I never write reviews, but I feel I must. Our Verizon just down the street at Murabella we found out is privately owned and their tech skills are terrible. My husband went in with one problem and came out with two more that affected my phone as well!!!! Chad at this location fixed us up in 5 minutes! He didn't seem to mind that he was fixing someone else's blunder. He was pleasant and patient ... just what seniors need after getting the run around for a couple days in another place and on the phone with Apple. Thank you Chad! I just left this store and will never return! The General Manager Chad was beyond rude! We have 6 lines with Verizon and have been coustemers for over 30 years. After reading some other reviews it seems that Chad has been rude for a very long time. The only reason we are still with Verizon was the coustemer service rep Mary. She completely fixed our problem! I'm a Verizon customer that just relocated to St. Augustine, Fl. The phone system doesn't seem to work here, for everyone. A local Verizon rep admits that there are dead areas. Tell me about it! I don't know the city. I intended to find the Home Depot using my iPhone and Google Maps. My trustworthy opinion of Verizon sunk when my Verizon serviced iPhone said I'd lost my connection to the net. I tried several other locations to no avail. Shouldn't Verizon accept the responsibility in emergency cases where someone was trying to report a burglar in their home, a baby choking, or a house fire, but their Verizon service wasn't functional? We live in an era that lives sometimes depend on a cell phone. If Verizon cannot provide a reliable service to all of St. Augustine, then isn't it time that their business practices be examined by the state of Florida? read more

By far the worst Verizon I've ever stepped foot in. Went in to purchase an iPhone 12 for one line on our plan. The associate Terrance refused to pull up the account. He kept saying that I was not listed on the account on his tablet. I even pulled up the My Verizon app which listed me as an Account Manager with my name listed (the same as my drivers license that I presented to him) as well as our account details. He insisted that I was not listed anywhere on his end and we needed the Account Owner to authorize my request to bring up our account. I called the Account Owner and put them on speaker with Terrance, he wanted a drivers license uploaded and stored in their system to prevent any future issues, (MAJOR RED FLAG DIDN'T TRUST THIS FOR A SECOND) before he could do anything. He kept claiming that I was never on the account and he's been doing this for 14 years. The Account Owner and myself were both furious. We've been with Verizon for 20 years and my line active for 10. I kept trying to explain to him that I have everything needed to get into the account and the Verizon App pulled up right in front of him. His demeanor towards myself and the Account Owner on the phone was disgusting. Talking down to us like we were children and didn't understand how things worked was completely unprofessional. He told us to call the generic 800 number. When we called, it turns out my line was listed as Account Manager and the Account Owner the other line. More time wasted with Verizon on the phone. What a surprise! I drove 30 minutes up to the Town Center Verizon, presented my ID and had zero issues. The associate over there pulled up the account, I was listed on there the whole time. He did not need anything other than my drivers license. I explained this situation to the associate at that location and he was shocked. I will be writing about this to corporate. I don't usually write reviews on stores, especially wireless ones. Honestly, I get a new phone every couple of years when I'm eligible for an upgrade. I don't visit them at all and rarely have anything to do with my mobile carrier unless it's to pay my bill online. However, on vacation this past week I lost my phone. After tracking it, I went to the store to see if they could pinpoint better than the generic blip on a map that Apple provides. Alas, they could not. Luckily I had insurance to cover most of the cost, but also had a flight to catch in a few hours back to NY. 3 of the staff members were helpful in assisting with getting a claim submitted for me so that could be processed while I was flying. I spent over an hour in the store and they all were constantly trying to help. Sorry, I wish I could tell you their names, but I didn't get them and honestly, I'm a total idiot when it comes to remembering names anyway even if I did have them. That being said, this is a great store and the staff is the best I've worked with. read more

Buyer beware! The Verizon representative at the store told me there would be no upgrade fee. I received a $30 upgrade fee. The Verizon representative offered me an accessory bundle deal and showed me a piece of paper with the bundle price v. the regular price. She overcharged me by another $30, and refused to give me a copy of the bundle price sheet, citing it was a "store copy only." The Verizon representative also declined to give me an itemized receipt regarding the multiple purchases. Be careful, and insist on everything in writing immediately. I've had delivery problems since March 2,21 trying to get a keypad delivered since Verizon sent it t\o the wrong address, after 3 orders of the same , and Still not delivered and paid for overnight service, I thought going to the local Verizon store would solve all my despair,NOT, we all know that we have to stand out Side no matter how the weather is until we're granted permission to enter the store , i dont kn\ow of any other stores doing this but i was summoned in by the { solutions manager) NICK. AFTER- TELLING THE PROBLEMS TO THE SELLS GUY HE ASK FOR NICKS ASSISTANCE {the solution manager} I had paid twice for the same product AND ORDER THE SAME PRODUCT 3 TIMES TRYING TO GET ONE DELIVERED TO ME , THE SELLMAN PULLED MY RECEIPT WHERE IT SHOWED $00.00 and had proof I'd had not received the product, I asked if they could honor my delivery with in store pick up and was confronted by {Nick} that told me in a very disrespectful way that I wasn't taking anything without paying for it and if I order on line that was not his problem. He acted as if he own the store and didn't recognize Verizon trademark. Nick was very rude and didn't offer any solutions to my concerns, bad behavior bad guy bad for Verizon business, this guy nick needs to be retrained to suit the customers need and not his own while on duty read more

The clerk at the Verizon store was so rude today. I came in with my phone and the volume was not working. She declared right off the bat that I must not have turned it up. It was turned down at the time but that was not the issue. Her name begins with a J and I don't want to say any more than that because I don't want her fired. But I went back in a second time and talked to a gentleman who said I needed a new phone. The girl was wrong! Because I am older, does not mean I'm stupid. She even talked to a second gentleman and said something that made him not want to help me. It was the third clerk who did help me in the end. But J has a lot to learn about customer service and apologizing. We finally realized we have to go to the Apple store to get a new phone. read more

I've been with Verizon since 2004 and until the last few years never had any complaints about them . WELL the store in St. Augustine Fl. put a stop to that ! Every time you go in there everything's moved around and there's new employees . They make you wait long periods of time even when they're NOT busy , they all head for the back room and just stay there .....And yes I know there are breaks and lunch but 1 hour after opening ? Was there two days ago to get my wife a new phone as she broke hers and BINGO....NOTHING but $1000.00 plus phones in stock and a 1 hour wait to find that out ! Every time they're out of stock and they make you come IN to the store to find out ( even when you have the name and stock number of the one you want they won't tell you over the phone ! ) . The last two times I was there they were rude and pushy about what phone THEY said you needed and not what you want or can afford . On the last phone I got my wife we paid for it in cash there in the store YET they started billing me for it on my next bill ! Without the paperwork proving I paid for it I'd have been charged twice for it ( they still argued about it WITH the paperwork right there ). I'm going back there today as they say the phone my wife wants will be back in stock today ....I'll update this after I go . If they can't get things right today I'm going to drop them and go with someone else ...18 years with them and now they act like they don't care about my business anymore !........................... OK , so I went in this morning and got someone who knew what they were doing ...Got two new phones BUT they can't switch them out there ! You have to figure them out on your own and god help you if you're an old fud like me because it's a VERY painful process switching them over !...LOL...I think on my next upgrade I'm going to check out another service , verizon seems as if they really don't care about the customer anymore . My wife and I had been Verizon Wireless customers since 1990; my wife and I stopped into this store (where we had purchased phones in the past, and had great experiences) to replace her iPhone with a more current version. After waiting for a salesperson, we were shown iPhone 8 and more current versions. The salesperson did not recommend any of the "close-out" phones; my wife selected the lowest price iPhone 10 in red. I also requested a replacement case for my 7S. After waiting about 10 minutes, the sales rep returned with the phone and much additional equipment which he tried to sell us. After declining to purchase most of the superfluous equipment, and telling him that we wanted to pay in full for our purchase today, he started to review the purchase. After explaining that the insurance was mandatory and that he could not take it off the sale, he did say I could later call and cancel the insurance. As I have had difficulty in cancelling similar coverage in the past, and that this was a deal-breaker, he became aggressive. Further, he stated that we could not pay for the phone in full, because there had been instances of fraud where phones were purchased on other than a time-payment plan (albeit Verizon was not charging interest). Eventually, he sold himself out of the sale to my wife, and I elected to purchase only the replacement case. He insisted that the price was discounted (I am a Veteran), but quoted the undiscounted price with tax. When I said I wouldn't buy it at that price, he relented and charged me the discounted price. Another customer complained to us that the store staff wouldn't transfer the information from her old phone to her new phone--a problem we won't have because we will not buy another phone from this store. Had I read the many bad reviews on this website, I would not have wasted an hour and fifteen minutes on this purchase. read more

I've been a long time customer. My service was great when I lived off SR16 in St Aug. However things are just the opposite at the beach. The service in my condo is horrible. Only option is to buy a booster. Kinda stinks to pay for service and then on top of that have to pay a couple hundred dollars more to buy additional equipment because the service you pay for each month doesn't work where I live. So lets see, hmmm your service is bad where I live and the answer is to sell me a booster and charge me more? read more

I have been a Verizon Wireless customer for over 10 years now, and couldn't be happier with my service. I've never had issues with my service anywhere in the country, I enjoy the employee discount on my monthly bill, and I love the customer service and selection of gadgets at this store. I'm so glad this place moved out of the little kiosk in the mall. Although it's a bit difficult to find the main entrance to this store, it's well worth it. The store is large, roomy, and the associates are helpful but not overbearing. Great selection of phones, iPads, wireless internet, and accessories for all those items. I really enjoy going in and playing with all the new phones, checking out the features, looking forward to my next new phone. If you're not a Verizon customer, stop in and check out their phones and plans. If you are, stop in and check out any possible discounts and some sweet new phones. The way the employees behaved makes me wish I could give zero stars. Instead of politely explaining a situation they immediately became rude saying that they told someone else on the account what the situation was obviously exhausted that he would have to repeat a sentence to two customers on the same account as if it suddenly becomes common knowledge amongst all account members. They then acted as if we were being unreasonable for criticizing how rude we were even though before this they were loudly "whispering" about us behind the counter as we browsed phone cases. read more

He was patient in trying to untangle the details and working with associates in another store in South Florida. He did his utmost to get everything right. I would give lower but there is no lower rating. I purchased an iPhone 8 Plus and Lifeprint printer for my father for Father's Day from this store. The salesman Christopher Hamilton stated that he would mail this to Ohio for me. The printer did not arrive with the iPhone. When I asked for package tracking number Christopher proceeded to tell me that Verizon doesn't get tracking numbers and once they print the label out and put on the package it's out of their hands. Why would Verizon send out $2000 worth of items without a tracking number? Needless to say, FED EX informed me that there is always a tracking number printed with the label. Christopher seemed to want to blame the missing items on my dad's Alzheimer's. Shame on you Christopher? Where's my printer? read more

This Verizon store is absolutely the worst. I stopped in with a huge promotional postcard I received saying that I am eligible for the "Edge Upgrade Plan". I also receive this "eligibility notice" every time I log into www.verizonwireless.com. When I got there, the sales associate told me that I wasn't eligible because it is only for customers upgrading from a 3G phone to a 4G phone. WHAT??? So, what made her think that Verizon would put so much money into advertising this plan if it is only good for a small percentage of their customers? I drove 20 minutes each way to be turned away. When I got home, I called Verizon and they told me I was absolutely eligible. I told them, I am not going back to that store without verification from a store manager that they will help me and of course, you can't contact them via phone. Their local number goes into the toll free system. You simply cannot talk to anyone at that store without physically going there. So, the manager calls me and says to come back and a manager will take care of me. I go back a few days later and my power button on my existing phone stops working, so guess what? Now, I am no longer eligible for the upgrade program. I truly despise Verizon but am stuck with them due to their global coverage (I travel a lot). Now, I have no choices except to wait until my contract expires. Not happy. read more
