He was extremely helpful, and extremely patient, because it took close to an hour to get everything sorted out with the Verizon customer service over the phone. David helped walk me through everything and was super friendly and knowledgeable, and made sure I was able to properly communicate with Verizon customer service over the phone. We checked in online to get in the store to talk to their sales rep. We were looking to switch our phone carrier to Verizon from AT&T. Because of COVID, they were now limiting the number of customers inside the store so checking-in was a must. When we got there, they checked how long the wait would be and they told us we were the next and a text msg would be sent when it's our turn. 5 hours past and we never received any text msg from them. I've heard many good things about Verizon and I really wanted to like them. Unfortunately I didn't get any chance to see if it's true. First, realize this is NOT a Verizon store. So, in our case, the representative at the store gave us a price several hundred dollars less than what our bill later reflected. When we called Verizon customer service, we were told they couldn't do anything and to take it up with the store. Coincidentally, while we were there another customer was in the store complaining the exact thing happened to him. The service at Victra was terrible and management is to blame. We went there 3 separate times and it took over 3 hours each time to complete the transactions and activate 2 phones. I could buy a house or a car in less time. The staff is inexperienced, and most of the time there is no management in the store. My advice, go to a Verizon Corporate location. Avoid Victra completely. If you decide to do business with Victra, insist all details are put in writing before you finalize the transaction. Lastly, purchase no accessories without checking prices on Amazon first. read more

Just had the best experience at Verizon. I have always used Verizon for phone services and not always had the best experience but I went in today looking to lower my monthly bill. Rafik was a huge help and explained everything and all fees that were going into the new plan and the change, so I wouldn't have any surprises when my next bill came around. He even pulled up a calculator and showed me the breakdown of the plan and was understanding and helpful in finding me the best and most efficient plan for not only me but my family. He also was able to get me an upgrade but still help me achieve my goal of lowering my monthly bill. He was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall great experience. I purchased my phone last year at the store. The staff is always been very knowledgeable and service has always been terrific. I was out running errands for Mother's Day weekend. I realized my water bottle in my bag was open and my phone was Soaked the screen starting to go dark. I walked in and was greeted immediately by David. I was extremely upset as new phones are very expensive. David put my phone in the machine that dries iPhone I was unaware of this new technology. He said it would be about a half an hour. When I came back to the store David turned on my phone and I was shocked it had turned on in the phone had been saved. The fee for the machine normally runs $35 but because of COVID-19 and Mother's Day weekend David waived the fee. I'm extremely grateful and saved me the cost of a new phone! Diana read more

I am surprised to see all the negative reviews here. Our experience was the total opposite. The guys working there, especially Dean were extremely helpful and went out of there way to teach us and transfer info from our old 6 plus to the new XS Max. along with the I-pad. In addition to linking it up to both our cars. I used to use Apple stores as the best in helping and teaching us and a few of the Verizon stores I went to were horrible. Dean and the rest of the crew provided the best service during and after the sale that I have ever experienced in the purchase of a phone. We sent my wife's Mother there and Dean was extremely patient with her in showing how to use her Samsung tablet with her phone. Just left this store. Rafik saved the day. My phone lost it's way this am. Black screen and green power light. That was it! A few minutes at the store and all was restored with a sort reset. About 2 weeks ago, my fiance and I came to this location to add her to my phone line. I was told by the manager Rafiq that I would receive a free iPad with cellular service and that due to promos that were added to my account, all I had to do was pay about $60 (tax on iPad) and then pay about $3 a month for the cellular service. I was extremely impressed at the deal of course. 2 weeks go by and I look at my upcoming bill and it is extremely high so I went to a different Verizon Victra location that was closer to my job. It was discovered that I actually was financing the iPad and my monthly payment was about $23 a month. I was pretty disappointed because I felt like this was snuck onto my bill as it was never explained to me that I was financing anything and I would not have bought it if that was the case. I even left this location without a full breakdown/explanation. Luckily I was able to return the iPad and I caught this before I was hit with a sneak attack on the bill. If you go to this location, make sure they go over exactly what they are doing to your bill while you are there! read more

This place is a joke. Nice people, but totally unacceptable service. Upon my first and only visit to this store to upgrade from an iphone 4 to an iphone 5, I was talked into (by the manager mind you) to pay $190 to drop the other line on my account, change my plan, etc etc. all things that promised to lower my bill from $113 to $60. 2 months later my bill is exactly the same and the other line is still on my account, even though Verizon processed my payment remove it 2 months ago. Over a week ago I called and spoke with this person and was told "I'm not sure what happened" I will look into this and have your account adjusted before your bill is due. 10 days later, my bill is still $113 and is due in 5 days. I put my trust in people when it comes to things like this that I know nothing about. I trust that if they work for the company, they obviously know more about it than I do, and when they tell me they can drop my bill, I trust them. I understand that mistakes happen, and things aren't always as easy as they should be but it should not take 2 months, and multiple follow ups with no returned calls, to get something like this taken care of. It is extremely frustrating that I have to check my bill every week and call the store every day to get Verizon to do what they say they will do. When my contract is up I will be dropping Verizon for good and running as fast as I can. I'm so over their "customer service". I'm not one to write negative reviews. I'm actually not one to write reviews at all but I thought if I could save someone else from the complete and total aggravation I've experienced, then it is worth it. read more

Came in here two weeks ago because I wasn't getting any calls, but was receiving text messages. The salesman helped us out and checked out my account to see what was going on. He determined that there wasn't anything wrong with my account, and that the bill had been paid on time so there was no issues there. Apparently Verizon was having an issue with its service and everyone with Verizon was having problems receiving calls for a couple days. So that was frustrating but I understand it wasn't the stores fault or anyone's fault really. The service was down for a whole day, which doesn't sound like much but when it comes to your phone and service that is a long time! Anyway the sales guy was helpful and assisted us with getting to the bottom of what was happening. I would come back to this store for assistance again if I found myself in the area. read more

Buyer BEWARE!! I went in to upgrade my phone on the Verizon edge program and thought that it was pretty cool that I was getting all these "free upgrades" along with my new phone. I must have asked the guy that was helping me (and his manager who was right there next to him for this whole conversation) half a dozen times how it was working out that I was getting all these free upgrades - and that my phone bill would be less than before? He just kept assuring me that my first phone bill would be higher but that I would see all charges reversed and that he wasn't charging any of the store set-up fees and giving me extra discounts. When I look back I could kick myself for not asking for a detailed print out receipt to verify everything he was saying -because he did in fact charge me in-store set up fees and when I spoke to Verizon a month later when I got my sky high bill - they explained that I wouldn't be getting any of the credits that the guy in the store told me I would get. They didn't have any idea what "programs" the store had been referring to. I brought back the Verizon HUM that they "up sold" to me and explained my conversation with Verizon. The manager tried convincing me that Verizon doesn't know what they are talking about? The manager never ended up crediting me back the money for the HUM because he never processed the return (most likely so that the guys in his store wouldn't lose commission). I got on the phone with Verizon again this month and they got in touch with the store on my behalf and the Verizon representative explained to me that the manager was charging me a restocking fee equivalent to the cost of The HUM (which by the way - remember this was supposed to be a "free upgrade" - well it wasn't. The store had charged me USD 30 on the receipt that they never gave to me.) Thank goodness that the Verizon representative was familiar with the trickery that had taken place in the store and she helped me to get ahold of a receipt to figure out all of the wrongful charges. The most upsetting aspect of this experience was that the guys were so tricky - and they know what they are doing to people. Just be very careful and ask to see receipts and detailed print outs of the complete transaction. Or save yourself the trouble and go to a regular Verizon store. Phones at an actual Verizon store are cheaper and they don't charge USD 20 set up fees. read more

I wish I could give ZERO! These crooks STOLE my IPhone 7 Plus 128 GB. They lied and told me they would buy my phone for $340.00 (worth at least $500 on ebay) and then give me another $300 towards a new iPhone 8 Plus if I would move to Verizon. I had NO contract with AT&T- but since my fiancé would save money- I decided to go ahead and move. What a stupid stupid mistake. I learned the hard way to NOT trust people- especially Verizon. Our bill came and low and behold all we get is $340.00 for my phone. I now have the luxury of paying MORE money every month and a 24 month contract. Thanks!!! When you stop by and they entice you just say NOoooooooo! Wish I could get my phone back. If the owner is reading this- I would really just like my phone back. You stole it. read more

I now understand why this place has the number of one-star reviews it has, and why each reviewer specifically mentions fraud and deceptive up-selling. Verizon would be wise to terminate their relationship with this store's owner to preserve the integrity of their brand. The manager that operates this location is running a fraudulent scheme where he verbally misleads customers about "deals" by telling them there are some one time charges that are either voided out by promotional discounts (so the net effect is that they're "free") or that will "fall off." He tells whoever he's talking to to just trust him because this is all "just part of the discount package" he's currently offering. When he did this to me, he told me there were charges that he would immediately void out with promotional discounts that would make them "free" that, as it turns out, were not voided out. I was initially skeptical (I was there to upgrade my iPhone 6 Plus to an iPhone 8 Plus) so I asked for a detailed receipt, but he refused to give me a receipt with line items, or any copies of detailed transaction documentation. I pressed the issue, but it was just like the other reviewers have said - he downplayed my request, told me he couldn't provide me with a more detailed receipt and hurriedly put a bunch of documents in front of me to sign that he said were "just a formality" - not something I should worry about, he assured me. Then he said he was going to be installing a "Hum" in my car FOR FREE (I didn't even know what that was so I certainly didn't ask for it) that would act like a "diagnostic tool" for my car by sending diagnostic information to an app he installed on my new phone. Again, he said this was completely free - that there would be NO initial charge or recurring monthly charge so after clarifying that point with him I agreed to let him do it. When I went online to look at my Verizon bill 2 months later, it was clear he had charged me $40 on my June bill for the Hum and $10 extra per month every month (I been paying the extra $10 for 2 months when I caught it, so I paid $60 extra total that I would have had no way of knowing about until my first bill came A MONTH after my initial phone purchase). When I called Verizon about this, they told me I should take it up with the store owner and that he would provide me with a full refund. When I went back to the store today to do what Verizon instructed me to do, the owner told me I was "outside of the 14 day cancellation window" and that there was "nothing he could do," and that I was now in a 24 MONTH CONTRACT for the Hum. Again, there's no way I would have been able to know about this within 14 days anyway because it didn't show up until my first bill 30 DAYS LATER, and I'm sure he knows this when he's running his scam on other people. He also dug deep into the contract I signed and showed me where I allegedly "agreed to the charges," and with the straight face of someone accustomed to lying - he completely denied telling me everything he told me a few months earlier. At this point, I am going to escalate the situation with Verizon corporate and am going to get the state attorney general's office involved to try to get my money back. Hopefully I will be able to take some steps to get these guys either seriously reprimanded (from a legal standpoint) or shut down. It's so obvious based on the number of reviews that say the same thing that this guy is running a fraud scheme. Those who have been affected - let's band together and hit their GMB, the BBB, Yelp, any and all online outlets AND the state attorney general's office with A FORMAL COMPLAINT FOR EACH INCIDENT to get these guys shut down. Businesses like this should not be operating in the United States. UPDATE: I spoke to Verizon corporate and they refunded everything for me. They said this store was an "indirect" store so they didn't have as much control over how they operate. They told me they did not endorse this store's sales tactics and advised me to not go there again. I spent an hour and a half on the phone and even discussed what management at corporate could do - they talked about sending a Verizon rep out to stores like theirs who receive too many complaints so that they could eventually terminate their relationship to preserve their brand if need be. I am still going to report to the state attorney general and take some additional legal action because it burns me up that these guys are out there scamming people.
