If you think you can delete my review and get away with it you will be mistaken. Be aware of Verizon they are nothing but a scam, company that will over charge you, steal your money and at the end send your name to collections. I'm planing to take legal action against them because it seriously makes me so mad just thinking they can do what they did to me to other people every day. Back in July 2023 I needed a prepaid sim card for international services so I called Verizon and got this service over the phone and while I had them on the phone I had my aunt to make sure I understood everything since I know they are a fraud and I didn't want to deal with them in the first place. They told me to go pick up the SIM card at one of their corporate stores in Santee which I went there and verified with the person to confirm that after 1 month the service will be discontinued I don't have to cancel or pay and he confirmed that. Right when I came back from my vacation I paid my bill and got rid of the SIM card. Then right after that my address changed, 3 months later I see bills from Verizon( when they told me I was purchasing prepaid account) so I take it to the same corporate store that I pick up the SIM card and they advise me to call customer service, I did that while I was still at the store. I spent 2 hours talking to them and eventually the person over the phone said they were going to waive the charges and close my account. I asked for a proof they said it will be in the notes. Tony the store manager was there listening to the conversation he also said he can't give me a proof but he assured me the notes are there and I don't have to worry about it. 2 months later Verizon sends my name to collection while I'm in the process of getting approved for a loan, so I go to the store again and they tell me the person who talked to you and said they will waive the charges never put these notes and with that they can't help me any further and that I have to go and call collection and pay it. Tony the store manager acted like he doesn't know why that happened and that there's nothing he can help me with. So you can imagine the frustration and everything that I had to go through for something that wasn't my mistake (their customer service employee didn't do what he said he will do and didn't add any notes) and the customer has no right to get proofs. I've called Verizon at least 6 times and every time it's at least an hour their employees don't speak English and are lost, they can't even locating the account they keep transferring you from one to an other and at the end they hang up in your face. read more

I have had a horrible experience with VERIZON! To start off, I currently have a credit in the amount of $1053.28. I have been paying $125 per week to my account ( in advance) so that I could buy my husband an iphone 6 plus and a case and a tempered glass protector for his birthday this Sunday and also replace my ipad air 2 which had been recently stolen along with the screen protector for it. . I was also going to buy a tempered glass protector for my iphone 5s as well. I went to the Verizon Store in my area (Santee) to do this. I spent about 2 hours with the sales team picking out the items and got out my credit card because I would have an additional charge of $245.00 So they were actually going to be making a large sale. When the sales associate went to make the sale,I was told that it was impossible to bill to my account because sometime in the last 6 months there was a return check in the amount of $125.00 (one of the credit payments) My account was never behind as I had a large credit. Because of this they placed a hold on the account and refused to let me use my credit towards my purchase.( a credit of $1053.28. I am in a verizon store, buying verizon products using my verizon credits and they wouldn't allow it!. I called after leaving the store and was placed on hold for 1hr and 28 minutes and spoke to a guy named jonathon who was going to talk to his boss and get back to me, which never happened. I then called again and after a long hold was told that I still cannot use my credit. They said they would send me a check for the credit which I would receive in 7-10 days, which unfortunately after my husband's birthday.I have been a very good business customer for the last 8 years, spending alot of money with verizon. I have bought fitbits, phones, speakers, ipads, etc. I am really upset!!!. BASICALLY VERIZON DOES NOT CARE IF THEY MAKE THEIR CUSTOMERS HAPPY AND DOES NOT CARE IF THEY KEEP THEIR BUSINESS! I am going to another competing company who will cut my bill by 50% and take care of the disconnection charges. GOOD RIDDENS VERIZON!!! read more

I had the most incredible customer service experience at this Verizon store, and I've been a Verizon customer for over 21 years, having encountered some less-than-stellar locations in the past. This was my first visit to this particular store, and the staff truly exceeded expectations. From the moment I entered, I was greeted by Alex, who checked me in and kept me updated on the expected wait time (which was only about five minutes, even during the busy lunch period). While waiting, Alex showed me some of the latest products. Then, I was greeted by my rep Jordan, who should have his own Verizon store someday. His kindness and attentive service made it seem like he had a personal stake in delivering excellent customer service. He wasn't pushy and carefully listened to my concerns about replacing a broken phone, explaining my options and assuring me that my data could be transferred from the malfunctioning device. Ultimately, I left as a very satisfied customer and will make a point to return to this Santee store for all my future Verizon needs. read more

Beware. They are con artists. My mother purchased a replacement feature phone (flip phone that doesn't have data) at the Verizon Wireless at 9824 Mission Gorge Rd Ste A in Santee. She paid $149. Since this didn't sound right I called Verizon Corporate to learn it should have only cost 99 cents. I then called the Verizon store in Santee to learn exactly how they ripped her off. They told her that a fitbit comes free with her phone. This makes no sense since the fitbit doesn't work with a feature phone. Of course, today they tell me that she simply needs to return the fitbit and her purchase would be 99 cents. No wonder their Yelp reviews are horrid. I'm so disgusted. Verizon my parents have been loyal customers for 10 years. They should be able to walk into one of your franchises and trust they won't be conned. read more

Normally I dread the fact i have to go into one of these stores, my last visit was horrible i asked to speak to a manger and the person who helped me must of picked up his customer service skills from a cereal box. I couldn't believe how he was speaking to me, he was very rude and disrespectful! However this last visit with my wife an employee by the name of Karesse, was extremely helpful and sure did a heck of a job making sure my wife had all her questions answered!!! She was polite and courteous, didn't rush my wife even though she had a lot of questions, Karesse was able to meet our needs and because of her we are keeping our account with Verizon!!! read more

I have had to bring my blackberry in 3x in the last 2 months or so...first the battery wasn't working...next the updates weren't working... CAN I PLEASE GET A PHONE THAT IS RELIABLE...? The staff is somewhat helpful but doesn't really listen to your needs. I said that this phone isn't even 3 months old and from the get go I am having problems with it...just give me a new phone...it takes FOREVER here to get anything handled...I waited almost 1 hours just to get a new battery and a update jeeze...don't bring a little one with because they will not be able to handle the wait :( read more

I bought galaxy 8 with the family plan from this store. but they had a scheme. we were told that we could get all the money back if we switch the phone from sprint to verizon. that's why I cancel the contract from sprint and made a new contract with verizon. but they didn't give my money back. they said I will receive that money not at once but in 2 years during my contract. later we found out this and try to cancel the contract but we couldn't. please don't trust what they say. read more
