They said I could have it replaced but really wasn't necessary. They could have easily replaced the screen and made $ from me but they were very honest. SAVE YOUR MONEY. The high reviews are for a free tempered glass. My iPhone had a thin line of broken pixels that otherwise barely obstructed the screen and a slight crack at the very bottom. Went to get it replaced. Phone worked horribly. Touch was delayed and sometimes I would try to text and it won't even register the letter. Called in. They replaced the screen. Phone STILL worked horribly. Asked for a refund. They said yes given they put back my old screen. I got back a screen that was broken to a point where I can't touch anything at all when my phone worked FINE with just a minor aesthetic issue before this. Needless to say, I came in with a working phone, came out with a phone that was useless. They would give weird excuses like "Well, that's just what happens when you get your phone fixed" or "It's part of the process". The employee was nice and very patient, 0 problems with him. The "boss" didn't look me in the eye the whole time during the refund transaction and didn't speak to me once. Again, if you need JUST a screen, go for it. But if your pixels are broken, save your money, save your time, and save your gas traveling over there. read more

Long story short, two days later I picked up my iPad which they called me and said they had fixed. Close to the bottom, there is two noticeable scratches.. 150$.. Sure enough, I had another device fail and brought it in for repair this past weekend. Unfortunately there was too much damage done to the device from being dunked in the pool and they recommended that I just purchase a new device rather than dealing with a costly repair, which made sense. It took several days for us to get to that resolution, but they didn't charge me anything for the diagnosis, which I thought was very fair. My only critique is that you have to stay on top of these guys and can't sit by the phone waiting for them to call with information on your repair. They are so slammed that I just think they are overwhelmed with performing the actual repair tasks than they are making phone calls to the customers. I hope it helps you to know this going in. This is a strange time in history we're going through so I tend to cut people a little more slack during this whole covid-19 mess. I like these guys and will definitely be back for more business when I ruin my next electronic device! read more

I have used smart phone repair twice now and have had completely different experiences. The first time (over 1 year ago for a cracked screen for an iPhone 8) the phone microphone didn't work afterwards. Then the front camera stopped working. After two or three visits they got it all dialed in, but it was definitely exhausting. 3 stars then. Ended up just buying a new phone shortly there after. They offer "S8 glass repair" via eBay for $69 so I contacted them via ebay to find out if I could purchase the repair and drop it off since I'm local but after two attempts to get a response over the course of 3 weeks they never replied. I then opted to call the company to find out if that was an option and was told that I absolutely could come and drop off the phone; however, the price would rise from $69 to $129. I was a bit taken aback by the price increase and the employee told me there's a chance I could drop it off and it would be repaired same day if they had it in stock but that was only if they had the part in stock. I asked if I could just purchase the eBay repair and drop it off without the expectation of "same day service" to circumvent having to go through the post office and they explained that wasn't an option but they could always try to talk to their boss to work out a deal of some kind of a deal but they'd have to call me back another day and let me know. 0 stars for their communication via their eBay storefront 0 stars for their inflexibility between internet and brick & mortar sales 1 stars for their pricing 4 stars for the honesty of the employee on the phone read more

Dropped my IPhone 7+ and brought it here to replace the screen, although the customer service was good, very polite and quick work, I have had issues with the new screen ever since they first day they "fixed" it. I took it back and spoke with the gentleman there, they replaced the screen again and apologized, literally the same day I was having problems with it again. The touch responsiveness is off and I regret ever coming here. Honest advice: bite the bullet and pay for Apple or certified work instead, it'll save you a headache.
