I was staying in the area and stopped in here to buy some snacks. This Target was located in the Trolley Square at Santee Town Center on the east side of Cuyamaca St just north of the 52 freeway. The location was easy to find and had a very large parking lot. The store layout was pretty standard so I was able to locate the items that I wanted. I found the aisles were kept clean, stocked, and well organized. Since I only had a few items, I was able to quickly use one of the self checkout kiosks to pay for my items before I was on my way. The prices weren't the lowest, but they were still pretty decent. read more

Starbucks had a beautiful barista I could see grabbing a Pike place black coffee where we smiled at each other! The office supplies section had smart TV units on clearance, plus mobile tablet apple a16 new on clearance for $299usd ipad. Yes... Accessories for any age including wireless sound system headphones outdoor speakers for maybe $10usd ... The best part is both a men's or women's restroom just over water for free! read more

I haven't been here in ages because Santee was kinda out of my way, but I did come during Black Friday sales, remember when Toys R Us still around doing crazy hard to find Xmas toys sales, yep me and a bunch of people lined up early in the morning trying to get that hot items. Well today I got to revisit it moment, still a huge store in the hub of a lot of other big stores Ross, Walmart, and Costco. So it is perfect to do some of your last shopping and toy hauling, unfortunately they still don't have any egg nog left, but it was the first time I saw a sample person at Target, he even asked me to take a picture of him and his booth so he could submit it to his company. Did an order pickup for a shoe I wanted that was not available at my store. As soon as I received notification it was ready, I made the drive 15 miles east only to find out that the Size 9 that I ordered and was told was ready, was actually a Size 11. Whomever was working, filled the order with the wrong size. Hire people that know how to read numbers. What a waste of time. I even went back to the shoe section and there was no 9, just another 11. Even after I returned the size 9, the website showed a size 9 available. Good luck. Don't trust this store or the employees - Customer Service didn't even apologize for their mistake. read more

A Target that has the exact same set up as the ones I go to in my area. Ease of finding things was well...easy. Same ole long lines though on weekends. Ended up picking up random items on a Saturday. This person must hate her job. I asked if I can get a receipt reprinted because the machine printed half of the receipt. She told me verbatim I should've picked out a better self check out machine as if I was supposed to know what works and what Doesn't. It Was condescending and unprofessional. I think target needs better. Customer service training for their employees, however, I will command the manager on duty, which he used exemplary customer service and use the proper verbiage, addressing the issue. What a crappy store!! From service to selection I am extremely disappointed. Per cat and jack policy you may return your cat and jack items if defective UP TO ONE YEAR FOR FULL REFUND OF ORIGINAL FORM OF PAYMENT MADE with original receipt. Which I had. I had receipt and my form of payment was my target red card. The purple haired bimbo IZZY doesn't think that's correct and said she will give store credit. I read her cat and jack policy from the website and she said that doesn't work at our store. I said it's world wide you don't make the rules so store manager DAVID came and said store credit and if I don't like it go to another store. I said UM NO , showed the policy, advised they are unable to ignore that policy and finally David agreed to do the return. Izzy also refused to help me at first because she didn't like that I was letting her know what the policy is. I did not yell, use profanity, or get unprofessional. I used a calm tone, used facts, and showed her the policies. She gave me attitude, was rude, and condescending all in front of my two year old!! How incredibly rude. I wish I could say this was my first issue at this store but it absolutely is not. Will NEVER shop here ever again. I used to be a Target junkie in my early twenties when I had no idea how to control my finances LOL but I've always loved Target over Walmart just because it's so much cleaner and they have a lot of cute clothes. Lolol... Ever since moving to Santee, I've noticed that this target is probably one of the largest in San Diego. I don't go to Target as much as I used to... If anything I barely come here. But this target is still four stars because it's really spacious and very clean. They always have a lot of nice stuff and I really have nothing to complain about. The staff is really nice and it has all the home stuff you need. Yes they are more pricey than walmart of course, but nonetheless it's good quality stuff for the most part. read more

Drive up at this location has gone downhill. Either they forget an item or give me someone else's. I always check before I leave and the last few times something is always forgotten. I should probably stop using drive up, but this last time I went in to ask for the missing item. They said they must've given it to someone else and I can go grab another one. You go grab me another one, that's the point of drive up so it's quick and I don't have to shop the store when you're in a rush. Make sure you check your bags before you leave. read more

I called interested in purchasing an apple watch and she let me know how many they had in stock, and gave me tips on when to purchase and to check the Target app so I'd get a good deal. Somehow all but two pairs of my socks have gone missing so had to make a semi emergency run to target and get some more. Found the socks I needed and also found some pink reeses peanut butter cups! I was expecting them to taste different compared to the non colorful reeses but they taste the same. If you want something different and pretty go for them. Store was clean and well stocked which was nice. Employees kept to themselves there were non greeting customers and the only one I saw on the sales floor was one that rushed passed me as fast as his little legs could carry him. read more

I really find shopping at this particular Target a real bargain and I will continue to shift my alliance to Target from big W. Their prices are fair and their stock is usually pretty good. The employees seem a little more helpful and friendly then the neighboring Walmart. The store is pretty clean and organized. There's plenty of parking with nearby restaurants and larger box stores like the Home Depot, Costco and Walmart; you can get a lot of shopping done within a 1 mile radius. Access to the shopping center from Mission Gorge or Cuyamaca it's pretty easy and the 52 freeway isn't too far as well as to 67. I would like to see more specials and weekly bargains so I am going to hold back on the five star rating and give a solid four stars for now. read more

Honestly giving a 5 because I used to live next to the mission valley target (pre-remodel) and hated it. This location seems to always have a good stock of items. It still feels new (though was made years ago) and feels clean. The stock has been very sad in the times of Corona. Everything is swiped out- home decor, bathroom items, curtains, incense, towels, etc. There always seems to be an employee somewhat around for help at self checkout also and they do not seem disgruntled to be working. Overall love this target and visit a few times a week. Also props because for once they have been playing music (loud enough to hear) and the playlist is pretty good. Nice job guys. read more

I can't tell you how much I love Target... I love every Target and I am not sure I have ever been to a bad Target. Some locations I love more than others but they are all Target in the end. This location is my normal Target that I do my weekly shopping at. It is an in a great area as there are a ton of shopping plazas nearby so it makes it easier to be close by the get everything you need. It hasn't been updated yet while a lot of the other Targets have been updated and I can't wait for it to be updated. They have a decent baby section and the grocery section always has what I need for the baby. The drive up and order pick up have been a life saver when I don't have time to go through most of the aisles to get what I want but you can't get any of the cold items you need with these services. I hope that changes soon because it will make my life so much easier. I have always been able to get everything I need at this Target and as always, prices are competitive and you can use your RedCard and save even more! read more

I made a quick stop to Target today. The girl who rung up my items was very friendly but she was talking to one of her coworkers at the time, which didn't bother me in the moment. I got home and realized she forgot to put the $50 gift card I purchased in my bag. I called Guest Services and the gentleman's response was "it's here at guest services." I know it was an honest mistake but a sorry goes a long way. I'm going to have to make an unnecessary trip there to retrieve it. I don't think you can really go wrong when it comes to going to Target. Yes, they're a little bit more expensive, or pricey, than other stores, but at the same time, they actually have some products that are cheaper than other stores, that you would think is cheaper. I was in the process of rearranging my bedroom and was looking for an affordable cube shelving unit. I tried looking online first, just to see if there is somewhere nearby that I can go to and pick up the cube shelving unit because if I order it online and wait for it in the mail, I will get lazy to do it. So, once I decided that I want one, and after my researching, Target actually have the cheaper product compare to others! And I am so glad that it is available in this location. I ended up buying the 9x9 cube shelving unit and the 4pcs/pack 11" cube storage, which is cheaper if u buy it in bulk by the way. I would definitely check online first before going to this Target, or give them a call, just to make sure that they have the product, or item, that you are intending to buy. The last time I was in this Santee Target the Customer Service desk was just inside the doors to left, now there is a Starbucks there. Because we need another Starbucks. What is that, eight Starbucks in Santee now? Anyway, this Target is your typical Target, right on target. Well lit, immaculately clean, well stocked and aisles clearly marked. This store features and entire grocery section as well. Grocery shopping at Target seems odd to me, but it can be done. I found what I was looking for and headed to check out. This is where Target excels. The cashiers stand at the front of their stands and direct customers to the registers with no waiting. Also they have a plethora of self-checkout lanes which I love. I doubt that I will ever understand the need for some people to walk around Target snacking on a bag of popcorn. It does smell good though... read more

As a chef, I don't normally review targets, but this target had the most outstanding employee i have ever encountered. His name was Gaven and he made me feel as if I was a young stallion once again. His immaculate use of flirtatious comments directed towards me really made the experience whole. I would come here not even to shop, but just share a conversation with this fine young man. DO NOT BUY THEIR POKÉMON CARDS, THEY ARE SCAMS! We just bought some Pokémon cards, opened them from their box, and the Pokémon cards had been tampered with, Glue all over! When we came to return them or at least get another one, the manager said no returns because other people had scammed them! Now if you can, tell me how in the world the Pokémon card pack had gotten into the box and resealed if they could not be returned. They also said that other people had come in saying that their Pokémon cards had also been tampered with. But they still wouldn't refund us! honestly everything was fine until me and some friends were about to try sum capes in the Halloween section and sum worker comes up to us and says "can u guys not be playing I'm literally fixing around here". First of all we were just trying out the capes like even we were playing y do u even care. Second, We weren't even close to the area u were "fixing". third of all we were going to put everything back either way. I am a big fan of Target. "Yeah Target!" This particular location filled my needs as usual. Today I came to this location to find two things: first a brown leather belt to wear with my work pants, and secondly some under shirts. The under shirts I found right away in flash, but when I found the belts, I was surprised how little of a collection they had. Luckily for me they had exactly what I needed for $9.99 in my size. Yippee! When I got to the register lines, they were quite back up, but the lines went rather quickly and efficiently. I was in and out with out a hitch which made me a happy camper. read more
