I bought a electric Rv jack paid $214 with extra warranty walk out 1-2 minutes later walked back in it seemed to expensive decided to return it. With out realizing the amount I received because the cashiers and the lady that was there were complaining I had just bought it, turned out they didn't give me the full amount only $171. The kept $38. Dollar but didn't not know it till I checked my wallet a few days later after I got out from the hospital. They had to have had and over amount at the end of that day but they said no so they are keeping my money stole my money. I'm a true Christian and I don't lie. My husband died recently and as a handyman, he had every tool you can imagine. Unfortunately, my brother and son snatched those tools up so fast I had no idea what I had and what was left! That's OK, what would I do with that stuff anyway? I mean I am 75+!!! Well, I watch YouTube and am amazed at what people make on there...including the women!!! I just have to try, right? I am moving into a new home in a few weeks, and I kept thinking about the things I will need to do that require a few tools. I would have come in to Harbor Freight earlier but a storm rolled in. I came in around 7something and 2 employees were so kind and helpful. They guided me to a saw, drill and sander and a few items I will use. I was headed to check out when this very rude old man with white hair with a grumpy attitude basically said, in an unfriendly tone; "Maam, we are closing". His tone and words the most offensive to me as I spent $160+ and just needed help. In fact, when I walked in he was unwrapping moving blankets and he didn't greet me or even pause to acknowledge me. I had to find help because he made no effort to ask if I needed any! I value good service and the 2 who helped me gave it to me. Grumpy Pants could have cared less. I am still angry because the people in a service industry have no idea what customers might be going through...such as the loss of a spouse!!! By far the best customer service I've experienced. The employee Robert and the manager John were extremely professional and helpful, I had purchase a 10x17 canopy with a 2yr warranty about a year ago and when I went to exchange due to a tear in the tarp a year later I wasn't found In their system. I'm a member with harbor freight for years and on big purchases I normally get the warranty as I did with my generator the day prior with them for 2 yes as well, and I love shopping there. They were courteous enough to override and honor the fact that I had purchased the 2yr warranty and it wasn't showing up that I had done so. They exchanged it. I have shopped here ,bought a lot of equipment. They have great pruning tools, which as a florist I use a lot. My husband has bought an airless, sanders, septic line cleaner. The list is long, last week we bought a airless to go help paint my sons new home. We spend close to $300. For machine, oil, extended warranty. My son's home is in Athens, Texas. There was no water, and wouldn't be any for six weeks. So we just rolled the paint on. We took back the airless, never opened, box in An condition five days later. We were charged $40.00 for restocking fees. I was told they have so many people returning tools after they used them. We had not even opened the box, or even taken the airless out of our car. So we paid the $40.00 to restock it. I was not happy though! I will shop elsewhere, I feel as a senior citizen, I was taken advantage of. I am 70 years old. And there are no signs posted , for restocking fees. So buyer's beware! And I'm a member, shows all our purchases over the years. But the young man said he didn't care how long or how much I spend there. read more

I have been trying to buy some lights that match the ones I already have but they have been sold out all summer. I asked if they could hold them for me and the manager said that I would have to come the morning of the shipment because they only do same day holds. I was there this morning when the doors opened but the employees said the manager (who wasn't there btw) had put them on hold for somebody else YESTERDAY. This place is the tool mans heaven! I find all the things and more that i need here at a very discounted rate. there are always specials. they always have a 20% off coupon to help. I think sometimes some of the staff could be a little nicer not so dry. I still keep coming back. The products are priced to sell.
