    This is the second time this has happened at this Verizon store in Reno. My glass screen protector just cracks and shatters for no reason. I don't drop my phone, I don't mishandle it--it just breaks out of nowhere. The one that broke today even cut me when it shattered. On top of that, they overcharge like crazy. The prices here are ridiculous compared to what you can get on Amazon or other places. And to make it worse, the customer service is not the best. There's a tall, big guy who works there, and he is extremely rude. It's honestly not worth dealing with the attitude, the overpriced products, or the risk of getting hurt. Save yourself the money and frustration--shop somewhere else.

I'm writing this review after visiting the store twice and waiting in store for over an hour again just to return equipment. Now they do offer appointments, but let me tell you that I have watched more than a few of those people check-in and wait a considerable amount of time beyond their appointment time to be seen, and this is another indicator that something needs to be fixed. The process here is broken, and quite apparently inefficient and not designed with customer experience in mind. The entirety of my transaction took 5 minutes and could have easily been processed numerous times during the hours I spent standing around. This was made even more apparent after watching all of the associates repeatedly wander the store, in and out the backroom, and stop to check in on the same customers standing around waiting for updates and data migrations to complete on their devices, all while there's a store full of customers waiting, many of whom are obviously there for the same reason as I. At one point a manager/leader approached me and mentioned I'd been waiting quite a while, so I explained what I needed to do and he made no offer to help expedite the process. The solution is simple. Keep a register open just for equipment returns and make a policy that anyone walking in with equipment be served in between walk-ins and appointments as associates are freed up.

Here's where Victor and Ali come in. Victor was patient and listened to my story, and tackled the situation one piece at a time - first, get me back up and running with a new SIM for my existing phone. Linked to our account, the phone was back and workin in ten minutes. Next, I wanted to get a SIM for my Android tablet - it's unlocked and part of a car entertainment system. Victor worked with Ali - and they both came out to set up the tablet for best performance on ATT's network. The whole process wasn't easy or intuitive, but they made it a pleasant experience. Nobody wants cell phone troubles, but I'd drive from the Bay Area all the way back to Reno just to work with these guys again. Superlative service, friendly, and damn good folks. It's an Apple Store, so for the most part you know what to expect, but every once and awhile they have some fun non-Apple branded accessories. The value of Apple products is arguably poor in some instances, but I think the products are superior to many other brands you can buy, especially when it comes to laptops. The only downside of this store is that there can often be a wait to checkout or get service. I would highly recommend an appointment if you know you'll need service or if you're making a large purchase with lots of questions. There was one instance here where an employee argued with me whether a product existed or not, surprise... I was right! Other than that all of the employees have been great here. This being the only Apple Store in the area makes it a specialty store for sure, but still a great store offering a great experience.

Time to see what other plans might be a better fit for me/us. But because we are business customers, they have to email the representative to get back to us. So I will update their review after hearing back from the NV Business representative. Update - Sadly, NO surprise, but no one called us... My experience with Corporate TMobile has been fairly poor. And I noticed that the plan I signed up for 2 years ago has all been changed?!?! The good news is that I believe it changed for the better...? Atmosphere - Small location. Plenty of mall parking. Open 7 days a week from 10am to 8pm and onSundays from 10am to 6pm. Service - 5 stars. Two team members and two customers ahead of us. They helped the two customers and us in a timely fashion. In and out within half an hour. We actually got the manager helping us today. Corporate TMobile service = 1-2 stars.... Price - We will see what they can do for us. Online, new plans range from $21 to $42 a month. Owner Comment - Congrats on TMobile's success since 1994 with your 20k+ locations.

The guy seemed a little new and he kept having to get help from the girl that worked there. He was working the numbers on two new phones and we ended up in a contract for two years and we only had to pay tax which was high because it was based on two $800 phones. Then we asked about their internet service and decided to add that to the plan. We saved a little money there on the monthly bill. We get two weeks to try it out and then after that we are locked in. So far so good with the internet. My main issue is that we were stuck there for 3 hours. Our son and wife were with us and they were stuck there because we drove with them. It just went on and on and he was on the phone with someone for awhile. They need to streamline this process if they want future business. No one want to spend that much time standing there waiting for the service they are paying for. Next time we will go to a corporate store.
