Place has gone to hell. Used to have actual Tech's here. They handed me back a brand new PC I gave them for a simple Drive Clone. They didn't do that... and charged me $250 for a 'data transfer I could do in my sleep (literally). To add insult, I was then still supposed to reload all my programs manually (which the Clone eliminates need for) AND now the damn thing doesn't even work. They also did not 'data-transfer' my photos! WTF? I called them several times to get this resolved but I guess it's just a Frickin' rip off joint now. Avoid like Plague. read more

Don't buy from here. I purchased an ipad from Brandon for $450 that he posted on OfferUp. Which then he told me to go to his website thealpinecomputers.com and paid for it then he would ship same day. He never shipped it and kept my money. I currently have an open FTC report against him, OfferUp report, and others. I have yet to get a response back and i've tried calling the many numbers they have. I stupidly tried to upload Windows 11 update to a Dell computer loaded with Windows 7. Alpine helped me data transfer everything to a new Lenovo Chromebook without losing any data. The price was very reasonable and the length of time to do it was also fine. read more

Had seen the place while passing by, note to self, saw an add for free diagnostic in coupon book Well as luck would have it ole MAC was running real slow. I had done all I knew to do to alleviate the issue, so when to get the mac checked out. Kinda like taking the car in when it makes that funny noise hoping it doesn't break down before you have the money to fix it. We stopped from out of town when my sons computer charging port stopped charging. The guy at the store took the time to take a look at it and test it, and determined it needed extensive repair. L.A.M.E. Took laptop in several weeks ago and the person who help me was great. Appeared to be either the manager or owner. Had another issue with the same laptop and went back to Alpine. It was around 4:00 pm Friday afternoon. The guy who had previously helped me was not there. I explained the issues I was having and he stated it was impossible to repair and rattled of a list of reasons to support his comment. None of them made any sense. I then asked if they could at least diagnose the problem. He basically said no and told me to try some off the wall third party solution. He clearly was not into providing any help and simply counting down the minutes to start his weekend. This was a 180 degree change in service from what I previously experienced. I wish I new the managers/owners name so I could ask if they could diagnose and make repairs. read more

During a holiday it's hard to find anything open so I was really happy that they were open until 8pm, when things happen in a pinch later hours matter, but the day before 4th of July my husband dropped his phone and broke the screen. He got it a little wet as well but it didn't fall into a lake or anything like that which I'm thankful for. The phone wasn't responding to his finger touch and was flickering. We called and Brandon answered he said to bring it in and he would see what he could to within 24 hours to fix the phone. We dropped it off 15 minutes before 8pm and I called the following morning on 4th of July, to see if we could pick up the phone earlier. Brandon was there first thing in the morning and said we could definitely stop by to get it earlier, he would put it back together right away and once we get there we could turn it on and check if it was working. Lucky for us it was! Brandon was a lifesaver while we were on vacation here and needed the phone fixed ASAP. read more

this store is absurd with their prices. pretty much everything they sell is twice the price of what u can get down the hill or online. it is honestly worth the wait for online or a trip down the hill. you will still pay less in shipping or gas. they claim they carry the best but thats not statistically proven. read more

Words can't explain how grateful I am to Ryan and his tech. Every college person's nightmare is when you're in the middle of an exam and the computer shuts down. I took my i phone in to have the screen replaced as it had a small crack near the bottom. Chris assured me the crack was minimal and didn't require replacement. My wife's laptop started acting up so based on yelp reviews we took it to Alpine. It is a Compac with windows Vista. In a call back later I was told it was junk and not worth fixing. When I told them I had other computers they quit trying to sell me another computer but said they could take the data off of it for $130 ($80 @ Best Buy) There wasn't anything important on it as our email is kept in our providers servers. I took it home and fixed it by myself by running restore and a diagnostic app which identified a bad cell in the battery. If they had gone that far I would have happily bought the battery from them. Checking prices I found them for about $80 at the various retail stores. At amazon they were $20 with free shipping when I bought a couple of other items. With their free diagnostic you get what you pay for! read more
