Has anyone had a positive experience buying flooring from Home Depot? Well here is my experience: -Scheduled HD to come measure -Got text from HD to call customer service to give them the flooring product that I was interested in -CS couldn't find the product even though I had the model #, internet # and store sku #. Was told to wait until the tech came to measure -Tech came but had no way to look product up so he noted the info for the department that quotes the job -Received call from Lance, the person putting together my quote. He couldn't find the product either so suggested I go in to the store for assistance (side note, it is on the HD website and shows plenty in stock) -Went to the store yesterday and while waiting for help I looked at the special order section. Found a floor that I liked for $2.29/sq ft but was told that was an in store price but no longer in stock and now only available online (at $3.59 sq ft and plenty in stock!). Then I found another floor that I liked for $2.99 sq ft but same thing, only a store price but no longer in stock and now only available online (at $4.99 sq ft and plenty to ship)!! WHY HAVE PRICES IN STORE IF YOU CAN'T ORDER THOSE FLOORS FOR THAT PRICE BUT YOU CAN AT A MUCH HIGHER PRICE ONLINE?!! Now what? Every floor I picked has had an issue. Measuring department doesn't speak to the store, store doesn't speak to the online department...frustrating! Flooring Specialist, Theodore at HD Store 6863 was extremely helpful. He called the managers who were all in a meeting so he spoke with the assistant manager, Mike. After waiting for 30 minutes I had to leave for an appointment but Theodore said he would call me back with an answer from Mike. Manager and assistant manager decided there was nothing they could do for me and basically said sorry that two of our floors were plainly displayed with prices but so sorry, you can't get either one because they are no longer available in store...oh but you can order from OUR HOME DEPOT website and pay much more!!!!! #homedepotstore6863 #homedepot #homedepotcomplaints #homedepotflooring Guess I'm going to go to #loweshomeimprovement where we get a military discount #thankyoulowes

Purchased a new home in belton a year ago, wanted to change my door. Used the home services at home depot, the Mill works dept did a great job helping me in setting up the door insert for my entryway. We used the company Zabitat. Shannon was great setting up my appointment, very informative and friendly. Jesse did an amazing job with the install! He was in and out in under an hour. We used our original door and had the insert ordered. It was less than ordering a new door with a decorative glass in it. My husband and I are 100% satisfied with this service from beginning to end!

Was in line for 45min on an order i placed and paid for on the app. I am considering taking my business to Lowes from here on out.

Ramp on a miter box? Never seen that before!

They don't accept Apple Pay. But the staff are more helpful than the Temple Lowe's and were a bit easier to find when I needed help.

Despite the fact that I'm not a home improvement store fan, I have to say this is a great Home Depot.

I was not impressed with Appliance Express. I contacted them because my 3 year old Whirlpool oven…read more(that was in the house when I bought it) kept randomly losing power. I wasn't sure if it was an electrical issue in the house or a problem with the oven, but I started with the appliance. I made an appointment with Appliance Express--they couldn't tell me until the day before what time they'd come out, so I had to allocate the entire day to stay home. The day before they texted me with a time range, so narrowed it a bit. On the day of the appointment the repair guy called me when he was on his way, which was helpful. The repair guy was very nice but didn't strike me as being terribly knowledgeable about our particular oven. However, he suggested that it needed a software update (which required first connecting the oven to our WiFi). He gave me a phone number to Whirlpool support who could assist in connecting the oven to our WiFi and downloading the update. He barely touched the oven, other than to look at the current software version on the display. But for that helpful little piece of advice about needing a software update I was charged $162.36 by Appliance Express. They could have just told me over the phone, before someone ever came out, to try that solution first. I got the oven connected to our WiFi (I'm a retired IT guy and am very intentionally judicious about what I connect to our home network as I'm very aware of the security and performance/bandwidth implications of connecting devices willy-nilly). Once connected, I had trouble getting the update to install. The repair guy watched for a little while and then left. I called the Whirlpool number and they were very helpful in getting it sorted out (it turned out there was something they had to initiate on their end). After the software update I have had no problems with the appliance (other than I think it's stupid that an oven requires Internet connectivity and software updates to function). So, in the end Appliance Express identified the likely problem so that I was able to take care of it myself, but they charged me $162.36 for that little nugget of information. They could have just suggested over the phone that I try that first before they came out.

After scheduling a…read moreservice appointment for my extended warranty, i received ongoing messages for times and tech arrival. Since they had washer make and model, he brought the right parts. It only took about 15 minutes to repair my 22 year old washer. I would highly recommend Appliance Express. Every business should be so well run and professional. Cyndi in Leander

Update: The assistant manager, Vance, reached out to me and asked what happened with my experience…read moreand if I would come in to give him a chance to assist. He was extremely helpful and we ended up purchasing a back door from him. Vance also took the time to discuss the process Tri-Supply uses to produce/order doors. Because they do construction in-house, it makes getting your a door a month shorter than if you purchase through Lowe's. We do plan to use Tri-Supply if we purchase a front door as well.

I cannot in good conscience recommend Tri Supply to anyone for any reason. Our experience with them…read morewas an absolute nightmare from start to finish, and it's astounding to me that a company can function with this level of incompetence and carelessness. We purchased a $1,300 custom back door from Tri Supply because our home was brand new, and the builder had already used Tri Supply for the existing doors. They had all the specifications and exact measurements, so this should have been a simple transaction. We met with Catherine, who placed the order for us since we wanted to replace our full-length glass back door with one that could accommodate a dog door. The first door arrived a few weeks later. After taking apart our original door, removing all the hardware, and preparing to install the new one, we discovered it was a foot too short. A glaring but forgivable mistake. Catherine apologized, admitted the error, and assured us she would fix it. The incorrect door was picked up the next day, and we waited another week and a half for the replacement. When it arrived, it looked correct, so we once again went through the painstaking process of removing and reinstalling hardware on a nine-foot solid door--only to discover that this one was 3/16 of an inch too wide, making it impossible to fit. Handling and rehanging a massive, heavy door like that is no small task, and the level of frustration we felt cannot be overstated. I am a disabled veteran with back issues so this was a tall order, quite literally. We reached out to Catherine again, stayed polite and patient, and asked for someone to come measure the door properly. Instead, we were told to measure it ourselves, which we reluctantly did. Tri Supply then instructed us to leave the door on our front porch for pickup. It sat there for five days before they finally retrieved it, despite multiple calls from us. Another week and a half passed before the next door arrived. By this point, we were beyond exhausted with the ordeal. This door finally seemed to fit--but it was damaged. It had scratches, scrapes, scuffs, and even footprints on it, as if it had been dragged across concrete and treated with complete disregard. This was the final insult in a process defined by delays, negligence, and incompetence. While the door eventually fit, the entire experience was an infuriating lesson in how a company can fail its customers at every step. Tri Supply demonstrated a shocking lack of professionalism, accountability, and care for both their products and their customers. If you value your time, your money, or your sanity, avoid this company at all costs. Only consider them if you have no other options and are prepared for weeks of frustration, repeated mistakes, and careless handling of your property.
