Background: My wife and I ran a trail race in 2017. We both placed in our age groups, I in first and she in third, and won pint beer glasses that had the race's logo screen printed on it. A couple of weeks ago, I broke her glass while washing dishes. I got the idea to replace her glass by having a copy made based on my glass. I called a number of local awards shops. None did silkscreen. One shop suggested I try looking on the Internet for shops that do silkscreen on glass. I found a number who did. Some wanted camera ready art. Some wanted a minimum of dozens of glasses. Both were non-starters. Then I found Glass with a Twist. The website looked hopeful regarding the minimum number of glasses to order. As few as one! So I called to see about duplicating the design. Nikki answered and asked that I send photos of the design I wanted. I took photos of my glass from different angles and sent them to Nikki. I included the request to change the first place indication on my glass to third place so it would more exactly match the glass my wife had won. Within a few days, she responded with a proof design of what they were able to create from my photos: a near perfect duplicate. They were even able to modify the design to include changing the finish place. Nikki included easy to follow instructions on how to place the order on their website. I ordered four glasses, just to have a few spares in case I broke another glass. There's a nice price break for ordering more than one. And they didn't charge me for creating the artwork. Honestly, do not look elsewhere for custom glassware! This place is the best in every way -- price, value, speed, service, knowledge, helpfulness. We have been ordering glasses from them for over a decade for every big family event: reunions, weddings, birthdays... EDIT: In response to the owner's reply, they did not do anything to warn me about the print quality before I paid. This is simply not true. I've found a different vendor that printed these same glasses with larger print and without any flaws. So his assertion that "it's not possible" is also not true. The fact is, their equipment isn't good enough for basic printing of images on these types of glasses, but they just hoped I wouldn't care so they could keep my money. If the printing wouldn't be free of errors, then they shouldn't offer them for sale. Simple as that. Do not do business with Glass With A Twist if you want any graphics printed well. I paid them to print 6 glasses with a small image on each glass. The print quality was very poor. Almost all of the curves within the image turned out to be jagged lines. Instead of offering a refund, they basically said that their printers weren't good enough to do a print like this. I asked them why they didn't bring this to my attention when I received mockups from their sales rep and they said that they "didn't feel the need to anchor in on any of those warnings since we anticipated a good print." Look at the pictures I've attached so you can see the mockup they sent vs the actual glass that was printed. To their credit, they offered to do the same print on a different type of glass, but that wouldn't work for my purposes (and I also didn't have any confidence that it would be any better). They then also offered me a 50% refund, but I was honestly appalled that they wouldn't give me all of my money back. To me, offering a 50% refund is basically saying that I'm 50% responsible for the poor results of this print job. I fail to see how my actions could possibly account for such a large (or any) percentage. There were several preventable steps that could have occurred, none of which were on my side of the fence: 1. The printing limitations could have been conveyed in the initial mockups I received from the sales rep. 2. A test glass could have been printed if there was any concern with the print quality going into this (which there apparently was a concern from the print manager). 3. They could've emailed me after the print job to point out the issues before shipping to see if I had any issues with them. After a week of emails back and forth, they've even rescinded their 50% refund offer because now they "don't see how any sort of refund makes sense." This isn't how a company should treat it's customers. Stay away unless you have a lot of time and money to waste on poor prints. read more

I liked their customization/personalization options best as well as the ability to buy smaller quantities. I ended up going with the cylindrical engraved votives, and had reached out to customer service with my design to get some feedback. Nikki was not only friendly and responsive, but helpful in modifying the image for optimal results. She explained the process well so that we understood the guidance and logic behind the recommendations. The proofs were really helpful as well. While the check out process was a bit glitchy, the top notch customer service throughout the whole process (including check-out issues) made me forget about any glitches and overall left me feeling very positively about the process. I came across Glass With a Twist in a search for custom etched stemless wine glasses for our wedding favors. We chose to work with them because they gave us the most customization options, and the pricing was great for the amount of product that we needed. We were soon in touch with Amy, who guided us through the customization process. Amy was so helpful in helping us choose the size & placement of our design, and giving us feedback on what would look best on an etched glass. She pointed out that there was a small detail on our logo that would not show up well, and she was able to go in & optimize the design for the glass. We pored over several renderings before choosing one that made me, my husband-to-be, and my parents happy.
