I actually really do like the simplicity of the internet service they offer because it is one little square cube that you plug into the wall and plug into your TV and you are good to go. I really like that because I am not computer savvy whatsoever so I didn't have to put one wire here one wire there give my blood in the first born child like all the other services. Now the problem that I had which took me almost 10 hours to figure out (yes don't laugh because I already said I am not by any means computer savvy) when trying to pay your bill online for strictly internet when it asks for your mobile phone number IT IS NOT your actual personal mobile number it is a phone number with a local area code that is attached to the box! It is not your phone number that you used to set up the account but a phone number that is assigned to your internet service. It was driving me insane because it kept telling me my information was wrong so I started pressing the little? Icon trying to figure out what on Earth they meant by my information not being correct because I do know my information lol. That is when I discovered that what they consider your " MOBILE" VERIZON NUMBER is actually the phone number that is on the back of the box. Just wanted to give people a heads up about this to save possible headaches and frustration when paying your bill.

0830 internet goes out, so I cycle my modem and router. Nothing. Call charter at 0845 to report the…read moreproblem & they tell me it's me and they'll ping my modem. 0905 they tell me they're rebooting my modem. 0908 they tell me there's a service outage. 0930ish they say the outage is caused by a power outage. NV Energy reports an outage that affects less than 5 customers. 1000 charter says service will be restored by 1130. 1145 charter says service will be restored by 1430. 1417 charter says service will be restored by 1730. 1716 charter says service will be restored by 1800. 1839 I contact charter again and am told by 2030. 2110 I contact them and they have no information. More than 12 hours and no service or updates other than you'll have service in another couple hours. Best part, because they blamed this on a power outage the clock on prorating cost didn't kick in until after 1430. I think this was the last straw. Time to switch to ANYONE else because no one can be as bad as these yahoos.

Stopped in to get some phone stuff sorted out. Needed to do all sorts of activation, purchasing and…read morevoodoo wizardry, I had previously wasted hours talking to a phone rep that made my life miserable. Carlos was able to help me get every sorted out and organized. It was a bit of a mess beforehand and now everything seems to be in order. The store also has all of the latest phones, cases and accessories. It's also generally not crazy busy. It took a while to get things sorted and I had to call customer service while I was there. They customer service person was a bit of a pain but the store guys got on the phone and were able to figure everything out. They're pretty helpful here and that's refreshing to see at a cell phone store.

When I called back they said they couldn't close my account because I no longer had a phone that they couldn't close verify me with by sending a pin. WORST SERVICE ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
