I created a jam in my printer and could no longer get it to work. I was pretty stressed, as I had time sensitive things that needed to be printed and since it was over 50 pages using color ink, going to Office Depot didn't seem a great choice. I went to the Technology Center where I was informed that they don't work on Brother Printers. I believe his name was Tim and he said he would look at it. He went out to my car to get it and soon he was preforming surgery on it. It works perfectly now!! He saved the day and was beyond kind. I would refer anyone to him. read more

Forget BestBuy Geek Squad! Technology Center IS the shop to come at for repairs or any other tech services needed. Am absolutely very satisfied with the customer services, and the work that was done on my gaming PC. Very welcoming & friendly staff... I was having operating issues that I couldn't resolve, so went to BestBuy- They wanted to charge $150 (not including any other further cost), was informed the "techs" mainly just wipe & reinstall the O.S. and could be 2 weeks before getting my PC back, then tried to push for me to get some year membership that was $200. -yeah... HELL NO!. I was suggested to go to Technology Center... I dropped my PC off with them on a Friday and got it back that following Monday. Was only charged $60, and the tech even went out of his way and did an impressive cable managed job on my rig. This establishment will be my #1 go to place for now on. read more

I just moved to Reno a couple years ago, and finally all my old stuff had to be upgraged. That includes my PC I bought a few years back. I wanted to get a new computer and I looked at all the big Online players that build custom PCs out there. Everything online seemed either mixed reviews, or you get overcharged for your personal build. I called the Technology Center and Tim helped me with everything I needed to get my PC going. He listened too all my requests and wishes, quickly went over all the latest and greatest reccomendations, and within minutes we finalized my build. Great place to bring your desktops, laptops, printers and copiers. I use Technology Center exclusively, for all of my technology hardware service. As does my place of employment. The staff is helpful, friendly, and expedient. They have great turn around time and have fair prices. Sometimes you have to wait for parts, but they have no control over how long it takes the people who made your stuff to send out parts. I highly recommend them. read more

This tiny little geektastic computer haven is difficult to find initially, but is full of great deals and amazingly friendly staff. I shop here for parts and devices that I need for my job, and every time I go in, I always find a good price on what I am looking for, and the friendliest people ever. These people obviously enjoy their jobs, and take pride in bringing a good service to the community. My one gripe, and this is not enough to deduct a star, is that they do not put price tags on their items. This generally is not a problem though, as it is easy to get service and assistance from one of their employees, and to date, they have always been eager to help. read more

I took my laptop to the Technology center after it suddenly turned off and wouldn't boot up again (eek!). It also had a few structural issues as the outside casing was broken in a couple of places. I paid the $45 diagnostic fee and left it in their hands. After taking a look at it, Tim let me know what the problem was, how much it would be to fix it and about how long it would take. They were great in working with my budget, timeline, etc. I would wholeheartedly recommend them for all your computer needs! read more

These guys are the greatest. I run a technology-based business and they have kept me humming for 15 years. Their prices are better than competitive, their service is top notch and they answer the phone without having to wade through 5 menus and 4 languages. Over the years I have purchased everything from name brand computers, "white box" systems, to used computers, and LOTS of technical help. They have removed viruses, re-installed operating systems (you know how Windows can be), set up wireless at my home, and replaced motherboards. We even get printer cartridges from them now! Oh, my Beloved Tech Center. If your computer's broken, you should take it to Tech Center. If you need computer gear, Tech Center's the best in town. There are a few other players around, but none are as reliable, affordable, and friendly. As a computer consultant, I've been their customer since 2000, and I've sent literally dozens of friends, family, clients and colleagues to them for parts, repair, and advice. They're honest and fair and won't gouge just because the customer doesn't understand what's being done. I've personally purchased PCs, monitors, operating systems, Windows, Office, security software, cords and cables, accessories, hundreds of hard drives, thumb drives, optical drives, printers, toner, ink, adapters, and more--for systems new and old. Another incredible thing about Tech Center is that they keep inventory on hand in the store!!!! Hard drives, RAM, optical drives, operating systems, video cards, motherboards, processors, printers, toner and ink and all that computer hardware, and if they don't have it on hand, they'll order it, and you'll have it in a day or two.
