He looked and after a bit found I didn't have much memory left after the recent update. After helping to fix the problem he reminded me that it was a temporary fix that would probably only last till the next update or so. He found a promo where I could get a new iPhone for a minimal charge. I was very fortunate. Both him and the manager were very understanding. I am grateful.
