They charge $75 per 1/2 hour and charged me that amount stating that they removed MacAfee from my computer and that fixed the problem. Once I got home the problem was still there. I called and returned my laptop which they kept for over a week saying it wouldn't do that for them (freezing or disappearing mouse), I picked it up once again, got home and am having the same issue. I called once again and spoke to someone who told me they would speak to the Manager and call me back on Monday (I had called on Friday). Today is the following Thursday and I STILL have not heard from them at all! I think they have really gone downhill. Perhaps because the main guy has now taken on IT Services for businesses leaving us home owned laptop/computer users in the dust. Very unfortunate. I need to find a new computer fixer, Ugh!

"Do I purchase a new car simply because the tires are worn?" is my perspective. The level of communication demonstrated by Noah and Cerita was unexpected and refreshing for this first-time customer. I explained what I expected needed attention and received a couple of solid pricing options given the age of the equipment and my general computing needs. Not all of the replacement parts were available at one time, so the team was able to stage the repair such that I had a working system in my possession while waiting for the final item to arrive. The first question I was asked was "how much money are you willing to spend?". When my answer was "as little as possible" I was THEN informed that it would take a few hundred and it didn't matter anyway because they can't touch apple products. So... which is it? Was it that I wasn't willing to spend the money, or is it that you aren't allowed to touch apple products? I have a funny feeling if I had answered the first question correctly, I could have gotten my button re positioned. Maybe that sits well with some people, but, not with this person. I feel that any level of untruthfulness makes any business unworthy of my money. If I had said "whatever it takes" would they have been able to work on it? If there was never a possibility of getting it worked on, why would the subject of money be the first question? Shouldn't the first thing out of your mouth be "sorry, we are prohibited by proprietary law from working on apple products" To me... that says shady. To me that's enough to never darken their door again.
