Verizon is now screwing all customers with grandfathered data plans for additional $20 per month for no reason and for nothing more than greed. I've already explained to Verizon that I do not agree to the increase in price or that they are illegally changing the terms of my grandfather price of my data plan and they've been on notice since November 1 not to change or alter my plan in anyway. I will be seeking legal counsel and filing a class-action lawsuit against Verizon for changing the terms without my consent. Verizon is just greedy and I do not agree with what they are doing. I've been with Verizon for 20+ years and would never expect to be ripped off, now I feel ripped off and betrayed and I now have emotional distress from this change in terms without my consent. I will be suing accordingly once my new bill comes out and I expect others to follow and join me if fighting them in court especially for throttling my plan prior to the CEO announcement in September stating that they stopped throttling customers data. This company is a complete fraud for their actions and misleading advertisements. read more

Jorge provided great customer service. I was moving to a personal plan after having a business plan. He was super helpful in getting everything set up just the way I needed and would be most cost effective for our needs. We're going to get my partner setup as a second phone on the plan and will end up saving ourselves $90 a month. The only reason this isn't a 5-star rating is because there was an iPad training going on in the store for some new customers and the trainer was very loud in his instructions. It was just very noticeable and hard to hear each other at times with that in the background. I'm sure he had his reasons for projected as much as he was, it just affected our conversation by having that constantly in the background. read more

I got a new Droid 4 here yesterday. Love it!! I had been thinking about upgrading to a smart phone for about 6 months. I went in and was checking it out for a while. Sonya came over and was helpiing me with the features. She was so great! She even brought out her own phone to show me some features that she uses. My wife went into Verizon after AT&T tried to force us to pay a monthly payment just to purchase a new phone and also give us next to nothing in return for our 4S's that were in perfect condition. We were helped by Argel Valdez who went above and beyond. He spent nearly two hours helping us get the best deals possible, tranferring data for both our phones, and even got me set up with discounts through my employer. He was a perfect example of high quality customer service. Becasue of him we are excited to be Verizon customers and will always be referring people to him from now on. read more

I went in at 12:30 on a Wednesday, and only had to wait 5 minutes before I was helped, Kenner was very helpful and got me set up with two new lines on my account with phones active and ready to go and out of the store in about 20 minutes! Great service! read more

When I went in to buy a micro SD card, the guy actually told me they were free from my carrier! Which in effect, took business away from himself. That was really kindly and honest of him. I will definitely go back. read more

It was time for us to upgrade to the iphone 6. We have 3 phones on our account and we needed to do the upgrades in a staggered fashion as people weren't available on the same days. I handled the upgrades and each time worked with Sonya. She was so personable, patient and helpful. We had issues setting up the corporate discount through my husband's employment (our fault, not hers) and she came in on her day off to insure it got set up. The Santee California Trolley Square, store location is the best location we ever worked with. There is total harmony within and you can feel how well the employees work together. Our rep who helped us, Ben, was amazing. He helped to guide us to what our needs were and ensured he met all of them. He was patient, in a very busy store location, he took his time and shared his knowledge. He was professional, courteous, upbeat, and kind. We "wanted" to purchase with Ben because of all he did and all he gave. Very helpful staff, we had a team member named tristan help our family decide weather or not to get new phones based on our current bill and budget, pick new phones, upgrade to new phones, transfer data, and was helpful the whole way though the 2 hour process. Im sure this was excruciating for him but he never once looked irritated or annoyed. My phone recently died but I wasn't up for an "upgrade until June. We went in to get a cheap temporary phone to last me until then so my fiancé and I could both upgrade our phones together in June even though he was ready for one now. They were extremely helpful. The manager upgraded my phone NOW instead of waiting the 6 months so we both got new phones and they waved the activation fees. Super helpful and patient. Gave us all the options and it didn't feel like they were just trying to "SELL US" stuff we didn't want or need. read more

Horrible Horrible Horrible Customer service! And they lie too! I went in to see about upgrading my phone and they informed me that I would lose my unlimited data plan if I upgraded and that for the same amount that I had payed for my unlimited plan would be only 2g on the new plan. I said I did not feel comfortable with that and I would just purchase my phone that way I can save my unlimited data plan. The associate kept insisting that I did not use that much data and that 2g would cover me. Well, I decided I would go home and think about it. I came back 4 hours later and decided that I was going to just purchase the phone. As soon as I walked in and told the manager that I wanted to purchase the phone, he said an associate would be with me as soon as they could. I waited over twenty min., even though there were associates that were standing around. I got the impression no one wanted to help me. Finally and associate came over and I told him what I wanted. After my explanation he said he was still finishing up with another customer and would be back. He never came back. Another associate came over and started talking to me. He finally convinced me that going to 2 g would not be a bad thing and actually good. I inquired what would require lots of data usage, he said video streaming and music streaming. I said I did not do either. He said the 2 g would suit me perfectly. So I hesitantly agreed. I got my upgrade and a new contract. Immediately after he activated my new phone everything started to update. All the apps on the phone (30 of them) started to update. Before I left the store, 50% of my data had been used. The associate reassured me that I had 5 days left in my billing cycle and that I would not use all of it before my billing ended. I went home and got a text stating I had reached 80% data use. I had not done anything let alone call anyone yet. I just got the phone. After I got home I decided to see what apps I could uninstall and switch it from auto updates to manual updates because my data was being consumed without me using it. After I did that I placed my phone on charge and left it alone the rest of the night. The next morning I received a text stating that I had maxed out all my data allowance. What the hell?! The next day I went back in. All they could say was that my phone could of not done that. They were more worried about what app caused that. I just wanted my old plan back and wanted to pay the difference for the phone. The manager and the associate both tried to talk me out of it and were not listening to what I was telling them. Finally, the manager walked away and left me with the associate. He told me I needed to call customer service because he could not help me. I felt more like he just would not help me. At this point I am furious...I was lied to and manipulated into signing another contract. I just wanted to buy the phone initially and stay on my unlimited plan. I called customer service and pitched a fit explaining the entire situation. The customer service person was the only one who was on the phone willing to help and take care of me. He tells me to go back to the store return the product and repurchase the phone and he would take care of the unlimited plan. I go back in and the manager tells me it is going to be awhile. I explained that this was the 4th time I have been in two days and that I needed to get to work so I would like to be seen right then. She looked me dead in the eyes and said that there was a 30 min. wait. I was livid. I explained I understood that there are other customers, but I had been in 4 times and that I had not been taken care of the first 3 times. She did not care and she herself (being a manager) would not even attempt to help me. After about 5 min. the same associate was free to help with the return. After he returned everything he told me the amount and it was $35 less than what I paid. He said that they had to charge me a restocking fee. I asked why since I was repurchasing the phone and it would never reach the shelf. He said his manager told him that that fee is irreversible. I said get the manager now. He said he would be back and left to go talk to the manager. After about 5 min he comes back and says out of courtesy he would remove the fee. I was appalled! I will never ever do service and this location again. Management was unprofessional and staff was under trained and misinformed. So very disappointed in this company. What ever happened to customer service and taking care of the customer?!?!?! read more

ok so i went into this store (2nd one i'd been in today) hoping for much better customer service then the first store, i was sadly mistaken thinking it was a store issue not a company issue having poor customer service. When i first walked in i was greeted and asked what i needed i told him and he said well nothing we can do here u have to go on-line i then informed him i can't fix it on-line i had already tried and tech support told me to enter a store. I then asked to speak w/ someone else so i got another associate and they were just as bad and told me that they could not transfer my numbers to a new phone b/c their system doesn't support my phone (that i had gotten from them approx 2yrs ago). I then asked for the store manager and he basically told me he would not even attempt to port my numbers to a new phone and the only way to fix my current phone was to wipe it clean....(pics, voice mail, text messages, and CONTACTS) needless to say i was not very happy and did NOT end up getting a new phone guess i will be transferring to AT&T read more

I was in this store in Sept and was greeted immediately by a nice young lady and helped almost instantly by Tristan. He was AWESOME! Spent time with me and explained everything very well and was able to get me what I needed and wanted. He was VERY helpful, nice, pleasant and friendly. A month later when I had a question I called the store and his manager had him return my call when he was in the next day, which he did, and he cleared up my concerns and was again nothing but courteous and helpful. Unlike these other awful reviews I have read on here I am noting but impressed by this store and most especially by Tristan. He genuinely cares about his customers and wants to make your shopping experience a great one. (Being a retail person myself I really hate seeing all these negative reviews on here when non-retail people have NO idea what retail people deal with on a daily basis. And if they are bad reviews from people who work retail then you need to be more understanding when you have to wait a few minutes, etc....) I would definitely shop here again. Thank you!!! read more
