competitive game (similar to darts) and even kept score for us. Cheap price for a great experience! We will definitely be back! read more

I have been at the pool the last 3 weekends (4 Xs total) this Summer and it is truly 5 stars! The check in is super easy. I paid $5 each time (a discount for C.Hill) residents as well as your guest. They do take cash or card which is convenient. The line is never long, really non existent most of the time. Parking is a breeze especially if you get there for open swim which begins at 12 noon. The majority of the lounge chairs are shaded and you don't have to worry about anyone taking/moving your belongings as you enjoy the water. The lazy river is extremely clean and well kept and the floaties are in abundance and FREE! Everyone is respectful in the pool! At any given time there can be newborn babies to the seniors and every age in between so being courteous is just as important as having fun! The music is great too! They play EVERYTHING including Spanish songs on Cedar Hill Tunes. There is one lazy river, one slide which is so much fun and never a long line, as well as a larger pool that is wheelchair assessable too. It was in this pool that my BF taught me to swim this Summer so the Cedar Hill Lagoon will forever be memorable to me! They also have about 7 cabanas that you can rent out for your private event. The bathrooms have great air flow and are pretty well kept with no trash on the ground an I definitely appreciated the cleanliness. They also have showers too. The lifeguards are also professional and they appear to have fun too. There is food available if you get hungry. A CH police officer does make his/her round at the pool too so it definitely makes you feel safe an at ease. I hope the Lagoon continues to be a fun, clean, memorable place for my future summers!

The Waco Axe Company is truly an amazing experience. The staff and coaches there are very friendly. I had never thrown an axe before stepping foot into the building, however, when I walked out I had stuck the axe(s) multiple times. They also have other instruments that you can throw as well such as a shovel! Who wouldn't want to chuck a shovel at the wall!
