After setting a date, I sent a message to firm up a time. After sending a follow up message, they said they didn't work in my area.

Dave Ross came out to give us an estimate, One of the first things I liked was how he approached me with a handshake. I notice people don't do that anymore. And I appreciate it how he represented himself He was thorough worth explaining everything. We need to get done and how to move forward with what we wanted. Thank you, and we'll be calling you back soon to get started on our project. read more

i just had a lot of work done on my house and your electrician Joe Chapman was awesome. Not only was he very professional, but he was friendly, courteous and very informative. i would recommend your company and this electrician to anyone . Thanks Brian read more

Had heating and air conditioning installed a year ago and yesterday and today (85 degrees) the air would NOT turn on. Needless to say I was extremely upset...... Called the office and Zach came out and fixed it quickly :) Dave (the salesperson) needs to be let go or retire as he doesn't represent the company well. He talks on and on and on about himself and never explains the products. They sent him out for the service after my one year install and he never brought a filter and did not actually "inspect the units!!! Wouldn't recommend Dave. Zach the "actual" tech that just left was great!!! read more

Wow! I've been looking for an electrician for months! I'm so glad I went with this company and especially appreciative of Chris Owen's for his professionalism, speedy work, and friendly demeanor! He came in and actively listened to my issue, fixed it quickly with quality work! I'll DEFINITELY be using this business again and really can't say enough great things about our wonderful experience! Thank you Chris and Happy Holidays to the team at Tapps Electric Heating and Air! read more

So it's half an hour past their appointment set up last week ... nobody shows up .... I call the office and some gal says that they could show up as late as 1 PM if they wanted to ... What do they think we do for a living? Just hang around for hvac guys to show up? We have careers jobs and business appointments just like them .... but noooo, they're special extra-busy husslers .. . fifteen minute grace is all a good business gets to use ... if not -- they tardy. One star rating guaranteed! read more

Chris is another fabulous employee who did excellent work. He stopped a loudly beeping smoke alarm, then came back to replace all 7 detectors. Awwww relief!! Tapps hires the best and we are always satisfied completely. He is top notch. read more

We had a great experience with this company. They were able to come out the morning after I requested a quote. Chase did a very thorough inspection and explained what he was doing - he was knowledgeable and professional. Chase explained our situation and gave us options. It was a plus that he's a nice person and he cleaned up after his work. I also appreciate the good communication from the office. I recommend this company. read more

I received the best service from Tapps electric. I needed a general furnace and heat pimp inspection. I was able to have a technician come to my house the same week. Matt arrived on time and completed a thorough job. Matt was very professional and kept me informed about the test he was doing on my equipment. Matt found a damaged part on my heat pump and replaced it at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Tapps electric for your equipment services. Dennis B. read more

I just moved in to my new house and found 3 outlets in the family room don't have power. Andy Mcdonald came, checked the trip breaker and start troubleshooting the issue. He quickly narrow down the problem and resolved it. There's no need to make a new hole in wall, etc. read more

Speedy scheduling and excellent service from the gentleman who came out. They fixed a gnarly wiring situation with no fuss.

Tapps has repeatedly demonstrated that they value their customers, they communicate effectively, and their employees are skilled/knowledgeable. Chase and Juan restored power to my garage in a way that was quicker, cheaper, and just as effective as the alternatives presented by other electricians. I love to support a union shop and will continue to take my business to Tapps for all my electrical needs. read more

They responded quickly, went over pricing and were super professional and understanding

Tapps electric did an excellent job at a reasonable price. Their communication from workers, management, and the front office was consistent, pleasant, and prompt. The project had multiple complications because much of the existing wiring had to be replaced or otherwise brought up to code while at the same time adding a 100 amp service for a future attached ADU unit. Andrew was quite remarkable at figuring out the whole mess of existing wiring and paying attention to the smallest of details to make certain it would all pass inspection. I highly recommend Tapps Electric for any size project of any complexity. Five stars across the board. read more

From my first call to the office, to the electrician who came to give us a bid, and finally to Daniel, who completed the project, EVERYONE was superb! Daniel was professional, friendly and very respectful of our property during his installation of my EV Charging unit. I received a few bids, Tapps Electric was very competitive and fair in their pricing. I love supporting a local business. I highly recommend Tapps Electric! read more

If I could give a negative 100, I would! Do not ever use this company!!! I hired them to install a tv mount above my fireplace, my wall was destroyed, mount incorrectly installed even after 2 electricians! Totally incredibly inept people and company refused to come back to correct problem!!! I can send multiple pictures to show their shoddy workand also texts to deny fixing their mistakes!!! I would NEVER EVER RECOMMEND hiring this company!!!! The work that they performed and their response has been an absolute NIGHTMARE! I have to hire another company to fix their mistakes!!! read more

I got home from Christmas out of town and used yelp to provide some suggestions. Tapps Electric responed first with a good time and solution to my problem. Daniel was here early-discovered the problem immediately. He fixed my issue and i received recommendations from Will informing me of future projects that needed to be done in the near future. I received an invoice and paid it immediately. These Is a great company. I will call them again if i have any more issues. I had an outlet that was sparking flames. Had i not noticed it before I left-my house might have caught on fire. Thanks again Daniel and Tapps electronic read more

Check it out I rarely leave reviews but I have to with this company. First hand I want to thank Chase, Zachary, and I feel bad I forgot the other guys name. These 3 came to my place and did solid work literally there at 8 am ready to work. They explained every detail to me answered every I MEAN EVERY SINGLE QUESTION. Down to earth crew who has good chemistry together I'm blessed to do business with Tapps Electric. Real talk anyone reading this right here this is the business to call. Those 3 that knocked the work out and took the time to show me how to operate the unit. There's not enough praise I can give them. I appreciate everything those 3 did I appreciate Tapps Electric for sending them out and doing business with them. YOU DONT NEED TO LOOK FURTHER SERIOUSLY THIS COMPANY IS THE REAL DEAL. Every single person I talked to is completely respectful, the lady on the phone, I have to pay my respect out to the salesman DAVE respectfully and knows his trade like the crew that came out. Everything he said they did. The prices were completely legit will not hesitate to pass there name down to ANYONE WHO NEEDS THERE TYPE OF SERVICES. read more

They were responsive, professional, and got the job done quickly. I just needed a minor wiring repair and a new thermostat installed. The initial quote I got through Yelp was accurate. The price was not the lowest quote, but not outrageous either. I chose them based on their reviews and I'm satisfied. I like that they employ union electricians too. I'd consider them again in the future for sure. read more

Super helpful and informative! Will definitely use on future projects.

Called to have someone come out and give us an estimate and after missing the 2 hour window, I called and they said he was running late, could we reschedule. I did and made it his first call Monday morning, and when he did not show up again, I called and the person told me he was never scheduled for this day, sorry.....can we reschedule again? NO! Could not even make one of two appointments to get an estimate. Very poor. read more

Tapps Electric is either incompetent, dishonest, or both. The owner Will is rude, unhelpful, and does not care about customers. I lost count of how many times Tapps Electric provided false information and did not return calls and messages left to the office. Multiple estimates for different jobs I received were incomplete or contained false information. Due diligence and professionalism were totally absent. Only after work finished and failed was I told that if I wanted anything to actually work, it would cost 4x the original quote, even though everything was identified before work started. Either it was known the planned job wouldn't work but work proceeded anyway, or it should have been known the job wouldn't work based on the facts that were identified in advance. Those explanations reduce to dishonesty or incompetence. The owner says it's not their problem. Responsibility appears to be a foreign concept to Tapps Electric. In addition to the false information, general incompetence, and waste-of-your-time owner, Tapps Electric technicians also quit the company and left in the middle of a job, damaged my interior walls, left behind giant messes of debris and garbage each time at each site, left the job as "done" when it wasn't, caused my overhead wires to smoke and burn which could have burned down my garage, no-showed on appointments to troubleshoot a failed installation after I had paid in full, and wouldn't return phone calls about the no-shows. This install was supposed to take one day, and instead it took more than two months of failed visits, unreturned calls, and no-shows for the owner to say 'too bad, we took your money and nothing works, and we knew it wouldn't work or should have, but that's your problem'. Do yourself a favor and avoid Will and Tapps Electric. read more

Very Reliable, honest, and professional people. From the time we called into the company to when the electrician came out, we had nothing but the best of service and wonderful attitudes. Their scheduling was very prompt and the price was very reasonable. Jacob was awesome. He fixed our issue with new thermostats and changing out an older toggle switch. No problem whatsoever. We highly recommend them. This will definitely be our "Go To" company from now on. read more

I called to schedule a small repair job. I was set up with an appointment and told that no job is too small. The morning of my appointment, I was called and told my technician was running late. I told her I was open all day. She said why don't you send me some pictures of what you need done and I can maybe send you a quote over the phone. I did as she suggested and no response. I called to see if she got my text and she said she was just looking at it and would get back. After a few hours, I texted again asking for my quote. Never heard back. It must have been too small of a job for them. No integrity, lousy customer service and just downright flaky company if this is how they treat their prospective customers. One bad experience can do a lot of damage to your reputation. Watch out who you hire! I'd certainly stay away from these flakes! read more

We bought a Tesla and got an additional outlet done from Robert ( i hoped i remember his name correctly). Robert and Will were really nice to help me find a right plug for the outlet . IT WAS my first electronic car that we have owned. He even sent me pictures and website to order making sure everything was okay before he left. Eventhough it took a little bit long than i expected but better be safe than sorry. Now i know who to call to get this type of services done in the future. read more

We contacted Tapps Electric to install a sub-panel in our garage. Joe was our Electrician and did a great job. The project was a challenging one, but Joe worked tirelessly to get the job done right. Tapps who? Never heard back from them. I initially went through yelp to find these guys. I submitted all of my information over the weekend and received a follow up email requesting additional information. Once I provided it, I was told I would be receiving a call or email from someone to give me an estimate...never heard anything. If you care about promptness or your time, look elsewhere. read more

over priced. And the technician, even tho hard working, he hooked my garbage disposal up to a 220 wire. Shame on him. Almost set my house a fire. He did come back and fix the issue tho. Then I had to send inspector the updated version of the upgraded panel box. Just make sure the guy gets some rest before they over use him again. read more

So, our breaker for our hot water heater kept tripping and it was a Friday night. I called quite as few electricians to see if anyone would be able to come by on Saturday. Not one called me back. Then on Saturday I continued my calls, going down the list of electricians on yelp. I came to tapps electric, and even though they just started their business and had only one yelp review, I was desperate and I didn't care. The phone picked up to a lady and I told her our situation and that we had no hot water and had little kids and could they come by sometime over the weekend. She said that most likely yes, and a technician would call us back. I then continued to make more calls to electricians thinking they may not call back but no one else picked up or called back. Then I got a call back from Tapps electric! They were going to come out the next day at 2pm (Sunday). Needless to say, William came out and handled our problem and we now have hot water! Thank you so much for coming out on a Sunday. We will be using you all for all of our electric needs for now on! read more
