I brought my iPad Pro 13" M1 (5th Gen) to this uBreakiFix location through Asurion Home Plus for what should have been a very simple repair. The device had a small spider crack in the screen after my dog knocked it off the couch onto tile. That was the only issue. The iPad was otherwise fully functional, including WiFi. What happened next was one of the most incompetent repair experiences I have ever seen. First screen replacement: They called and said it was ready for pickup. But when we got there, the replacement screen was defective and they said it needed to be replaced again. Not great, but mistakes happen. Not a single test performed, wasted our time. Second screen replacement: They called again saying it was ready. We picked it up and took it home. Within minutes it was obvious that the WiFi no longer worked at all. This was a device that had perfectly functioning WiFi when it went in. It couldn't see any wireless networks anywhere you took it. Clearly something broke between the 2 screen replacements. When I brought it back, the huge and ogrish "technician" (and I use that term lightly) immediately became rude and aggressive, insisting there was "no possible way" they could have broken the WiFi. This was said before he even attempted to diagnose anything. Instant blame game, saying "how can I even be sure it wasn't broken when you brought it here?" They then replaced the screen a third time. Meanwhile I opened a second claim through Asurion specifically for the WiFi issue that appeared after their repair as that is what Ubreakifix said to do (in a very rude manner). When they called me again, I drove back to the store expecting the issue to finally be resolved. Instead, the technician informed me he never even looked at the second claim and bluntly said: "I didn't break it and I can't fix WiFi." That was the entire explanation. No troubleshooting. No escalation. No attempt to make it right. So here is the outcome of bringing a fully working iPad in for a cracked screen: * Three screen replacements * Multiple trips back and forth to the store * Hours of wasted time * WiFi now completely broken * Staff that are defensive and dismissive * A second insurance claim ignored entirely * Zero accountability The device went in with one minor cosmetic issue and came out with a major functional failure that did not exist before their repair. If this location cannot handle a routine screen replacement without damaging other components, they should not be performing repairs on premium devices like an iPad Pro. I would strongly recommend avoiding this store unless you enjoy repeated trips, dismissive technicians, and leaving with a device that works worse than when you brought it in. I'll be canceling Asurion Home Plus, and never ever visiting a Ubreakifix again. Stay away, you've been warned. read more

I brought my iPhone in to see if it could be repaired. Instead, I was advised to consider purchasing another one. New phones are costly and I actually liked the model of the phone I presently have. Upon further inquiry, I was told that I could consider a refurbished phone(same model as my original) and I could do it at a fraction of the cost of a brand new phone, so I did. Throughout the process of transfering data from my old phone to the new(to me) phone, Lacey was very patient and customer service friendly, despite hitting several snags along the way. Joe and Lacey were both very knowledgeable about their products and took care of several customers while I waited for my data download, showing great professionalism and passion for helping each one. My experience with the Palm Coast location has been very poor. It took them three weeks to order the battery needed for my iPad and then the battery turned out to be defective and would not charge. I returned the iPad to them to resolve the issue haven't heard anything for over a week now. I called them today to find out the status only to learn that they have not ordered the replacement battery yet. Don't trust this business. They have little to no customer service. Corporate is just as bad. Brought my laptop in on January 13, 2024 with a broken hinge. The hinge caused the plastic frame to pop off but not broken. They Charged me $133 with 1 year warrantee. When I picked it up and opened it, it made a squeaking noise from the hinge. I brought it to their attention and was told the part was new and needed to be broken in. It sounded reasonable. Six months later the EXACT same thing happened. Hinge broke and frame popped out. I brought it back and was told it was not covered under warrantee due to customer abuse! I am 73 years old and I do not abuse my computer, in fact, it is rarely used. I disputed the quoted repair price of $180. I needed my computer so I left it and decided to take it up with corporate who just kept telling me the store said it was customer abuse. The assistant manager, Tobin, has no people skills and certainly no customer service skills. Please read all the fine print on their very confusing receipt. Will not be going there again. Went in with an Iphone6+ with a bad home button. The service technician informed me they can't replace home buttons because they are paired to the motherboard. I have used them before but I may have to look elsewhere for service. read more

Pricey for individual repairs, but there is a subscription plan for high-volume users. Got my two screens back to new in under two hours.

My iPhone 11 screen was cracked in many places and needed replacement. I called the Palm Coast location of uBreakifix. They charged me $30 non refundable. The we're coming to my driveway between 1 and 3 pm. I waited and no one showed up then I received an email telling me the case was cancelled. No refund of my $30. Their fee was about $300. I had the phone fixed somewhere else for $149 plus tax. read more

I had a nonrelated phone problem with something in my home that broke. It was the posts that kept a battery in place. Asurion doesn't normally deal with stuff like that, but they took on the job and welded everything back into place. It was a SUPER small area to work with. They were kind, professional, and willing to tackle a job that they had never done before! I highgly recommend this company in Palm Coast. They are wonderful~ read more

be careful what they tell you... first was told nobody would be able to tell it was repaired, not true- error message on my device. then told that would disappear in 2 days, didn't happen. Then told I was given a choice on using authorized parts, also didn't happen. asked for promise in writing and got more information. If it's an apple product- bring it to apple or you will regret it! read more
