Said we had little money and Amani lied to us and voided our current contacts that were 2 months to complete, just to upgrade us and charged us hundreds and said it was for taxes and we would get a credit. She added HOME OWNERS INSURANCE!!! They don't give receipts and make it look like it will be on your next bill. We went from $284- per mo and our new bill went to $750. Why would VZN allow this place to operate and scam families with kids. What kind of persons does that ?!?! She told us the place was no different than an official store ! The onetime charges were wild . We are still in the process of getting our bill less than a car payment. DO NOT SHOP HERE! Kyla and Amani the store manager are extremely deceptive and unethical! We came in to upgrade our 3 phone lines on Black Friday. The ladies (Kyla & Amani the store manager) that helped us seemed kind enough at the time. It wasn't until I got an itemized receipt from another Verizon the next day that I saw how much they scammed us. Kyla did not provide a receipt when we left although we asked for one. There were "activation fees" per each device they touched. I understand upgrade fees, $35 upgrade fees were on our next monthly bill. However, these were additional $39.99 fees on top of that. She omitted any fees they charged to assist with turning on new devices. When I asked her what we were paying for she gave us the total saying it was only our "device sales tax". We knew that didn't add up, and we were told we'd receive a credit on our next bill. We discovered Kyla switched my husband's business phone line with my mother's phone in Oregon. For 3 days he was unable to take business calls and effectively communicate with his clients. She cost us about $2k that weekend. I had to call Verizon customer service daily for a week to rectify all this girl's mistakes. Another being that Kyla added their Asurion insurance to two phone lines without our permission. Insurance was never discussed or mentioned. Kyla's sales practices were completely dishonest and malicious. 3 SIMPLE phone line upgrades turned into $100's of dollars in pointless fees, $2k in client losses, a week of customer service calls, and Black Friday bill credits promises that never happened. Helped me navigate through several customer service representatives to deal with an issue regarding issues related to a previously disconnected acct. He stayed on the phone from beginning to end until all concerns on my end were addressed and even made sure that customer service compensated me for my time and stress with an account credit. I came in just to pick up a phone I ordered online that is paid for and can just be handed to me. They only have one guy here at 5pm that clearly didn't know how to do the functions he was there to do. He was stuck trying to activate some phones with a couple that was there. I asked him if he could take 30 seconds from troubleshooting what I'm guessing he messed up to go in the back and get my phone. He says no and continues to fumble through what I expect is just his job. So now I get to sit there for over a half hour just to get my phone that could have just been handed to me. Mind you, I'm the ONLY other customer in the store. This place couldn't even handle two customers. This is the second location I picked a phone up from today. The first store took 3 minutes and it was packed with customers. I will never come back to this location and I promise I will tell anyone willing to listen how awful their customer service is. Stay away from them especially if the area manager is there. A small girl, black hair and glasses. The gentleman worker was helping me with a simple hot spot replacement. She came over and wanted to sign me up for a business account to get a better hot spot which I didn't need. I proceeded to giver her the info she asked for. Now while this is going on they are transferring over everything to the business account. The best hot spot, another line for business etc etc. Well she tried to run it through 3 times and finally I said look just give me my hot spot that I came in for. Finally she left us along and the sales guy proceeded. Now he has to put everything back the way it was. After 1 1/2 hours I was finally out of there. Now 3 weeks later I'm camping in a different state which is originally why I wanted a better hot spot. We stream tv shows, I work off my laptop and my phone. It worked fine at first but after a few days it wasn't connection.I go to the local Verizon store and after she looks at everything she tells me I still have an added line hooked up and the hot spot is trying to go off that line. She has it removed and I'm on my way. Four days later it's not working. It won't let me stream at all. It kicks me off my computer and my bill came in and it's $120 more than it should be. I go back down to Verizon, same girl who has been great. The tech on the phone is trying to troubleshoot. I said look after an hour I don't have time just give me a new one. She tells me they don't have them there so the tech on the phone makes me an appointment at one 5 miles away. The other girl on the phone is saying since they had to put all of your services back to original they are charging you for a hook up fee and still the other line. She got it straight and I go to the Verizon store 5 miles away. The salesman there tells me he can't trade it out because I got it at a Victra store and they are not one. To go back to the other store. I told him they don't have any or sell them. The manager came out and started arguing with me that they can't exchange but yet it's a Verizon store. I took it back to the store the girl was helping me, turned it in and said take it off my bill. They did exactly that. This all stems from this store area manager trying to up her sales when I just wanted a simple hot spot upgrade. She was pushy and didn't told the sales rep who was helping me she sounds like a used car salesman. It's bad enough the hot spot didn't work but 4 phone calls to the tech department and having to go and visit the stores 4 times is just too much. My account was completely screwed up. read more

I went in to the store to get assistance with international roaming for my upcoming trip. The technician who assisted me was great but another employee in the store, a female, walked over to the computer my technician was at talking to me, reached over his shoulder to look something up and then began talking loudly on her phone although I was currently on speaker phone with my technician and someone it international assistance and she was speaking so loudly that I couldn't hear the guy talking to me. I called that to her attention and told her that I was trying to talk to someone on the phone and she snapped back , I am talking to someone. It was totally inappropriate and unprofessional for her to do that as I was discussing details about my contract and could not hear what I was being told. Do not come here, they just want to meet their quota and sell you on stuff you don't need. Adding a smartphone line was only $20, but now it's $80 and I was planning on adding a line next year. Unethical sales practice at this store from sales rep Kayla and Manager Amani. READ before going to this store or any Victra Authorized Dealer for Verizon. As a customer for over 20 years with Verizon this is the worst ripoff, lied to experience in my whole life. I never write on Yelp but this time to help other customers to avoid what I went through. Never trust the Sales person without reviewing the contract before you sign !!! If she states they don't print out ask to look at the screen to see what you are signing up for. ASK for all upfront cost before you let them trade in your phones. She took our old phones and stated AFTER if you return within 30 days there will be $50-stocking fee. I asked if my old plan will change because if it does then I don't want the promo trade-in will buy the phones up front. Stated my OLD PLAN would NOT CHANGE but it did. Despite I asked over 5 times and had family and the Manager around hearing me asking. Customer Service at Verizon and her stated miscommunication. I stated when someone say NOTHING is going to CHANGE ON YOUR PLAN (I even told her I have a grandfathered old account plan therefore don't change anything) I understand just add cost to pay for new phones is very simple English to understand. Once they mess up your contract with Verizon, you CANNOT change it back !!! My overall discount with the new plan does not equate to my old plan. Should have just pay new phone full price and keep my old phone X which was in perfect condition. The COST would still be LESS than my trade in discount if I paid the full price for the 2 new iPhone 15. Did not need a 4th line but she stated needed to add to get the trade in promotion and the line was FREE but it was not. The new added line before discount is $65 per month. New overall bill EXTRA PAYMENT PER MONTH is $80 for a line I don't have a phone for 36 MONTHS !!! She also stated NO CONTRACT but Verizon customer service said because I had the trade in it will be for 36 months contract. My new phone was defective and when they ordered a new replacement phone added a new line with different phone number without my permission and charged me for the full cost of the phone. I have proof of the order statement a new line was added. After complaining to Verizon customer service they emailed the store to remove the extra line that I NEVER Authorized. Stated my WiFi has a new update router so gave me the new router stating FREE nothing changes. Found out they cancel my old contract and this was a brand new contract. All so they can make a sale. I went back next day to get my pretty new iPhone X back after seeing my big increase in my contract at home after I logged in online. Customer service at Verizon told me to go back to the store they will make notes to give me back my old phone. The Sales Rep said their Manager said they don't give back trade-ins. I talked to the Manager Amani and she said they sent out the phones same day. I said Monday is a holiday and I know UPS does not pick up that day. Sales Rep also missed $400 in credit and stated she needs to fill out paperwork. At this point I am tire of fighting on this bill and just pay whatever rip off amount for 36 months. Customer Service at Verizon stated I needed to go to the store for any detail information. I wasted too much of my time and stress to go back there. Went in on November 21st after I locked myself out of my phone and Apple said it would take a month to reset appleID! My son had a baseball tournament in the area (we live an hour away) so I was happy to see that on a Sunday there was no one in there and buying a new phone would be relatively quick. Or so I thought.... The young girl working was very sweet and patient with my two little ones. BUT my issue was that I spent over an hour there while she tried to upsell me on everything. It worked as I ended up getting a watch that I didn't really need but she stated it was basically free(?) not sure about that. My real issue is that she told me my first card declined and without use of my old phone I couldn't confirm without my phone so I used another card. Everything worked and I chose for receipt to be emailed so I wouldn't miss my sons game that had already started. Two weeks later I notice I was DOUBLE CHARGED. Both my banks statements were charged the same amount, date, and store. So when I get a text (I don't recall ever opting in to get texts from store employees) asking if I wanted to win a free cruise I decline and ask about the multiple charges. The employee looks into it and says to dispute it with my bank. So now two months later I'm still waiting for that to be cleared up. Today I go into the store near me and get a printed receipt and see that these stores are now charging a "setup fee" per device. The employee I asked said it's for them helping set up devices. I said well she didn't set anything up for me and never mentioned an extra fee. So she then tells me it's a "CUSTOMER SERVICE" fee!! So I paid an extra $50 for someone to real me in like a car dealer would, for over an hour when I was on a time crunch to get to my sons game?!?! WOW. Sounds to me like everything these days... extra fees and tips for everyone, paid for by the consumers because these businesses just don't make enough off overpriced electronics. Note to everyone: Check your Accounts ALWAYS. And purchase your electronics ONLINE if possible there's always a better deal and it'll save you the hassle of being talked into buying things you're not shopping for. read more

He INSISTED that I go to this location because he always has the best experience there with Justin. Piece of cake till you get home and first check the receipt for the "taxes and fees" and see he's charged you $19.95 a phone for Go Wireless activation ....not even a part of our plan or purchase!!! I decide to download the My Verizon app so I can get my free Apple Music and see $39.95 per phone activation fee, $13.95 per month fee per phone in iPhone protection!!! That's about $150 in undisclosed fees!!! Luckily Verizon customer service is very willing to refund the "bait and switch" tactic this guy used! Went in today with my brother to solve some issues with his account, and to look at getting a new phone for him. Assistant Manager Julian assisted us today. He was prompt, professional and super caring. He went through the ins and outs of every single question my brother had. Not only did he offer prompt, sufficient service, he assured that my brother got the best bang for his buck. He was able to answer any question we had, and found a plan that fit my brothers lifestyle much better. Brother chose the LG G5 (which ended up being an awesome phone), after hearing why even Julian would pick this phone for himself, he was sold. Julian made sure he had all the bells and whistles along with his new phone. Along with his great customer service, Julian has an EXCELLENT personality and great people skills. He offered good conversation while we waited during the process of gearing up a new phone. This is the only Verizon store I will go to from now on thanks to Julian! Beware of this and read every word of your contract. I went in to The store to add another phone line to my account. The associate offered me an iPad, telling me it was FREE OF CHARGE with the promo they were running. She said the only fee I would be charged was $10 a month for the added line.I received my bill & found out she charge me $630 for the iPad and put me on a financing plan!!?!?! When I realized this, I not only walked in, but also called the store several times. Every time they told me a manager wasn't in & they would have to call me back. I would leave my number & never heard a word. Verizon corporate told me that this is a satellite store, so their hands are tied and it is up to Go Wireless to make this right. I was told that I made the mistake of trusting the employee and not reading the 2 page fine print contract before signing. ****UPDATE to response below***I have called the number below several times and they are unwilling to make this right. read more
