Don't DO IT!! AT&T did some crazy stuff and messed up all my lines .... They didn't document what they did correctly and basically made it HELL. We had COLE from Verizon fix everything! i stopped by and i signed in and there was no line in front of me i just want to buy a phone just buy it and they keep taking other people in front of me to the point that i wait for more than 30 minutes and i left because they people that came in after me they text me first that there was one person in front of me when i was the first one and then in a couple minutes, they text me that two people in front of me in the line. Such a bad experience here. You are not greeted when you walk in and just walk around or sit awkwardly. When the guy walked up to me he had a bad attitude no hello no how are you nothing. You have to pay them $30 to help active a new $1600 phone you just bought lol and even that can "take hours to set up on their wifi" he wouldnt help me at all didnt give me any advice nothing. I was ready to give up on Verizon because it was difficult to do the mail trade-in , the instructions were not user friendly and it was extremely frustrating. I made an appointment at south hill Verizon and the 'greeter' who checks you in could've been a little more friendly But my disposition changed quickly when the customer service guy introduced himself. They refused to help me and made me sit on my phone trying to use the app instead of actually helping. They said they could not cancel a line but I would have to call in. I've had so many problems dealing with this location. I recently went to the downtown location to discuss some overcharges on my bill and the guy was so nice and helpful I decided to upgrade my phone to the new I phone 12 pro. I purchased a case because they said I could charge through it and because the sales guy said that I could return it. . I took it home and had repeated problems charging through it. So I went in today to take it back.and try to figure out why my phone bill almost doubled. First of all he tried to tell me I switched my plan and was prorated. No, that wasn't true. The issue was that they never cancelled my extra line. I cancelled it last September they just suspended it. Second problem, was the case. The guy I talked to today said that I couldn't return it there due to covid. But if I had purchased it there I could return it there. Ya, not the case. He just didn't want to do the return because it would likely count against his commission. This location is terrible. They've known that for quite a while but, still have the worst customer service anywhere. I work in customer service, it isn't hard. Don't lie and don't upset the customer. It's pretty simple. Lately I have had problems with with store. Today I just went in to see how I could get a replacement Spen. The girl working well sitting in the stool didnt ever stand to address me. I went to her and asked if I could get information about an S Pen replacement and she just said "we don't carry them". I said that's odd, well do you have Note 9 cases she replied with we have a couple I think over there. What I wanted to ask was if her ass was glued to that stool. But I didn't. My boyfriend ordered a phone online, and set it for store pick up. Went to pick it up, waited about 10 minutes wasn't busy and associates were just standing around. Finally someone came up to us, and brought out the phone. In the past at other locations, they walked us through every step with getting the phone set up, and answered any questions we had etc. Not at this store! The associate handed my boyfriend the phone, and my boyfriend asked him if he would help him set it up, and he responds: you do it at home, just connect to WiFi. My boyfriend bought a $800 phone and that's the associate response! Won't be back, rather drive to a further location, and get way better customer service. Employees are verbally abusive to customers and discriminated me for being upset with my phone service not working. I was treated worse than an animal by the blond haired lady and told notes by her saying I was argumentative on the phone. I was verbally talked down by this lady and she got in my face and I asked for a manager and then this is were it got even worse. The manager named Jonathon Brooke has no business being in the customer service industry as he has no idea how to desescalate a situation or even apologize for his associates actions. Trying to trespass me for no reason is not right after all they abuse the customer and expect them to enjoy it. Only shop here if you don't have complaints as they won't help you here. Make sure that you dont have any problems as they are known for ejecting people without cause and are discriminatory and don't care to help customers. We have 9 devices on our wireless plan so far, and when one of them needs an upgrade, we always go in to the Verizon store at South Hill Mall. They remodeled the store a few years ago, and it is much bigger and nicer now. The layout feels contemporary, with the display models showcased around the walls, and islands instead of a big counter. There is comfy seating with charging access as well. We are always greeted immediately upon walking in, although sometimes there is a bit of a wait for help if the store is busy. They sign you in electronically, so you can wander around or get a snack at the food court next door if you want. Once you get someone helping you, you understand the wait time because they really give you undivided, personal attention, and it never feels rushed. I have also always noted that while current deals and specials are mentioned, there is never the "pushy salesman" pressure to buy. There is a large selection of accessories in the store, so we always walk out with everything we need. Recently we went in to get my husband a new phone, and to have them look at a keyboard we bought last year for his iPad that was malfunctioning. Our salesguy explained our options for upgrading the phone, and how it would affect our plan and monthly payment, and he was able to replace the keyboard right there with a brand new one, no questions asked. read more

This is the WORST Verizon store on the planet! We have a corporate account with Verizon and went in to make some adjustments. They were completely disengaged and were no help at all. They actually told my business partner and myself to go to the Apple store. We went to the Verizon store on River Road and that group could not have been more professional. Can't believe how terrible the customer service is here. Came in to switch onto my boyfriends phone plan and rather the Verizon associate assist us with the process in store, he wrote down a number for us and sent us on our way. Came back with a few questions and he was of no help, and also had an attitude as if he were annoyed. I finally got so frustrated we just left and said screw it. In addition to all of this, during my time inside the store a woman came in and began to explain to a different associate about a glitch on her phone, once again, rather the associate HELP her, he said "I'm sorry i can't help you"...He didn't even look at her phone or see what the problem was. I actually spoke up and told the woman i would help her because i had the same problem with my phone. As the woman walked over to me the Verizon associate just walked away. They promised to do this and cover that, and once I was out the store the nightmare began as half of what they told me was false. And once you signed the papers you're screwed. A guy name Vong was helping us he was nice at first he told us to come back when we are ready to trade in our phones. He check the phones and told us what is worth for trade in. We came back after 1 week to trade in our phone Vong was there but another guy was helping us and told us our phone was not worth even a dollar then we told him Vong was helping us and told us what is worth. Vong realized we wanna talk to him he run to the back and his workmate told us he is gone for the day that was really rude and not a good customer service. My issues and sincerity were not questioned and everything was handled in a matter of minutes. My husbands phone broke on May 4th. I called the Verizon store, they told me they would wave the 30 dollar upgrade fee. They said they could do it at the Puyallup mall, they checked and said they had the phone in stock. When I got up there they said they didn't have it. I kept insisting they did and they finally found it but wouldn't wave the fee. I went back home and called, they still wouldn't wave the fee! However the first lady I talked to in the beginning of the day said she would. The 2nd lady then said she would take a look, then said she could wave 20 dollars. I asked to speak to her supervisor, she waved the fee. When I received the item the next day it was the incorrect item, I asked if i could return it, she said I could. I went to return the item and no one was there to help, the associate, that was taking names down, Brian , was no help at all! Even to return an item i had to wait for 7 other people! I am very disappointed since my husband has been so loyal being with them for over 20 years! They said they have amazing customer service but it did not show at all! read more
